Interrogation

Mikey plopped himself down. He looked at Sam and Tucker nervously. "But what will happen to Danny?"

Everyone stiffened. Then looked at the two in expectation.

Tucker and Sam looked away.

Andrew grew angry. "And don't deny that you know what's going on because we all know that you had something to do with this."

They bowed their heads in defeat.

"More like Sam had something to do with this," Tucker mumbled.

Sam snapped her head up and frowned at the boy. "You encouraged him too."

"I only said it looked cool. You gave him the idea to go in."

The other adolescents were beyond confused.

Sheldon frowned. "What the heck are you talking about?"

Sam and Tucker looked at them. Then at each other. They nodded, as if they had come to an agreement.

"The event with the ghost portal."

Maddie gasped. "The accident?"

Sam waved her hand. "Sure. You could call it that. Although it wasn't as much of an accident as you think it was."

Nathan frowned. "Wait what accident are we talking about?"

Jeez i barely ever write anything about nathan. I just dont know wht kind of personality he has. Only that he this redhead with a crush on valerie.

Richard thought. "Was it that time when Danny broke all the beakers in science?" He grinned. "Everyone was talking about it for a week. I wish I had been there to see it."

"Or that time when a ghost broke into class and Fenton chased it off with a ruler?" Chelsea laughed.

Tucker shook his head. "The accident that led to all those things."

They waited.

Tucker took a deep breath. "Ok so y'all know about the ghost portal, right?"

They nodded.

"It didn't work at first and me, Sam and Danny went to check it out." He raised his hand before the Fenton parents could say anything. "Yes, we were there. Danny was sad that you were so disappointed that it didn't work. The thing was a hole in the wall but it looked awesome. Sam convinced Danny to check it out."

There was an outroar.

"He went in?!"

"That's so awesome!"

"How is a hole in a wall cool"

Sam went red with anger. "It looked gothic and cool ok?"

Tucker managed to calm them down and continue his story. "So yes, Danny went in. He put a jumpsuit his parents had made for him and went in."

"There was a bright light and screaming," Sam continued. "Danny eventually was able to get out of the portal. He came out looking like a- having ghost powers."

Andrew frowned. "Wait wait wait wait. You said 'looking like..' Like what. A ghost?"

Sam rolled her eyes as if that was the most ridiculous thing in the world. "Of course not. He just got a few ghost powers ok?"

Dash paled. "When was this."

Sam smirked, amused. "About four years ago."

Dash could only stare. "Four? But...wha."

Andrew wasn't satisfied. "But you said he was the halfa. And the jock at the ghostly highschool said the halfa had a ghost side and a human side. And he was powerful."

Tucker pursed his lips. "His ghost side is that he has powers ok? Sure he's kinda powerful. But the jock exaggerated."

"But he said he had white hair and green eyes."

Tucker had a look that said he wanted to kill Andrew. Can't this kid just take a break?

"He was just joking," Tucker said through gritted teeth.

It was then that a guard decided to show up. He opened the door and grabbed the nearest kid. It just happened to be Chelsea.

She screamed bloody murder as she was suddenly yanked out. The others ran forward and tried to get her but the door was already closed.

"Let me go. I will make ectopudding out of you," the girl yelled. "I know karate!!"

The guard grunted as he held her down. Another smirked. "You're next."

James shouted: "What did you do to Kim!!"

They ignored him and disappeared down the hall.

Sam frowned. "We don't have time for this. We have to get out, find Kim and Chelsea and save Danny."

"How much time do we have," Melissa asked in concern. "You know...before something bad happens to him."

Sam gritted her teeth. "None of your business," she mumbled but Tucker spoke up.

"I'm not sure. Him being half ghost and not full ghost might be an advantage or a disadvantage. The filters could finish the job faster cuz there's less ghostly energy to filter. Or it could take longer cuz the energy is harder to find."

And it depends on how much power the filters have to drain. But maybe because of the high quantity of power, the filters get stronger and the process is finished more quickly." Tucker was mostly talking to himself now. Lost in though. Sam nudged him.

Andrew gaped. He understood what the black boy meant. (Its only discrimination i you think its bad that i call someone black)

Danny was powerful. Which meant the jock was right. And Danny does have a ghostly side. I will figure out what Danny looks like in ghost form, Andrew promised himself. Because he was Andrew Johnson. And no secret stayed safe from him.

Sheldon smiled at the boy. He knew that expression. It meant they were going on a mystery hunt.

Jack and Maddie still couldn't quite grasp the situation. "But why would Danny never tell us?" Maddie asked confused.

Sam grit her teeth. "Oh I don't know. Let me think." She turned to Tucker and said in a low voice: "Hey, Maddie. Lets catch the ghost."

Tucker caught on and let his voice rise in a pitch. "No, Jack. Let's dissect the ghost."

Sam put her hands on her hips. "No. Let's rip the ghost apart molecule by molecule."

Maddie and Jack shared a depressed glance.

Them Tucker realized. "Hey! Why am I the girl?"

Chelsea kicked as she was dragged through the halls. She shouted profanities until she was finally shoved through a door and into a huge room.

There were chains and other torture devices hanging from the walls, but what caught her attention was the seat in the middle.

She was pushed into it and her hands were put on restraints as well as her feet.

The white guy stood with his back to her and waited as the guards left the room.

Chelsea scowled. "What the hell am I doing here. What did I do wrong."

The guy turned around slowly. He inspected her. "You broke so many rules. I will not waste our time counting them."

Chelsea grunted. "You waste much less time if you just let us go."

The ghost smirked. "Where's the fun in that. Besides, you are humans. I cannot let humans float around the Ghost Zone creating havoc."

"I think you're the only one creating havoc here."

"Is that so? And what is this I hear about Skulker's Island being destroyed."

"He trapped us."

"And almost destroying the Box Ghost's house."

"They're fine. They invited us for lunch."

"Your very existence is a disobedience of the rules."

Chelsea stopped at this. "This is the first time I'm being sent to prison for existing."

"But what does it matter. You are here now and I want information."

"Oooooooh. So all this is just one big conspiracy. What do you want me to tell you. Where the human army is at? What kind of weapons they use? You might wanna take some notes..."

"I want information on the punk," Walker snapped.

Chelsea frowned. "The punk? You mean Spike. Yeah he's kinda weird. He's got piercing and everything, but it's less than before. I think his therapy sessions with Jazz are working. You should schedule a meeting with her. You need some therapy sessions dude."

Walker scowled. "I am talking about the halfghost!!"

Chelsea's eyes glittered. "You know him? Or is it a her? Man I wish I was halfghost. How do you think it would be. I'd be like this super prankster. Like seriously, think of all the trouble you could make. But as I always say. 'You're only in trouble if you get caught.'"

Walker grit his teeth and continued. "What have the Fentons made. What is the ship made of that it weakens ghosts."

Chelsea shrugged. "Hey dude. How am I supposed to know. Like I said, I'm no halfghost."

Walker groaned. He called out to the guards outside. "Just take her. Bring me a boy this time. I'm getting a headache from these human girls."

His eyes brightened as he remembered someone.

Chelsea, who was already halfway through the door, barely caught what he said.

"Bring me his friend."

Kim smiled to herself as she was taken away from fedora hat.

She chuckled at the conversation they just had. That stupid warden had no idea what he was dealing with.

She noticed she wasn't being taken back to the cell with the others. "Where are we going?" She asked the guard next to her. "Aren't we going back to the cell?"

The guard shook his head. "What. So you can exchange stories? No. We're putting you in a different prison."

They walked in silence for some time. Kim inspected her surroundings and memorized the way.

Finally, they stopped in front of a smaller cell than the one she had been in previously.

This time she did have a roommate. She winced. It was a big, ugly ghost. It looked at her like he had just eaten a whale and she was the dessert.

She looked at the guard. "You aren't really thinking of putting me with that?"

The guard remained uncaring. "Yeah? What's wrong with that?"

"Well, I'm just a small, defenseless girl..."

The ghost then noticed the look on the ghostly prisoner's face. He looked uncertainly at the other guard that had come with them. He sighed. "Alright. We'll put you in the next cell. But don't complain about the other prisoner too."

The other guard frowned when he saw who was in the other cell. "Jim, we aren't allowed to put anyone with him."

The guard shrugged. "Are you gonna throw the kid in with Maxy nextdoors?"

The guard pursed his lips, but then nodded. "Fine. But if Walker gets wind of this, it was your fault."

Kim was pushed in and the door closed.

The other guard answered back. "It was my fault last time. Why can't you take the blame."

They walked away.

"It was your idea to put Skulker and the Box Ghost in the same cell."

Their voices faded, but they could still hear a laugh.

"That was hilarious."

Kim looked at her new companion. She prepared herself for something big and scary. Something that would make her wish she had stayed with 'Maxy'.

She certainly didn't expect this.

It was a cat.

A cute one even.

It was black and fluffy and was staring at her through the glass.

It was surrounded by a glass cylinder that rose from the ground and connected with the ceiling.

It looked like it was made for somebody tall.

She sat down with her back against the wall. She didn't trust the cat.

Sure, she was a cat person but there should be a reason for the cat to be trapped in a cage within a cage and forbidded to have a prisoner to share the cage.

The cat blinked at her.

She tried to ignore it as she thought of a plan.

Kim smiled as she looked down at her bare forearm.

Wassup.
