Danny stood in shock for half a second. Then he quickly looked at whoever stood next to him, who just happened to be Kwan. He gasped dramatically, "Kwan!! Why did he point you out!! Wow, the ghost knows you. What are you hiding from us."

Dash immediately fell for it. He stood in front of Kwan and shook him. "I thought we were bros. How could you."

"But ma-an. I d-dont kno-w what y-you're ta-alking abo-out" Kwan said.

Youngblood was confused. The boy knew him. Why did he act like that. Then he realised. Phantom was playing pretend too!

He flourished his sword. "Come out and face your challenger, or die"

The horse grunted, "It's perish"

Kwan glanced at his friends nervously, "What? I don't know that ghost. What should I do?"

Richard pushed him aside, "Step aside, peasant. Let me handle this"

Danny blanched when he saw what the guy was wearing. He had a backpack wrapped around his shoulders and protecting his chest instead of his back, like an armor. A helmet adorned his head and he held a glowing green staff. Danny sucked in breath. That was his mom's staff.

He caught up to the kid, "Where did you get that?"

Richard poised, "I have obtained it in my quest from the wizard of cabinets!"

Danny rose an eyebrow, "Oh?"

Richard continued and stood at the entrance of the cockpit, where Maddie was arguing with Jack about not eating all the food. He saluted, "I request to be let out and fight the ghostly enemy that has threatened our vehicle"

Maddie was confused, "What ghost?" She looked down at the ghost radar and found a spot. She stood up quickly and rushed out, Jack right behind her, but they couldn't find anything.

"What ghost, Richard"

Richard stood before them, "My request stands"

Mr. Lancer interrupted, "I believe the kid has a great imagination. It's very good if you let him be"

Jack grinned and clapped him on the shoulder, "Of course, laddie. Go and beat that ghost butt for me"

Richard only nodded and waited for the door to open. Maddie looked at Jack, unsure about the whole ordeal but Jack nodded.

She sighed and hinged a chord around Richard's belt buckle. Then she pushed the button.

Sir Richard was about to step out when Chelsea threw herself before him, "Let me go with you. I'll be your servant!"

Richard held up his hand, "Fear not, my lady Chelsea. This is too big a risk. Not apt for such a lady as you. You must stay in safety whilst I fight my opponent"

Then he stepped out, leaving behind an annoyed Chelsea.

He floated until he was at eyelevel with Youngblood. Then he readied his 'sword'. "I challenge you, sir ghost. In the stead of the one thou hast challenged"

The bony horse rolled his eyes, "Oh no. Another one of those"

Youngblood was delighted with this new playmate. He morphed his smile into a scowl and readied his sword too, "Challenge accepted"

Youngblood swung his sword and the class gasped. However Richard blocked it and pushed it away. He made a swing of his own and sir Youngblood ducked out of the way.

Star flashed pictures until she got the perfect one and deleted the others. She smiled. She had already taken one of the highschool they had just left and a few with the new friends she made there.

Danny looked on while gnawing his knuckle. "That kid better not do anything rash" he mumbled.

Valerie suddenly appeared next to him and he yelped.

"Oh sorry for the scare. I was just wondering if we could talk."

Danny bit his lip. He was now taller than Valerie even though they were both seventeen. "Umm sure? What about?"

"Do you know Plasmius?"

The question stratled him. What should he answer?:
No, should I?
Or: yeah, everybody does.
Or: I'm not a ghost!

Mmh probably not that last one. "Yeah. He fights Phantom doesn't he?"

Valerie's eyes widened, "How did you know that?"

Danny shrugged, trying to be nonchalantal. He looked at the fight. "Saw them fighting once. He's pretty powerful"

Valerie's mind worked overtime. Was it true? That would explain how he knows Vlad is evil....or does it? Maybe he believes Phantom is good too, therefore anyone fighting him is bad. Does he think the Red Huntress is bad too?

She stayed quiet and looked at the fight.

Richard was getting tired. He wasn't used to fighting while floating. He had to finish this now. He made a fake uppercut, which the ghost fell for, and quickly striked his chest. Youngblood was pushed back from the impact. His armor now had a dent on it. The ghost child stared at the human in shock. Then he scowled.

Richard smirked and saluted with his staff. "I win"

"No, it's not fair. You were cheating. It's not fair" he stomped angrily.

"Youngblood!!" A shrill voice shouted. A ghostly woman appeared. Her greasy green hair came down her shoulders.

Danny gasped, "Kitty?"

Valerie who still stood next to him, heard. "You know her?"

Danny didn't answer.

Kitty scowled at the ghost child, "What am I supposed to do with you, you little brat. Running off like that!"

Youngblood crossed his arms, "It was boring. All you did was talk to Ember about Johnny so I left"

Kitty growled and Richard poked Youngblood. "Who's that?"

The ghost rolled his eyes, "My babysitter"

Richard recoiled, "Ooooooh. Really? Good luck"

Kitty stomped forward and snatched Youngblood's arm. She dragged him away. Youngblood winked at Richard, "Don't worry. She won't stay my babysitter for long. Hey! Let's meet up to play later"

Richard smiled, "You bet"

They parted ways. The bony horse trotted beside them silently. Kitty grumbled, "I don't get paid enough for this" and they disappeared in the green haze of the Ghost Zone.

A million questions were thrown Richard's way when he reentered the ship. Questions like:
"Who was that ghost?!"
"Were you scared?"

Richard stood there triumphantly as a camera flashed. Maddie just watched from the cockpit. She shook her head, "Kids"
She turned to look at Jack and found him eating up a piece of meat he'd stolen from the food cabinet. "Husbands"

Richard took the helmet off and tossed it back to Dash, who took it with a grumble. He unstrapped the backpack from his chest and grinned.

"I am victorious!" He held up the staff, obviously expecting cheers and clapping. What he got was Maddie who just now realized he'd taken her staff and quickly snatched it back.

Chelsea frowned and crossed her arms, "Next time I go fight the wicked and evil ghost"

Danny rolled his eyes. "No way" next time, nobody was going out there. Richard was lucky it was Youngblood and that the ghost liked him. The halfghost had seen right away they'd make a good pair so he'd let the boy go. What he wanted to know, though, was what Kitty was doing there.

"Richard. Who was that ghost that came and took Youngblood?"

Richard giggled, "His babysitter"

Tucker laughed, "The kid's finally got a babysitter"

Richard shook his head, "Actually. I think he's had more before this one"

Jack came back to interrupt. "If you are done playing, kids. It's lunchtime!!"

"You're not getting anything else, Jack, so don't get your hopes up" Maddie shouted.

Jack sighed, "And after this. We're gonna visit the next ghost's lair."

Evil laughing. Bet yall thought this was gonna be a reveal huh?

Nope. If theres a way out, dannyll take it. Hes a smart kid.

So this is what i think hed do if he was pointed out by a ghost. Although it wont work if they say his name ;)

Anyway i waited extra long to leave yall waiting. But here it is.
Dont you love Richard. Hes just this cute 14 year old (one of the youngest in the group) and no, hes not Dick. Chelsea will get her chance too. I really like her.

Btw. Melissa is based of the one in milo murphys law. I really like her so i decided to make her interfere in our ship to make yall suffer. :)
