One of the many trials that Danny have to face is the other deities of death. Most demanded for a match, to see his worth as one who would rule over them all. However, one particular Goddess of Death saw an opportunity. One that she can use for her own gain.

And so, Danny faced the Queen of Saturn from the Silver Millennium...

The only one on the other end of the scale of Life.

Hotaru opens her eyes, recalling the ever lonely days of being the daughter of the Goddess of Death; Queen Saturn. Though her mother cares greatly for her, in the end, Hotaru is aware even from a very young age that she is only loved for what she can be to Silver Millennium.

As her power grows, people began to fear her. Even her fellow Outer Scouts, they avoids her in fear of the weight of her power.

Saturn never resent them. She understand it well. All things fears the End.

Even so...

Even so...

In that eternal seal, she dreams away. Hoping to see that figure that she once dreamt of with the help of Queen Serenity. Though her mother forbid her from ever wondering, from ever questioning, she cannot help but yearn for the presence of a father.

Green eyes.

Black and white.

Life and Death.

The Ruler of Chaos.

That truth is something that she can never share with anyone. Even with her precious friend Chibi Usa. As her mind erodes to give way to Mistress 9, these memories plays in her mind. Fluttering around like ethereal butterflies. Always there at the tip of her fingers. They will always disappear upon waking, taking with the truth of her origin.

And just as the world begins to break apart...

She feels the seal upon her break. Saturn could only swallow her hope and despair in equal measure. After all, this is the only time in which she can interact with the world. However, each time the seal breaks, she will have to swing her glaive and ends all Life before resetting it all through the power of Illusionary Silver Crystal.

How many cycles have it been?

Everyone else will forget, even Saturn as time itself will reset. But not Saturn. She is the only one to know just how many times the Moon Princesses had to use her power to give them a chance against Chaos. As she fully awakens and reclaims her mortal shell, she declares herself;

"I am an emissary from the abyss of death. Protected by Saturn, the Planet of Destruction. I am the Soldier of Silence," She looks at the man that was supposed to be her mortal father, yet fallen to the influence of Chaos, "Sailor Saturn,"

As the group watch the star of Saturn falls to the ground, someone appears. The tired Scouts tenses for another battle, despite Chibi Moon's tears for her disappeared new friend. However, even in their tired state, they can feel his power. It is confusing to them.

He reaches up and catches the light, revealing a crying newborn.

Neptune gasps, "Saturn!"

Chibi Moon staggers to her feet, "Hotaru-chan!"

Fearing that he will harm the newborn Scout, they rushes towards the broken tower. Even Neo Queen Serenity rushes towards the solitary figure with a crying newborn in his arms. Chibi Moon shouts, "Don't you dare hurt her, you creep!"

Surrounded by weary but battle ready soldiers of the galaxies, the man simply ignores them instead of becoming tense. If anything his glowing green eyes are only on the newborn, who have fallen silent to stare up at him in wonder. She reaches up with her stubby fingers and strands of hair like the Milky Way found its way to her touch. She stares at the glimmering white strands in wonder before babbling up at him.

He looks at at Chibi Moon, "Is Hotaru her name?"

Tuxedo Mask steps closer to his future daughter, Serenity right behind him and her other side. Chibi Moon warily nods.

He smiles wider at that before looking back down on Hotaru, "Finally...her hold on you have grown too weak to prevent our meeting. I have always wanted to meet you...Hotaru," He chuckles, "I like that name better than the one you shared with your mother,"

Pluto gasps, "You're...Saturn's mysterious father,"

The group looks at her in shock. Uranus asking, "You know him?"

Pluto shakes her head, "Not really. I have heard whispers that the late Queen Saturn had a promise with a mysterious figure from beyond the stars to arrange for...well...Saturn. However, she refuses to speak of him or even reveal him to anyone. Not even to late Queen Serenity. It is why the late Queen does not have an amicable relationship with Lady Saturn as she believed that a child, be it daughter or son, deserves a bond with their father,"

The man looks at her, "Odd of you to say that. Saturn was adamant that her people are strictly matriarchal and that my presence in Hotaru's life will influence her negatively,"

Neptune nods, "A few generations prior to the late Queen, that was our tradition. But starting from the Princess's great grandmother's time, we had not practiced the custom. At least...those not of Saturn,"

He sighs as he looks at the child, "I have always wanted to see her. However, I am not allowed to even speak of her. Only my mentor knew of our arrangement," He smiles at her, "Would you like to come live with me, Hotaru?"

Neptune tenses at that but Uranus puts her hand on her shoulder. They look at their oldest, Pluto, to take cue from her action. Pluto stares at the sight before saying, "We would like visitation right,"

Neptune turns to her, "Pluto!"

Pluto shakes her head, "Understand. Once Saturn returns to her power, we will have to seal her away again. But perhaps returning her to her father will do better than sealing her forever,"

Chibi Moon argues, "But her old dad wasn't any good to her!"

The man sighs, "Why don't I show you where I live and have you meet with my other children so that you can decide for yourself if Hotaru will be able to live safely and happily there. Mind you, I have an army of children,"

Pluto is gobsmacked. She almost cannot believe where she is standing. The other older Scouts reacted the same as her while the younger ones look around in curious wonder. Pluto taps her staff to gather their attention before explaining, "We are standing in the Sacred Cauldron,"

The man, calling himself Danny, chuckles, "People here just call it the Infinite Realm. But traditionally it is Chaos Cauldron," He waves one free arm around, the older secured around and under baby Hotaru, "This is the Womb of Existence. Whatever it is that is haunting your World Tree, it cannot reach here. At least, not without alerting my son's Shadow Army around the edges. Also, recently," A small boy with bone white face and hair with horns pops over his shoulder, "The Voidlings just discovered Hive Mind. They are able to interact with each other regardless the distance so if anything happen in town that they believe I should know, I will know through their oldest, Hollow,"

Serenity, Venus, and Jupiter shudders at the hollow 'eyes' staring at them over Danny's shoulder. Danny turns around to show more of the sight, but the Scouts are more distracted by the strange boy clinging to Danny's shoulder, his head 180o turn to face them.

Chibi Moon whimpers beside Tuxedo's leg, clinging to his cape, "How is he doing that?"

Jupiter blinks at Danny, "I have to admit...that I thought you were joking about the army of kids,"

Before them, there are so many like the boy clinging to Danny before jumping off to join the rest. They seems to be doing their own things. Some are fixing something on the ceiling. Another group seemingly doing gardening. While most seems to be making themselves busy.

Venus suddenly stops, causing Mercury to bump into her. Before the blue Scout can ask her, Venus breathlessly asks, "Who...is that work of art?"

They finally sees what she saw as she points at the tall man coming their way. He have long silver hair and a good stature. Serenity sidles to Tuxedo, mumbling that she have him. Tuxedo sudden need to be territorial immediately disappears at the mumble, and instead causing him to blush.

Danny laughs, "That...would be Sephiroth,"

Venus sighs as she fans herself with a blush, "He's angelic alright,"

Danny continues, "He's my eldest,"

Venus pauses for a moment before shaking her head, "Still a work of art,"

Sephiroth stops before saluting Danny, "Father," His green eyes notice the baby in his arms, "Is that...?"

Danny hands him the baby, "This is Hotaru, your sister,"

Sephiroth stares at the baby before moving and accepting the soft and helpless thing, "So small..." He then coos, "Hello there. I'm your oldest brother, Seph. I'll will teach you how to be the best child for Father,"

Danny rolls his eyes, "She can breathe and she is already perfect for me,"

Seph grins, "Never settle, Father. You are a King. You deserves all,"

Danny shakes his head, "You and your need to exert dominance over everything,"

Danny informs them that since he have someone that can send them back to the right time on their world, making it seems as if they never leave, it is alright to stay and rest. Needless to say, Pluto as the Guardian of Time, is a little apprehensive at that.

Danny just laughs, "You are a Guardian of Time. I am talking about my mentor, the Master of Time. While you only see Past, Present, and Future, he sees Eternity and All. There is big difference there. So don't worry too much about time. Here is probably the only place where you can relax with your duty and nothing bad happens,"

Venus is aware that she is boy crazy but being in Phantom's Keep is only making her crazier. Also, King Arthur is a girl and a bombshell at that?! Oh well, that Archer guy is certainly a no touch then. Venus is a Guardian of Love and Beauty. She's not going to ruin someone's love life just because she is having a crush on the guy. Also, the energy between them is almost like the energy between Serenity and Endymion. That means love that transcends life and time. She can respect that.

Mars is also acting weirdly shy with the blond named Minato but Minato is apparently a widow with a son that he seriously wants to get to, so Venus don't know about that.

Meanwhile, the guy named Loki seems to be avoiding Jupiter. Unfortunately for him, this makes Jupiter all the more suspicious of him and seems to be plotting to confront him. Good luck with that.

Mercury seems to be exchanging book titles with the guy named Jason. That's cute.

Ulquiorra creeps everyone out and he's not even doing anything. Also, he's apparently dating someone named Orihime who lives in a different world from theirs.

Everyone but Chibi Moon is avoiding the tall guy named Hollow. She seems determined to make the man crack an expression but all she gains so far is a confused tilt of his head. She is currently inciting the other Voidlings to pull a prank on Serenity.

Uranus is actually having a blast talking about motor sports with the boy named Connor.

Meanwhile Neptune is exchanging musicals with Mal. On Mal's other side is Tuxedo, who previously have been talking about preserving the wilderness of Earth with the faerie.

Pluto on the other hand is busy talking about time with the other guy named Ashborn. Apparently, he knew about the consequences of resetting time and all. Venus swears upon her star that his shadows sometimes quiver on it's own as if alive...she won't put it past this place.

All in all, it seems that Saturn, or Hotaru, is going to be in great hands. She have so many siblings, including 30 000 Voidlings, to keep her safe and protect her from harm. Also, she will never want for good food with Archer always cooking things for the family. Venus feels that this place will be great for her.

Danny hands Pluto a slim mirror. Pluto looks at it, "What is this?"

He gestures at it, "Something for you to communicate with. It doesn't run on anything but your own energy. You can activate it by feeding it your energy, magic, life force, whichever version or type you choose and it will only response to you. Don't worry about it breaking. Loki puts a runic circuit that makes it unbreakable," He watch as the others looks at the slim mirror with greater interest, "It is the combined effort of everyone. I will give one to Hotaru once she is matured enough. I am sure you can tell that she will not remain a child for very long,"

Pluto nods. Uranus steps forward with a smile, "Thank you...for taking her in,"

Danny sighs, "I would have been there for her since the beginning but I wasn't as strong when I made that contract with her mother. Especially as she used a summoning compulsion on me. When I am strong enough, the contract refuses my meddling with Hotaru's life or she might sleep forever. So I forced myself to only watch her through time,"

Pluto looks at the Master of Time floating just behind Danny. He reminds her of her father but she knows that this is not him. Her father Kronos can only see Past, Present, and Future just like her. A very linear ability to scry time. But if this Master of Time can see all, then his ability is far greater than her own. She turns back to Danny, "I see..."

He shakes his head, "I hated that she sealed Hotaru away like some kind of nuclear weapon. Granted that, that is the sort of power she wanted to cultivate between us. But it feels as if she could not trust Hotaru to be able to make her own decision or to be responsible with her power. It's..." He closes his eyes before looking at Hollow, "I wonder if she thinks that no cost is too great when she decided to have Hotaru and seal her away?"

A few days later found Minako giggles as the girls gather in their favorite cafe, "I have to say it!"

Ami looks at her, "Say what?"

Rei answers, "Something stupid that must have taken all her brain juice to come up with,"

Usagi ignores them in favor of competing over ice cream with Chibi Usa.

Minako declares, "Danny is a bona fide DILF!"

Makoto gawks at her with a bright blush shared by all the other girls, besides Usagi and Chibi Usa still competing over a giant waffle now, her tea flowing back into the cup in her hand. However, after a long awkward silence, Chibi Usa looks up to ask a very important question, "What's a DILF?"

Usagi blinks with a now clean fork pulled out of her mouth, "Yeah. What's a DILF?"

Minako shouts, "Daddies I'd Like To F-!!!"

Rei, Makoto, and Ami quickly jumps on the blond before she can break the shell of sweet innocence between the two Princesses of the Moon. The fact that the crowd in the cafe are now looking at them with knowing older men blushing quietly over their food is not helping the situation at all. It takes many hands to shut Minako up before she embarrasses them further and only managed to stop her by feeding her a whole slice of cake, making her mouth too full to finish her crass words.

Usagi sighs at them while Chibi Usa shakes her head, "And they call us childish,"

Danny throws his head forward as he sneezes, fortunately his punch lands square on his opponent's noggin. He sniffs as he shakes his head, "What was that?"

Ashborn answers, "Someone must be talking about you,"

Danny returns his focus to the battle at hand, "Good stuff I hope,"

Meanwhile, behind them Loki is looking at Seph with a grin, "Bet Archer's seconds that they are talking about Father being a DILF,"

Seph snorts, "Why bet when that have been the hot topic since Hotaru's here?"

Loki pouts, "Drat...bet it was those girls from the other days," He tries again.

Seph looks at him, "They are minors?"

Loki smirks, "Surely you realize that girls of that age notice fine older men more than some upstart snot nosed boys that likes pounding their chests like gorillas and calling themselves Alpha Males?" He then smirks, dangling another reason to take the bet, "And who is the finest gentleman in our family besides Father?"

Seph shakes his head as he slices a coming minion to pieces, "...tempting but no bet. I don't know enough about teenage girls to take that up,"

Loki scrunches his nose, "Tough nut you are,"

"BOYS!! FOCUS!!"

"YES FATHER!"

Hotaru giggles as she races through the hall with her Siblings. She then laughs at a familiar sight that she's blitzes past, "Hi Papa, bye Papa!!"

Danny smiles as she streaks past him with Hollow and the Voidlings in tow. Shaking his head at the sight, cherishing every moment she is child, he returns to walking to his office. He knows that when she is big enough, her memory as Saturn will return and she might request to return to her duty as a Sailor Guardian.

When that time comes, he will respect her decision.
