Chapter 6: Defenses.

"Sebastian, what are you saying? These men are actually vampires?" Ciel asked, confused.

Sebastian nodded his head and placed a finger on his chin. "That is precisely what I am saying my lord. I have only met a few of them in my life. Even I am at a disadvantage here, I have never fought a vampire before, but I think I know someone who can be of some assistance." Sebastian reached for the telephone that was sitting atop of Ciel's desk. He dialed a number that was unknown even to Ciel. They waited in silence as someone was reached on the other line.

"Hellsing residence, this is Walter." A male voice spoke on the other end.

"Yes Walter, it is Sebastian. I need to speak with Alucard at once, is he availab-" "Sebastian? What's wrong?" A deep voice sounded, cutting Sebastian off.

"Alucard, I require your assistance here at the manor, how fast can you be he-" The man had hung up, leaving only the dial tone.

"Fast enough for you to not be able to finish your sentence." A deep voice called from the doorway. Sebastian and Ciel turned their attention to the man in crimson.

The man was very tall, taller than the Sebastian. His outfit was comprised of a charcoal suit, leather riding boots, covered by a full-length, red overcoat. On his head sat a red fedora with a wide, floppy brim and a pair of circular, heavily tinted, wire-framed orange sunglasses that appeared to resemble that of goggles. His hair was long and seemed to fall wherever it desired, the color being that of the blackest coal. His mouth was filled with pearly white teeth and four sharp canines as he grinned.

"Hello Sebastian." That man said. Sebastian placed a hand over his heart and leaned forward.

"Hello Alucard, it is a pleasure as always. I thank you for coming on such short notice." Sebastian said. "This is my young master, the Earl Ciel Phantomhive." He said while motioning towards Ciel.

Alucard's grin grew even larger, if that were possible, as he looked over the boy. "My, your master is a demon? What have you gotten yourself into my dear friend." Alucard outstretched his large gloved hand towards Ciel. "It is a pleasure my lord, my name is Alucard."

Ciel nodded his head and shook his hand. "The pleasure is all mine Alucard."

Alucard stood up straight and looked around the room. "So Sebastian, why did you call for me?"

Sebastian motioned towards the window and narrowed his eyes. "We have unwanted guests." Alucard's grin fell, but soon returned after he looked towards Sebastian, scoping out the guests. He walked towards the window and narrowed his eyes as well.

"I know those two bafoons. They are vampires, and quite the disgrace at that. However, I find myself confused." Alucard stated with gritted teeth.

"And why is that?" Ciel asked.

"These two men were killed back at the Hellsing manor a few months back. The one in blue was killed by my master, Sir Integra, and the one in white, I disposed of. How the hell are they alive again?" Alucard asked, confused.

Sebastian looked over Alucard's shoulder and widened his eyes. "I think that may be the least of our problems at the moment, look there." Sebastian pointed past the two men to reveal a multitude of staggering men.

Alucard chuckled maniacally as he stared at the men. "So, they've brought an army of ghouls with them I see. How exciting."

Ciel's eyes widened at the term 'ghouls'. "W-what exactly is a ghoul?"

Alucard turned to Ciel with another large grin. "Ghouls are the creation of a deflowered human being bit by a vampire. They are a creature that is controlled by the vampire that bites them. Though they are easily ridden of and besides the confidence I have in two demons and mysel-"

"Make that three demons, if you will." A soft voice spoke, cutting off Alucard.

Everyone in the room turned their attention to the voice. "Another demon? Why I've never been in the presence of so many before." Alucard said with a chuckle. "And never one as lovely as you, might I add."

"Alucard, this is Isabella Victoria, Miss Victoria, this is Alucard." Sebastian said between the two.

Isabella walked fully into the room and curtsied. "It is a pleasure, Alucard."

Alucard grabbed her delicate hand as she stood back up and placed a gentle kiss on her soft skin. "The pleasure is all mine, Isabella."

"Ahem." Ciel cleared his throat, ending the greeting.

"My apologies my lord." Isabella said as she pulled back her hand. "I have put lady Elizabeth to bed for a nap, the door is sealed off and no one is getting in or out. Now," She said as she walked towards the window. "Who the hell are we dealing with?"

A smirk grew across Sebastian's face as she did so. "We are dealing with vampires and an army of ghouls, my lady."

A smirk grew across Isabella's face as well. "Why we have not had this much fun in ages have we, Sebastian?" She said while turning towards the man.

"Not since the outbreak of the Black Death, my lady." He said with a chuckle. Isabella giggled as well, while Alucard and Ciel stood there clueless to their little joke.

"Alright that is enough. What are we supposed to do about them?" Ciel asked.

"As much faith as I have in the four of us, I think we are in need of some assistance as well. May I borrow your telephone, lord Phantomhive?" Alucard asked. Ciel nodded his head and motioned for him to continue.

He picked up the telephone and dialed a strange number, and awaited for the other party to answer.

"Yes, Hellsing residence. Walter speaking." A familiar voice answered.

"Walter, I need you and the police girl." Alucard said.

"And what of Sir Integra?" Walter asked.

"Put her on Walter."

"Very well, sir."

"Yes, hello?" A feminine voice sounded.

"Master, I need to ask a favor of you." Alucard said.

"Very well, what is it?" Integra replied.

"I need the three of you at the Phantomhive manor as fast as you can manage. We have come up on a little problem."

"The Phantomhive manor? Sebastian, what's wrong?" Integra said loudly, knowing Sebastian could hear her.

'Who the hell are those people?' Ciel thought to himself as be listened to the conversation.

Sebastian walked to Alucard and placed his ear by the telephone. "I shall explain everything upon your arrival, Sir."

"Very well, we shall be there momentarily." Integra spoke.

"If you will, please enter through the back entrance. It is not safe for you in the front." Sebastian added.

"Alright." And with that she hung up.

Alucard placed the telephone back onto the receiver and looked to the clock located on the wall. "With Walter driving, I am sure it will take no longer that fifteen minutes, in the mean time." Alucard said as he reached into his coat. "We will need to build up the defenses." He pulled his hand out, revealing a beautiful set of twin pistols.

Sebastian nodded his head and turned his attention to Ciel. "Young master, my orders."

Ciel brought his hand up to his right eye and tore away his eye patch, flipping his hair out of the way. "Sebastian this is an order! Build up the manors defense system and dispose of those filthy vampires and their ghouls at once!" He shouted as his right eye glowed a bright purple.

Sebastian placed a hand over his heart and bowed as a smirk grew from his lips, exposing his sharp canines.

"Yes, young master."
