Chapter 13: Corps of corpses.

"What the devil is taking them so damn long?" Ciel said, growing weary. It had been around an hour and a half since they began fighting.

"They had a lot to dispose of." Integra said as she puffed her cigar.

Ciel propped his head on his hand as he sat in his chair. "Yes, well Sebastian is usually much faster than this, and taking into consideration that he has the help of a demon and two vampires." He said.

"As true as that may be, I-"

"Master!" The door suddenly slammed open, revealing a frantic Seras and Pip. She ran to Integra's side and placed a hand over her heart.

"What is the meaning of this Seras?" Intrgra said standing up.

"My apologies Sir, but, it's Isabella." Seras said as she hung her head.

Elizabeth's eyes grew wide as fear began to set in. "What is wrong with Isabella?" She said, standing up as well.

"Well she," Seras began, but paused.

"She what dammit!" Ciel said as he slammed his fists down onto his desk.

"S-she was s-shot."

"And what exactly is the problem with that? Demons get shot all of the time and they're fine." Ciel said sitting back down, not as alarmed as he was before.

"No my lord, it was Alucard who shot her." Seras explained.

Integra's eyes widened as she spoke. "Oh no, this is not good." She whispered.

"What? What the devil is the matter? Why did Alucard shoot her?" Ciel asked, growing confused.

Integra turned to Ciel with a look of panic. "Alucard uses blessed bullets. They kill immediately." She said. "They are used solely for the purpose of decimating vampires, but demons and vampires are very much alike."

Elizabeth's eyes began to sting as tears welled up. "Take me to her!" She shouted at Seras as she clung to her teddy bear.

"No! Lizzy, I-" Ciel began.

"No Ciel. She promised me she would be okay. Now take me to her!" She shouted.

Seras looked to Integra, who simply nodded her head.

Seras left the room and led Elizabeth to the room Isabella was in. She knocked on the door quietly and cleared her throat.

She waited, but there was no reply.

"Hello? Sebastian?" Seras asked, but there was still no reply.

"Hel-" She began as she opened to door to the room she thought they were in, but she was wrong.

Seras was met with a wide variety of moans and groans. She quickly closed the door and turned to Elizabeth. Scents of rotting flesh and blood filled the air around them.

"W-what was t-that?" Elizabeth asked, trembling in her slippers as she still clung to her teddy bear.

"I need to find my master, he'll know what to do. I'm going to take you back to Lord Phantomhive alright?" Seras said frantically.

"A-alright." Elizabeth said.

"Please excuse my actions my lady." Seras said as she scooped Elizabeth up and ran down the hallways.

When they arrived at the door, Seras wasted no time in knocking. She opened the door and sat Elizabeth down.

"My apologies, but there seems to be a problem." Seras said, turning to Integra.

"What is it Seras?" Integra asked.

Seras lowered her head to Integra's ear. "It's ghouls." She whispered.

"Ghouls?" Integra said out loud. "I thought you all got rid of them?"

"I thought we did as well sir, but when I took lady Elizabeth to Isabella, I went to the wrong room. The room is filled with them sir." Seras explained. "There could also be a possibility that the room is not the only one filled with them."

"I see," Integra said sitting back in her chair. "Where is Alucard?"

"I am right here my master." Alucard said, suddey phasing through the wall.

"Did you hear?" Integra asked.

"I did master, I shall dispose of them right away." He said kneeling at her side.

"Go with him and assist Seras." Integra ordered.

Seras bowed and nodded her head. "Yes sir!"

Alucard and Seras phased through the wall and began for the ghouls. When they arrived, Seras stood at the door, ready to open it.

"Ready master?" She asked as she held onto her gun.

Alucard nodded his head. Seras nodded in reply and pushed the door open. Her eyes widened at the multitude of ghouls.

The room they were occupying was undoubtedly five times the size of Ciel's study, taking that into consideration, there were a lot of ghouls.

Seras pointed her gun at the first ghouls heart and fired, but the ghoul did not falter. It's rotting flesh began to peel away from it's body as it stalked towards her, seeming completely unphased, besides the large hole in its chest.

"What the hell?" She whispered.

Alucard shot at one as well, receiving the same outcome. The ghoul lunged for him, but Alucard kicked it away, landing right into the middle of a group of the rotting corpses.

Both of their eyes widened as they watched something they had never seen before.

The ghoul that had landed in the middle was being ripped apart and feasted on by the other ghouls.

"Master, what is this? I don't understand!" Seras shouted as the ghouls ran towards them.

"I don't know police girl, I'm just as confused as you are. I have never seen them eat each other. Maybe if we try shooting them in the head." Alucard said as he pointed his pistol towards a ghoul, shooting directly in the middle of its head.

But that only seemed to slow it down.

"Maybe we can dismember them and keep them from moving." He said in mid thought.

Seras nodded her head understandingly and ran towards a ghoul, grabbing it by the arm. She pulled as hard as she could until the ghoul's arm separated from the joint. She did the same with the rest of its limbs, not allowing it to move.

She backed away from the ghoul and watched as Alucard did the same. It obviously stopped it from moving, but it could still open it's mouth and bite towards them.

"This is taking too long police girl. We need to find another way, they're closing in." Alucard said while ripping one of their arms off.

"These guys can't be killed unless you smash in their heads, ya know?"

Seras and Alucard looked up as an unfamiliar voice sounded through the air, along with the roar of a lawnmower.
