Opening Up
The Phantom and Christine have had an argument about something, and their high emotions make for a funny situation...
"I can't believe you'd accuse me of trying to get you to take off your mask in front of me! I was just trying to recommend a lotion that would be good for your dry skin." Christine huffed.
"That's what you want me to think, when in reality, you just wanted to see the monster again, didn't you!?" Erik yelled. Christine looked close to tears, but she held strong.
"I don't know why after all these years, you still don't trust me, Erik!" She yelled. Erik groaned. "I wish I was never your angel of music!"
This comment hurt Christine deeply. She burst into tears and ran away, into her bedroom, slamming the door behind her. Erik knew he had gone too far and ran after her.
"Christine, angel, I'm sorry, please open the door." Nothing. "Christine, open the door." Still nothing.
By this time, Raoul had come back from his morning walk. "What happened? Why is Christine in her bedroom?" He asked. Erik sighed. "We had an argument and I said some things I shouldn't have, and she ran off crying into her bedroom."
"What? How could you do that to her, you monster?" Raoul curled his fists. Erik sighed. "Calling me a monster won't make her open the door." Erik growled, pounding on the door. "Christine! Open up!" He yelled.
"Well, it all started when I was a child..." Christine sniffed from the other side of the door. Raoul raised an eyebrow. "No, Christine, I think he meant-"
Erik interrupted him, holding up a finger. "Wait, let her finish. I never got to hear much about her childhood."
Raoul sighed and walked away. "I think I'll go for another walk."
