[Ozpin's POV]
Earlier on this day, I felt two
strange auras in the Emerald Forest. After this, I decided to call in Professor Goodwitch to come in here..

"You called Professor?" Glynda asked.

"Yes." I looked at her "I'm sending Team RWBY on a mission. And I want you to accompany them." I said to her.

"Is there any particular reason why?"
Glynda asked with an eyebrow raised

"I believe these two will overpower the team in the fight, so i need you to make sure they come back safely with these two" I told her showing the looks of Y/n and Kara

"How can two people like them..overpower beacon's best spirited four and what's so special about them?" Glynda asked in curiously

"I believe they'll possess abilities we never seen in Remmant. Plus, James has told me that he'll try to get these two as well. So we need to find them before Atlas does" I said

"Very well. I'll get Team RWBY ready." Glynda said, while taking her leave

I sighed at I hope these two doesn't become James's test subjects in Atlas..

[Y/n's POV]
It's been hours since me and Kara see pulled into a new world. Now I'm flying with my lantern rings on my fingers to see where we could find the nearest town to rest..

"Anything?" Kara yelled out as I landed next to her..

"there's a city, a few miles north. We should head there" I said reverting into my normal clothing, but kept the rings on.

"That's good" Kara looks at herself "but I can't go around, dressed like this"

Out of its own power, my ring started glowing, as a ball of energy appeared in my hands, then dimmed to reveal a weird case..

"Whoa.." looks at the mysterious object

"What do you think that is?" Kara asked

"Let's see" I said, before starting to open the case to reveal 12 small capsule inside..

"Capsules?" Kara questioned

"looks like we are lucky." feels paper underneath the case and unfolds it "Hey a note." I said

Both of us came close and looked at the what the paper says..

"Dear traveler's. If you came into this world, that means you are ok. Inside of these capsules will help you fit into the new world known as Remnant. Use them wisely.

We both shared a look of confusing before i took a capsule out and looked at it..

"Hmm..lets see what this thing do" i clicked the button and was about to throw it..before Kara grabbed my arm..

"Are you crazy?! We don't know what these things could do!" Kara yelled at me

"There's only one way to find out" I said freeing myself and throwing the capsule a few feet away from us. A few seconds later, the object explodes in a big poof of smoke. Luckily, Kara used her super breath to blow the smoke away. What surprised us was an robot with the Green Lantern symbol on its chest..

"I am stel of the green lantern corps. And I am here to help." Stel said kneeling before us

"A pleasure to have you with us, Stel"

"Understood, sir. Enjoy your day. I must return to the corps." Stel said before teleporting away.

"Cool. What else can those capsules do?" Kara said

"Let's look at number 3" I said taking out the numbered capsule and clicking it.

Skipping explosion..

We felt weird after the smoke cleared. I formed a constructed mirror to see what we are wearing..

And I saw what Kara was wearing..

"Cool." We both did at the same time, then laughed

"Let's see" I said, taking out capsule number 6

When the smoke clears, I saw a unique ring with Kara's supergirl logo on it..(her ring will work the same way as Barry Allen's flash costume ring)..

I picked up the stylish ring and admired it..

"Cool.." I said, then looking at Kara and throwing her the ring.."that belongs to you"

Kara then placed the ring on her index finger on her right hand..

"I believe it should work like the Flash's ring. It stories your costume in it.

"Awesome.. why do I get the strange feeling we are not alone?" Kara asked to herself

On que, we started to hear loud roaring a few feet from behind us. What we saw was a horde of monsters heading our way..

"Holy shit.." We both said
I foused my inner willpower, reverting me into a green lantern..

Kara pressed a button on her ring and a new costume came out and she pleaded it on..

"I will not be bested by a bunch of animals.." I said.

"Ready to kick some ass?" Kara said with red eyes smiling

"You bet!" I said

We then started to fly at the unknown creatures, ready to fight..

[Goodwitch's POV]
I was behind ms Rose and her team as we were heading to where those two unknown teen where in last time..

"I can't believe we are on a mission" Ruby said happily jumping a little,until yang calmed her..

"Easy little sister." Yang reassured her

"I'm just wondering how they are able to float in the air, like that. It's impossible!" Weiss retorted

"Nothing's impossible, Weiss. Everyone is special in their own way" Blake said to Weiss.

"Girls..get ready. I sense some grimm are heading this way" I said, getting my riding crop out.

[3rd person POV]
As Glynda and the rest of team rwby got their weapons out, multiple Grimm appeared out of nowhere and roared at each direction. The first beowolf charged to attack the girls, but ruby blocked the attack with the but of her scythe and sliced the Beo in half. Yang shot at a few beowolves at the head stunning them, then charges and punched them to multiple trees. Weiss switched her dust chamber to yellow for wind, then thrusted Myrtenaster at the grimm, slashing multiple targets at sight.

"Where did these Grimm come from?"
Blake said, slashing a grimm in front of her.

Glynda looks around while deflecting an swipe from an Ursa, to see a green light glowing 10 miles from them..

"Professor, what do you see" Blake asked Glynda, staring at something.

"I believe the grimm are coming from this green light. Let's go after it." Glynda suggested

Her and Team RWBY finished killing the remaining grimm and. went to the other noise. They reached it to see two random people fighting a huge horde of grimm..

"Whoa..can they actually fight this horde off by themselves?" Ruby asked

"It seems they could..But for how long..?" Weiss said

Glynda kept staring at the boys rings with an odd look..

"I wonder if he'll be like in Beacon.." Glynda thought.

[Kara's POV]
Me and (y/n) weren't even breaking a sweat fighting these unknown things. Y/n made a great sword and sliced through near them, while i used my heat vision to blow through a few of them..

"Y/n.. how are you holding up" I said, punching through the monster and throwing it near it's friends

"Never been better. Most fun i've had since i got these rings" Y/n said, shooting a energy beam from his ring

The Grimm started to come together, so none can die alone..

"They are idiots doing this in front of us. Time to use the oath.." (y/n) said

"I'll go up higher." I said flying higher

I saw him raise his first and summoned his power battery..(each lantern form he takes, his lantern changes as well)

"Let's do it.."(y/n) said, preparing his oath..

[Team RWBY's POV]
We saw the boy named (y/n) summon a lantern-like object

"What do you think he's-" ruby said before Yang interrupted her by putting her hand on her sisters mouth..

"Shh..i wanna here what he says.." Yang told her.

Professor Goodwitch and us watched and heard him say an random thing..

"In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight...

His lantern started glowing bright green, as he place his fist in the center of the kept speaking..

"Let those who worship evil's might. Beware my power--

He raised his fist at the Grimm and he finished..

Green Lantern's light!!"

Y/n then held a massive ball from his ring and fired a massive beam, causing most of the grimm to disintegrate in front of him..

Professor Goodwitch shielded herself and us with a glyph from being injured. From the explosion By the time the smoke cleared, the area was cloaked in ash..whule the grimm layed there, fading away..

"Woah..Such power" Glynda said

"Now i see why Ozpin wanted them." Blake said

"Yeah..lets go meet them" Ruby said, speeding to y/n and Kara.

"Ruby wait!" Yang said quietly, but it was futile

Glynda sighed and motioned us to follow her..

[Y/n's POV]
I was panting a little from the force of the rings energy being released. But at least..both my rings are charged. I reverted back to my original clothing and hear Kara..

"Had fun?" Kara said

I turned to see Kara floating down with a smirk on her face..

"Yes I did. Jealous?" I said proudly

Before Kara can speak, I heard another feminine voice..

???: Hey!

Me and Kara turned to see a girl with a red hood and a few others behind the girl..

"Umm..can we help you" Kara asked them

"Yes. I'm Glynda Goodwitch, and the are my students" Glynda said, while the other girls introduced themselves.

"Hello, I'm Ruby Rose" Ruby said

"I'm Weiss Schnee" She said

"Blake Belladonna" the bow wearing girl said

"Yang Xiao Long, at your service" blonde said.

"And were..TEAM RWBY!" Ruby happily yelled.

"I can see.." I said.

"With introductions out of the way, we were sent to find you two" Glynda explained

"Reall-" I was cut off as a unknown ship was hovering in the air, landing near us. The doorway opened to reveal a middle age man with gray under underneath, a girl with orange hair, some robots and some soldiers..(have no idea who the other two are in the left)

"Ms. Goodwitch..do you know this guy?" I asked her

She sighed and nods, then explained to me and Kara that he's General Ironwood of Atlas. Those are his soldiers and students next to him. Glynda then walked towards him with a stern look on her face..

"James..what is the meaning of this?"
Glynda asked.

"I saw the two fighters in forest, and how they handled the grimm out here. It's very rare to see such abilities" Ironwood explained and walked close to us. "That being said..i would like to take them off your hands"

Everyone was shocked at what he said, while me and Kara felt a little insulted..

"And what do you want with me and Kara" I asked him

"I want to exploit your abilities at my academy. Also to examine those rings you have in your hands" Ironwood pointed out my Lantern rings

"Yeahh...no. that's not gonna happen."
I said

"And for your information James, Ozpin sent us to find these two, so he can talk with them" Glynda said to him.

"Well i'm sorry, but they are coming with me." Ironwood declared

Ironwood sent his sentries to capture, but I used Spectre(wrist communicator) to hack into his droids, and make them combust in flames before dropping onto tye ground. Everyone besides Kara were surprised by my actions..

"What?! How can they be easily hacked?" Ironwood screamed

"Well..it's easy technology with little security. Anyone can hack them" I said

Ironwood tried to retaliate by bring his pistol out, but before he can, a grey haired man with a cane appeared out of nowhere..

???: That's enough, James.

''Ozpin, what are you doing here?" Ironwood said, while Ozpin walked close to him.

"I came to make sure you don't cause a scene in Vale. And to make sure you dint bring harm to these two" he said mentioning me and Kara

"Ozpin, you cannot seriously be thinking that those two not being detained?!" Ironwood said in an angry voice.

I felt someone come next to me and I looked over to see Kara standing beside me.

"James I have made my decision to have them join my academy. And with all due respect, Atlas has no say in what happens near my academy, or whom I decide to give a chance to" Ozpin said in a serious tone of voice.

Ironwood looked like he wanted to argue further but Ozpin stood up ignoring him and walking to me and Kara with a smile on his face..

"If you would follow me, Porfessor Goodwitch and my students, i would like to explain everything to both of your confusion in this world" Ozpin said.

General Ironwood sighed, knowing that he can't convince his mind and gave up..

"Alright, we'll go. But I'm be back for the Vytal Festival" Ironwood said.

He and his group went back to their ship, but the orange haired girl waves at us. The door closed, as their ship flew back to Atlas..

"Wow. He's more wiser like Batman." Kara said

"You can say that again" I said to her

Ozpin then asked us a question that change our lives..

"So. Will you two join my academy as my students" he asked us

"What do you think, Kara" I asked her, while she reverted in her normal clothing..

"I like that. Plus, it'll teach is more about this world" Kara said

"Well then, shall we be off?" Ozpin said, walking to ms. Goodwitch and Team RWBY.

We then walked back to the group before Kara said something to me..

"Can we trust them?" Kara questioned me quietly

"Well, he did save us from becoming test rats, so yes" I said to her.

I felt her leaning her head on my shoulder, while getting on my back. I held her legs to carry her, which she didn't mind..

"Feeling tired?" I asked her, resulting in a nod. "Well..this is our new life"
