(Y/n)'s POV
The next day after school, I invited Kara to my home to show her my Phantom ring. I mean, she was getting suspicious on how I get to school real early. I won't know how she'll react to this, but I had a feeling that she would think I'm being suspicious.

"Ok. I got my ring on my finger. Now i-"

I stopped speaking as i saw Kara knocking on my window. I opened it, allowing her to come inside.

"you really should use the door, like everyone else" i said

"Can't help it..this is so much more fun. Plus, your mom doesn't mind." Kara said.

"Whatever" I said

"So..you said that you wanted to show me something?" Kara said

"Oh, yeah.." shows her the ring on his finger "This is the Phantom Lantern Ring that crashed into my yard, two nights ago.

"So that's the ring Simon and Jessica told me about" Kara thought to herself "so..what's so special about it?" She asked, already knowing the answer

"Let me show you" I concentrated and formed my lantern outfit..

"Woah!" Kara said in shock

"What do you think..similar to a green lantern, huh?" I said floating in the air

"Yeah.." Kara said

Right before I was about to tell her everything else, a explosion was heard near Coast national park and i saw some idiot in a Yellow Lantern outfit, with cape causing mayhem to a pair of green lanterns and some other heroes..

"Damn, idiot. Doesn't even know how to use that ring." I turned to Kara. "You gonna be ok here, until I get back ?" I said.

"Of course..go kick some butt" Kara retorted

"Alright" I said before starting to fly to the other rings signature.
"Hopefully, no one is hurt."

"Be careful, (y/n). I help you soon" I said in my thoughts worried

Batman's POV
Whoever this lantern wannabe is, he's endangering everyone here. Each time he thinks of another emotion, his ring changes and the energy spirals out of control. Right now, he using the emotional power of Fear..

"Let's see how you like it when you fight yourselves!" The pesudo-lantern said, creating constructs made out of everyone's fear..(imagine the flash and Jason Todd constructs in this as well)

"We really need to get that ring away from him! He's gonna kill someone!" Simon said (no pun intended)

"I will show everyone that I, Frank Laminski is the greatest lantern of all!" Frank retored to the heroes

Barry used his speed to try attacking the constructs, but his yellow construct punah him with the same speed and grabbed him..

"You are a disappointment! You could save your mother, and now she's dead! All because of your cowardice" Construct flash said

"I was a defenseless kid back then, but not now" Barry kicked it in the face and jumped off.

"Why didn't you kill the Joker, huh?! How can you leave me to die?!!" A construct of Jason Todd said to Batman, which consulted of a batarang being thrown at its eye.

"The real Jason Todd forgave me years ago.." I said

"Get away from them!" Jessica fired a beam from her lantern ring and pushed the constructs back."are you two okay?"

"Yeah.. Never better" Flash responded

"Grr.. you pay for that" Frank retorted.

Before he could do anything else, a silver constructed missile was headed for Frank as it mage contact with him, sending him through a building.

???: Need some help?

I turned around to see supergirl and another lantern wielder.

???: Glad we came here on time.

I gazed at Kara, as she has a awkward look..

"I'll explain later. Right now, he have to deal with him." Kara said

"You better." I said

[3rd person's POV]
The four heroes charged at the persudo-lantern and tried to retaliate, but Frank started to glow multiple colors brightly, which blinded them..

Frank: AAAGGHH!! Not again!

The next few seconds ended with Frank floating in the air, but his uniform is.. somewhat indigo

(For anyone who doesn't know, he's speaking in the Indigo Tribe language)

"Wow. I feel...infinite compassion for everyone." looks at the main heroes "Even you six. You had every right to let me die, but you saved me. And then..Compassion bloomed into my heart. How?!" Frank calmly said.

"Why is speaking like that?" (Y/n) said

"Well, this is new" flash said

"What is he saying in that language" Jessica asked

"I want to know as well" Kara retorted.

"Shh, guys. Let this play out" Simon told everyone

"I feel compassion for your friend, Nasir! I pulled..a terrible fear out of him. I never should've done that!

"I kinda like the compassion version of this guy" (y/n) thought.

"Wait! The guardian, Ramí! You have to be careful! Volthoom has him and--I've been a terrible son--! My mother, my father, my brother and their families. I never see them." Frank said

"Wait, stop rewind..did you say Volthoom?! Answer me!" Jessica screamed at Frank

"I just realized something...Every human life is precious." Frank then created indigo constructed heads of random people "You know what? We're all unique a d special like..like snowflakes. They need someone to inspire them! They need someone to show them the way. Yes! That's it. Compassion will triumph over evil. It's all so simple!

"I'm a little weirded out" Kara said quietly

"Let him finish, kara. Maybe he'll take the ring off and we can take him down." (y/n) said quietly, making her nod in agreement

"I will be that hero for them. My heart feels as big as the world." NOK(Compassion...it makes the world go round)" Frank continued

The heroes saw Frank float down to the ground, on his knees with a apologetic look...

"Forgive me.. all of you. I just wanted a power ring so badly. I just wanted to be heroes like all of you. But i forgot what this was all about. It was about helping people." Frank sadly confessed

"This guy should have a indigo friend" (y/n) said.

Supergirl(Kara) grabs him from his ankle "Be careful, (y/n)

(Y /n) floated up and uses his phantom ring to turn into his Indigo form..(I'm replacing the staff with the second image)

"What the hell is he doing?!" Simon screamed quietly

"(Y/n)! Come bac-" Jessica said before someone stopper her talking

Batman silenced her by covering her mouth with his hand

"He may be on to something. Let's give him a try" Batman said

"Are you sure, bruce?" Simon asked

Supergirl placed a hand on Simon, making him look at her..

"He knows what he's doing. I'm sure he can convince him to remove the ring"

"..ok.." Simon calmly said

(Y/n)'s POV
I floated close to Frank and sat next to him..

"Hey man..how are you feeling?" I asked.

"Terrible..i wanted to be a lantern hero like everyone else. But instead, I caused mayhem." Frank said sadly

"I'm sure you didn't mean it" i said

"NO..I put everyone here in danger! How could i been so blind? I've caused so much pain with the phantom ring...im not ready." Frank said in a down voice

"Why not give me the ring? That way, you don't have to carry the burden of the people you've hurted?" I said

"Yes. I'll take it off right now" Frank said

[3rd person's POV]
Frank started to slide the ring off his finger and before his lantern outfit dissolved, he said.."Thanks for helping me learn from my mistakes" the young lantern said no problem, and watched him revert back to his normal clothing..

"Wait--Huh?! NO!! What have i done?!" Frank screamed

"Now, (y/n)!" Batman yelled

"Right!" (y/n) said

(Y/n) then slammed into Frank, forcefully making him drop the second phantom ring.

"My power ring!" Frank throws dirt at (y/n)'s face "Get back, brat!"

"Ughh.. crazy bastard" (y/n) said

"I got it" Jessica shouted reaching for the ring

"Don't touch it!" Frank screamed

"Wait! What do I do with it" Jessica asked

"Jessica! DON'T LET HIM GET IT" Simon yelled

(Y/n) flies up in the air and waves his arms at Jessica..

"Jess! Throw the ring to me!!" (Y/n) shouted

Jessica heard his words and threw the ring to the young hero, as he catches it in his left hand..

"That ring belongs to me..GIVE IT BACK!!" Frank screamed his heart out

(Y/n) looks at the second phantom ring and then at Frank. He then created multiple constructed tendrils to hold him to the lantern monument..

"Shut the hell up, you piece of SHIT!! You are not worthy of using the power of this ring! And for that Frank Laminski..Go to sleep" (y/n) said

As (y/n) finished talking, he sent a glowing punch at Frank's face, knocking him out. He then looked at the other ring on his hand and decided to slide it on the middle finger on his left hand..

"Nice job, (y/n). But, Where's the other ring?" Kara asked.

"On my left hand" (y/n) said, pointing to the second ring on the middle finger of his left hand

"Uhh..Are you sure it should be fine wearing two phantom lantern rings?" The flash asked

"Well..i only feel much stronger wearing these. And now, I make sure no one take these in the wrong hands" (y/n) said

"I'll be the judge of that. I suggest you come with us to the cave. Jordan should know about this" Batman said.

"I guess, since he an expert in power rings" (y/n) said

"Let's get a move on" Kara said

"Actuallty, Me and Simon have to fly to a different location" Jessica said

"Orders from lanterns Vath Sarn and Isamot Kor" Simon help finish her words

"Ok. Thanks for your help. I'll make surr to keep this lantern ring safe, like my own." (Y/n) said

" I already trust you, (y/n). Later!" Jessica said

"See ya!" Simon waved

Batman summoned his Batwing and goes inside, while Simon, Jessica flew away, leaving Kara and (y/n) started to float in the air for flight..

"So mister flash...think you can keep up?" (y/n) said with a smirk

"Kid, you have no idea who you're talking you." The flash mocked.

"Enough chit-chat! Let's head out." Jessica said

Everyone started to head where the Batwing is taking them, with a knocked out Frank in (y/n)'s arms. Unknown to him, Kara kept staring at him from what he did to remove the power ring from him..

"Maybe when we're alone, I'll tell him how I feel.." Kara thought

Timeskip to Batman's lair[Y/n's POV]

We then arrived at the cave and saw some other heroes and heroines, like Green lantern(Hal Jordan)

Green Arrow..

Black Canary

And also, Harley Quinn (I'm making her and Kara the same age as the reader, and batgirl and power girl only 2 years older)

"Howdy, boys" looks at me " Who's the new guy? Harley said pointing at me.

"Hello..im (y/n), newest Phantom lantern of Sector 2814" i pointed out

"That's the same sector i guard. How did you get those rings? Hal asked me.

"The ring on my right came from a meteor a week ago. The ring on my left came from the guy you see me carrying" I refer to an unconscious Frank

"Hmm..well after you settle him down, I wanna test you on hiw skillful you sre with a lantern ring." Hal suggested

"Sure. I can learn from an expert such as yourself" I said

"Well, i want to see what that hunk is packin~" Harley purred

"Harley!" Kara shouted

"Do they always act like this?" I asked the flash

"They're girls.. that's how they always act" the flash said

"Hm..at least they are less worse that the girls at my school" i said

Timeskip to simulation room

"This simulation room will give us a battleground of your choosing" Batman said about this room

"Hmm..how about we..fight..here?"

I point to to arena in Greek mythology with an eagle sign:

"Hmm..that will do. Show me what you're made of." Hal said

"Bring it" I said with confidence.

I focused on one emotion: Fear and my lantern outfit turned into this..

"Wha-what is this?!" Hal asked in a surprised gone

"I forgot to tell you, this rings withholds every emotion of the emotional spectrum" I told him

"The guardians would find out about this sooner or later" Hal thought to himself

I charged at the green lantern as we prepared to fight..(I'm putting this up as (Hal *green lantern vs. Y/n *yellow lantern*)

(In my opinion, this injustice 1 green lantern is better than the second version.)

Timeskip After the fight

Jordan's POV
Me and the kid were both panting from our fight..

"I have to admit.. that's some ring power" I said

"Glad I can entertain" (y/n) said

Just as we were about to relax, we heard Bruce from the intercom..

"Guys, we have a situation with the inter-dimmensional gateway. Get here, quick!" Bruce said out loud

"That doesn't sound good" (y/n) said

"Let's head over there." I spoke

"Alright" (y/n) said

We both took flight and head to the main Brother eye control room..

"It better not be Sinestro, hacking the electricity" I thought

Kara's POV
The gateway portal Barbara used in her travels was wreaking havoc everywhere..It kept pulsing strange energy, blowing stuff back..

"Ughh!!.. what can we do?" I said

" I have to get to the mainframe, and initiate a kill switch" Batman said

I saw him struggle to try and shut the gateway off manually, but something came out of the portal. A black wolf-like creature with bony platings, red streaks and red eyes..

"Holy..shit." I said at the unknown creature

The creature tried clawing at me, but I punched it back and uses my heat vision to blow it's head to smithereens..

"What is that thing?" Batman thought

More started to appear from the portal and was about to attack me without knowing, until a barrage a silver bullets attacked the creatures and they all fell limp. I turned to see (y/n) and Hal here..

"Must you always be in danger, Kara?
(Y/n) said with a smirk

"Thanks." I said.

[3rd person's POV]

The portal started convulsing violently as tendrils started popping out from the gateway..

"Get back!" (Y/n) said firing a energy beam at a tendril.

"What kind of tendrils are they?" Hal said suckerpunching a tendril back..

One of the other tendrils came and attacked the phantom lantern and threw him across multiple walls..

"Y/n!" Kara said as a tendrils wrapped around her leg, picking her up and slamming her repeatedly "Get..off..me!" She said

Kara tried using her heat vision, but it had no effect, and continued to pummel her..

Groans from his crash and sees Kara being slammed on the ground by force "Kara!!" (Y/n) tried using a hand construct to try and free her from their binds, but instead they charged at him once more and started wrapping around him, draining him of both the rings power..

"Ahh!!" Both teenagers did their best to overcome these things, but they were to strong and were about to lose e see e see 2 weconsciousness..

"Let them go!!" Hal shouted and fired a massive beam, causing the tendrils to burn off of them and let them go "Now, Bruce. Hit the switch"

Batman pressed the button on the gateway controls and was about to close it, until the portal started to turn into a vortex, pulling everything in sight..including an out cold Kara and (y/n)..

"Lantern, catch them!" Batman shouted

'On it!" Hal said

He rushed to them and created a net construct to pull them back, but the force was so strong, his willpower was not enough to hold as the net broke into pieces, leaving Kara and (y/n) being pulled into their unknown doom..

"Damn it!" Hal shouted

Batman tries to hack the controls to bring them back, but it proved futile, as he slammed his fist. Everyone else showed up and saw the damage..

"What the hell happened here?!" Dianna yelled

"Th portal malfunctioned and it took away Kara and (y/n)" Hal explained

Harley started to tear up after seeing her friends gone..

"Well bring them back..right?" Harley cried

Willy walked next to her and parted her shoulder..

"Of course we will, and don't cry. They're heroes like us. It'll take more than something like this to kill them" Willy reassured

"A better question is..where did they go?" Barry asked

[Unknown location] *(y/n)'s POV*

I started groaning after the portal incident, as I opened my eyes and got up to my feet to see that I'm in a weird forest..

"Where am i" I wondered to myself

I heard groaning behind me and I turned to see Kara in a bad shape..

"Damn! Uhh..lets see if this would work.." I said to myself

I thought of a lantern in front of .e and it appeared right before my eyes. I also changed into my Blue Lantern form to match the lantern in front of me..

I signed quietly and recited the blue lantern corps oath:

"In fearful day, in raging night,
With strong hearts full, our souls ignite.
When all seems lost in the War of Light,
Look to the stars, for Hope burns Bright!"

As I finished, a strong light surrounded kara's body, healing any wounds she has instantly. This also caused her to wake up..

"Huh?! Wha.." Kara said sleepily

I rushed to her and held her gently..

"Hey, hey..it's ok. Im here" I said

"Oh. Thanks for that...." Kara said before falling on my chest

I picked her up and flew to the air to find somewhere to lay low for the day..

[???'s POV]

I felt a strange energy emitting from my throne. I got up and called my servant, Tyrian for a objective..

"How can I help you, Mistress Salem" Tyrian asked

"I need you to go investigate on what this strange energy is emitting from" I ordered.

"Consider it done, my mistress" Tyrian said with a crazed smile

He left to the objective I sent him, and I had a thought..

"Whoever this person is, should be a wonderful suitor as my king" I said with a mischievous smile on my face..

*second*[???'s POV]

I was staring at the window in my office as I felt two strange auras emiiting in the forever forest

???: Professor..did you felt that strange energy?"

???: *sips his mugs* Yes I did, Glynda. And I have a feeling that we'll be able to see what caused it.

Glynda: *adjusts her glasses* Professor Ozpin. Are you sure you want to? I mean, it could be-

Ozpin: *turns to her with a small smile* Of course. You're excused, glynda. I wish to be alone.

Glynda: *sighs* very vell. *takes her leave*

Ozpin: *to himself* whoever you are, I hope we meet someday.
