"Today,we will be learning defense against a magical creature called a boggart.A boggart changes form to look like what scares you the most.However,you can overcome the boggart by using the spell 'Riddikulus',which turns your worst fear,into something impossibly funny." the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor said to the class composed of Hufflepuffs and Slytherins.He walked up to a wardrobe."Now who's first?".The class took turns with the boggart,using the spell "Riddikulus" to turn it into something so funny,the whole class was wiping away tears.Until it came to be Dan's turn.Dan stepped forward,his wand ready,the wardrobe opened and out stepped...Phil?Dan was confused for a moment...until "Phil" started speaking."I really regret you,you know.You're pathetic." the boggart said."You've wasted so much of my time.".Dan's wand trembled and he felt tears start to run down his face.Somehow this boggart knew his worst fear.The thing that kept him up at night:That Phil never truly loved him.The boggart looked at him with cold blue eyes,that looked so much like Phil's,but at the same time nothing like his."Did you ever think I'd actually love a Slytherin?".Dan was truly crying now.He realized somewhere in his mind that this wasn't really Phil,but his fears and self-doubt caused him to think that the boggart couldn't possibly be anything else but Phil.Phil could never love a Slytherin like Dan.That angel could never love such a demon.Then Dan felt a hand on his shoulder,pushing him back protectively."Riddikulus!" he heard a voice shout.The voice of the boy he loved so much.He heard the sound of the boggart stuttering and twitching,walking into things and saying random things.Dan looked at Phil.His Hufflepuff angel.The taller boy threw his arms around Dan,as the younger cries into his shoulder.He held Dan tightly and protectively."None of it was real." the Hufflepuff assured."I think you're incredible.".Dan didn't care at the moment that the entire class,including the professor was staring at them.All he cared about was that Phil loved him.Phil cupped his hands around Dan's face and kissed him.Dan kissed back,keeping his arms around Phil."I love you so much." he mumbled.Phil smiled into the kiss,mumbling "I love you more."
