Dan p.o.v

I woke up on the floor. I remembered my whole experience with Phil and the dream world. It was beautiful, but then I remembered mum and Adrian.

I got up and dashed to Adrian's room to see him on the internet browsing some random games.

"Adrian, what happened?"
"I've been locked in my room dads still downstairs with mum. Dan you okay? You just went away to your room a second ago."

"I'm fine Adrian, is mum still with dad?"

"I don't know I've been in here the whole time..."

I hugged Adrian before running downstairs. Still the same position, nothing really changed. Phil was right the real world freezes. Then I heard a police siren. Help was finally coming.

My dad jumped off my mom and glanced at me before grabbing a knife from the counter. "No!" mum yelled weakly.

He began to walk towards me, "Fucking warned you and you didn't listen. Now I'm after that boy, ass!" He yelled.

I winced at his breath, "Don't touch Phil..."

"Fuck you, he'll be dead in 24 hours. I know people, I warned you Daniel."

I cringed, "You...please don't hurt him!!" I begged.

The door to my house flew open and they grabbed my dad pulling him off me. "Sir you're under arrest for hurting a minor and a teenager and wife," the cop hissed.

"I'll fucking kill him Daniel you hear me!! I'll kill that mother fucker! And I'll let you watch!!!" He yelled before being dragged away.

"No you won't," I whispered. I helped my mom up and she began sobbing. I held her closer and closer.

"He will," was all my mom said.

She was right, dad knows people. They will find Phil, and they will make me watch as they kill him. It will be too late for him, so I have to make sure that won't happen.
