When Felix was right in front of the door to leave the adoption center, he stopped and just stared outside with wide eyes. It was like he'd never seen outside before. Eventually I had to push him outside, and when he was finally outside, he inhaled deeply and looked around.
The car ride was even more interesting. He sat in the back seat, looking at and touching everything he could find. I had gone to Chick-Fil-A right before I went to the adoption center, and I gave him a chicken nugget, y'know, to see what he'd do. At first, he just looked at it like it was an alien from mars, then he sniffed it.
"You eat it." I said, smiling at him through the rear view mirror. His ear twitched, and he took a smal bite of the chicken. He seemed to really like it, because he immediatly ate the rest of it, smiling a little. He looked at me, blushing faintly.
"Do... Do you... Have more?" He whispered quietly, having a bit of an accent. I smiled and handed him the box of the chicken, as well as a thing of fries. He smiled widely and his ears went up, as did his tail.

~At Ryan's house~

When we ha finally made it to my house (the Neko adoption thing was an hour away) he slowly got out of the car and looked at my house, his tail wrapping around his waist and his ears going down.
I walked up to the door and opened it, gesturing for him to go inside. He looked up at me, and slowly walked into the house, unsure of what to do.
"Welcome to Mi Casa!" I said, walking inside and shutting the door. The Neko looked up at me, raising an eyebrow a little.
"That means welcome to my home." I said, smiling at him. He just looked away from me and started walking around, looking at everything. He walked into the living room first, looking at the tv I had accidentally left on, seeming fascinated by it.
"What... Is this?" He whispered quietly, touching the tv.
"It's called a tv. You've never seen one before?" I said, walking over to him. He moved away from me a little, and I frowned.
"I'm not gonna hurt you." I said softly, reaching for his ear and gently scratching behind it. He purred and unwrapped his tail from around his waist and moved it from side to side. He's so cute!
After I explained to him what a tv was and showed him the rest of downstairs, I started walking upstairs, but he didn't follow me.
"Come on." I said, looking back at him. He shook his head and backed up a little, holding on to the end of his tail.
"Why not?" I said, walking back downstairs.
"I'm not... Allowed upstairs." He said, looking at me, then looking upstairs. I sighed.
"You might not have been allowed to to upstairs at the adoption center, but here, you can go wherever you want." I said, smiling and grabbing his hand, starting to pull him up the steps. He just looked down at our hands, blushing a little.
After I showed him the bathroom and my room, I showed him the room he'd be staying in. He looked around, running his hand over the dresser and looking out the window, and then looked at the bed.
"That's... That's for me?" He said, pointing to it. I nodded, smiling brightly.
"The best one in the house, I think." He walked over to it and sat down onto it, kind of sinking into the mattress.
"I've never... Been on... One of these before... I've never had one..." He said, shifting so now he was laying down on it.
"Really??" I asked, walking over to the bed. Felix curled up into a ball, holding onto his tail.
"Mhm..." He said, rubbing his face against the pillow. I smiled, and somehow managed to pull the blanket over him.
"You're probably tired, so I'm going to let you take a nap." I said, smiling slightly. He just nodded and started purring quietly. He was really tired, I assume. I kissed his head, and left the room, turning off the light on my way out.

Fun Fact: Snow Leopards hold their tails in their mouths, kind of like a baby would hold onto their blanket. It's like a thing of comfort and provides some warmth. Felix just holds onto his tail, instead of holding it in his mouth so... Yeah.

I'm thinking about continuing this as like a book, yknow?
