I get woken up to my curtains getting pulled open making sunlight come in my room. "Liv get up. You're gonna be late to school." I groan rolling over putting the covers over my head. "Don't make me have to put a stop to the Grey's Anatomy or Criminal Minds, ice cream and wine late nights." Jenna said making me quickly sit up. "I'm up. I'm up. Don't take away Mark Sloan, Derek Shepherd and Derek Morgan." I say and she laughs. "Care should be here soon, so you should get up and start getting ready." Jenna said and I look over at my clock. "Shit!" I get up and run to my closet. "Auntie J, why didn't you wake me up earlier?" I ask "I've been trying for the last 30 minutes. Figured I would try the curtains before the water." Jenna said.

After getting ready I walk downstairs. "Toast. I can make toast." Jenna said handing me my coffee. "You are a lifesaver." I say "It's all about the coffee, Aunt Jenna." Elena said "Is there coffee?" Jer asked "Your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared. Lunch money?" Jenna asked "I'm good." Elena and I say in sync so Jeremy grabs it. "Anything else? A number two pencil? What am I missing?" Jenna asked "Auntie J, don't you have a big presentation today?" I ask "I'm meeting with my thesis advisor at... now. Crap!" Jenna exclaimed "Then go. We'll be fine." I say "Love you three!" Jenna said "Love you too." The three of us say in sync. Elena turns to Jer. "You okay?" Elena asked "Don't start." Jeremy said and I hear a series honks outside. "That's Care. Jer you want a ride?" I ask taking the last drink of my coffee. "Yeah." Jer said and we go out the door.

We get in Cares car. "Hey babes." I say "Hey. Two black coffees." Care said "I love you." I say grabbing the coffee taking a drink of it. "She's already had one cup this morning." Jeremy said "Okay and?" Care laughs. "Auntie J threatened to take away Grey's Anatomy and Criminal Minds." I say and Care gasped. "Not Derek Shepherd." Care said "I know! That's what I told her and she just laughed." I say "She only said that so you wouldn't be late to school." Jeremy said "Jer! Who's side are you on?" I turn to look at him and he holds his hands up in surrender. Suddenly a song comes over the radio. "Turn it up!" I say and all three of us start screaming the lyrics out. All of a sudden a crow hits the window making me gasp going into a trance remembering the accident. "Oh my god. Liv, are you okay?" Care asked but it was very faded. "Liv? Liv? Hey, Liv?" Jer asked and it snapped out of the trance. "I'm okay. I'm okay." I say "Are you sure?" Jer asked "Yeah. I'm okay." I say still a little bit in shock. We soon get to school and we go our separate ways.

After class I go out in the hallway. "Jeremy, good batch, man." A random guy said and I see Jeremy walk in the boys bathroom. Elena follows him so I follow her. "Whoa! Pants down, chicks." A guy exclaimed "It's probably not that impressive." I say and he blushes before hurrying out of the bathroom. "Great. It's the first day of school and you're stoned." Elena said and I roll my eyes at her. "No, I'm not." Jeremy said "Where is it? Is it on you?" Elena asked patting him down to try and find his stash. "Stop, all right? You need to chill yourself, all right?" Jeremy asked "Chill myself? What is that, stoner talk? Dude, you are so cool." Elena said "Look, stop!" I push Elena away from him. "If he says he doesn't have any on him then he doesn't." I say "Are you crazy?" Jer asked looking at Elena. "You haven't seen crazy, Jeremy! I gave you a summer pass, but I'm done watching you destroy yourself like Liv did. No, no, no, you know what? Go ahead. Keep it up. But just know that I'm going to be there to ruin your buzz every time, you got it? Jeremy, I know who you are. And it's not this person. So don't be this person." Elena said "I don't need this." Jer said walking out. "Wait, Jer-" I say but get cut off by the door shutting.

Elena turns to look at me and I cross my arms leaning against the wall knowing where this is going. "I get you hate me for some reason but why couldn't you back me up there?" Elena asked "Because Elena! I use to be Jeremy and hell parts of me want to relapse to make the pain go away! You're on his ass about quitting like you're his fucking mom. New flash Elena you're not his mom, your his sister so quit trying to be. Elena, quitting isn't fucking easy." I say "I know that." Elena said "No, you fucking don't Elena! You don't know the amount of times I almost wanted to kill myself because of withdraw. You don't know anything about what Jeremy is going through to quit or even what I went through. You're the perfect daughter, perfect friend and sometimes even the perfect sister. Me? I'm the defective druggie twin that nobody wanted. So don't stand here judging me, when you killed them." I say

"What? No, I didn't. Dad swerved to avoid something in the road and we went over a guardrail into the water." Elena said "But who fucking called them? Who called them because of a fight with their boyfriend? Who forced them on the bridge that night? Oh right. It was you! If you wouldn't have called them that night they wouldn't have been on the bridge. They would still be here. So congratulations Elena for murdering our parents." I say walking out bumping shoulders with a guy but keep walking. "Uh, pardon me. Um... is this the mens room?" I hear the guy ask me and I instantly turn around when I hear the voice. Once I know for sure that it's him a smile breaks out on my face. "Stefanie." I say walking towards them. He meets me and I wrap my arms around him and he does the same back. "Hey, Liv." Stefan said and I back up. "Why didn't you mention that you were going to be in Mystic Falls on our phone call last night?" I ask and I could feel Elena staring holes into us. "It kinda slipped my mind." Stefan said "Well. It's still nice to see you. I got to get to class and away from my sister who's basically burning holes into us staring at us." I say and he smiles laughing.

"Once our home state of Virginia jointed the confederacy in 1861, it created a tremendous amount of tension within the state. People in Virginia's Northwest region had different ideals than those from the traditional Deep South. Then Virginia divided in 1863 with the Northwest region joining the Union." Tanner said and that's when I feel my phone vibrate. I look down and it's a text from Bonnie to Elena and I. "HAWT-E STARING @ Elena." Bonnie texted and Elena looks over at Stefan and he's the one staring at her. I scoff quieting making him look at me. "Stefan, don't you remember what happened with Katherine? And trust me, looks are not the only thing my sister has in common with Katherine." I whisper quietly knowing he could hear me.

Vicki walks over to Matt, Tyler and I's table at the Grill. "Thanks Vick." Matt said "Do you need another refill?" Vicki asked looking at Tyler. "I'd love one." Tyler said "Can I get a thing of cheese fries too please?" I ask and she nods walking away. "Please tell me you're not hooking up with my sister." Matt said "I'm not hooking up with your sister." Tyler said "He's totally hooking up with your sister. And she's hooking up with my 15 year old little brother." I say and Tyler looks at me with a slight glare. "You're such a dick." Matt said looking at Tyler. I see Jer walk up to Vicki causing me to use my vampire hearing to listen in on their conversation.

"Look, Jeremy, I really appreciate all the pharmaceuticals, but you can't keep following me around like a lost puppy." Vicki said "When's the last time you had sex with a puppy?" Jer asked "Hey, keep it down. I don't want to tell the whole world I deflowered Elena's kid brother." Vicki said "Yeah, and deflowered and deflowered." Jer said "We hooked up a few times in a drug haze. No different then Liv and I. It's over. You gotta back off before you ruin things between me and Tyler." Vicki said and my eyes go wide. "You hooked up with my sister? But come on, the guys a total douche. He only wants you for your ass." Jer said "Yeah? What do you want me for?" Vicki asked and I see her walk away. "I'm gonna go talk to Jer. I'll be right back." I say and I get up walk over to him. "Jer." I say and he got closer to me. "You hooked up with Vicki?" Jer asked "In my defense it was some of the times I was drunk or high or both. But I heard your conversation with her. Vicki Donovan, really?" I ask "You can't really judge." Jer said "You know I don't judge you Jer. Elena, I will judge and you know she'll do the same to us in a heartbeat. But Vicki only cares about the drugs not about you. I'm gonna go play pool with Tyler." I say kissing his cheek. As I'm walking away one of the waitresses walks up with my cheese fries. "Thank you so much." I say smiling at her before walking away to Tyler.

"Was there any reason you told Matt about Vicki and I?" Tyler asked "By the way you said it he already knew. I was just confirming it for him." I say "Jeremy is hooking up with Vicki?" Tyler asked "He was yeah. Over the summer. You don't know how many times he called me while I was in New York talking about it. I actually feel sorry for the poor boy because I think he's in love with her and she only cares about him for the drugs. It's honestly kinda like how you don't actually care about her." I stand in front of him and I could tell he wasn't really listening to what I was saying. "Because honestly if you did then we wouldn't do what we do." I see Care waving me towards where she, Bonnie, Elena and Stefan were sitting. "I gotta go, Care wants me to sit with them while she interrogates the new guy." I lean close to his ear so the humans around us wouldn't hear. "Maybe later you can come by the house." I say before walking away.

Stefan looks over at me when I'm walking towards them. There's no more seats at the table so he moves his seat back so I can sit on his lap. I lean against his chest as Care starts her interrogation. "So, you were born in Mystic Falls?" Care asked "Mm-hmm. And moved when I was still young." Stefan said "Parents?" Bonnie asked "My parents passed away." Stefan said "I'm sorry. Any siblings?" Elena asked "None that I talk to. I live with my uncle." Stefan said and I laugh quietly making Stefan nudge me. Care smirks at me making me roll my eyes. "So, Stefan if you're new, then you don't know about the party tomorrow?" Care asked "It's a back to school thing at the falls." Bonnie said and Stefan looks down at me. "Are you going?" Stefan asked and before I could answer him, Care answers for me. "Of course she is." Care said smirking at me making me roll my eyes.

A couple minutes later Tyler walks over to us. I was still sitting on Stefan's lap when he walks over. "Hey, Liv. Ready to go?" Tyler asked and I instantly understood what he meant. "Yeah. Let's go." I say getting up off Stefan's lap. "Wait, where are you going?" Care asked "Back to mine. To rewatch Iron Man and eat ice cream." I say and she smirks slightly. "Have fun." Care said and I grab Tyler's hand dragging him with me. "Rewatching iron man?" Tyler asked laughing. "That's mine and her code for what we're really about to do so she don't come to the house." I say "Wait. She knows?" Tyler asked "You left marks and before I could cover them up she saw them. Had to explain how I got them." I say lying cause anything he does heals.

"The Battle of Willow Creek took place right at the end of the war in our very own Mystic Falls. How many casualties resulted in this battle? Ms. Bennett?" Tanner asked "Um.. a lot? I'm not sure. Like a whole lot." Bonnie said "Cute becomes dumb in an instant, Ms. Bennett. Mr. Donovan. Would you like to take this opportunity to overcome your embedded jock stereotype?" Tanner asked "It's ok, Mr Tanner, I'm cool with it." Matt said "Hmm. Elena? Surely you can enlighten us about one of the town's most significantly historical events?" Tanner asked "I'm sorry, I-- I don't know." Elena said causing me to laugh quietly. "I was willing to be lenient last year for obvious reasons, Elena. But the personal excuses ended with summer break." Tanner said "There were 346 casualties, Unless you're counting local civilians." Stefan and I said in sync.

"That's correct. Olivia and Mister..." Tanner said trailing off wanting Stefan's last name. "Salvatore." Stefan said "Salvatore. Any relation to the original settlers here at Mystic Falls?" Tanner asked "Distant." Stefan said causing me to laugh quietly. "Well, very good. Except, of course, there were no civilian casualties in this battle." Tanner said "Actually, there were 27, sir. Confederate soldiers, they fired on the church, believing it to be housing weapons. They were wrong. It was a night of great loss. The founder's archives are, uh, stored in civil hall if you'd like to brush up on your facts. Mr. Tanner." Stefan said "hmm." Tanner said

When I get home Auntie J is sitting at the table. She has a envelope in her hands and a box on the table. "Hey, Liv. Your mom and dad told me to give this to you if something ever happened to them. I just found it when I was cleaning in their room." Auntie J said "What is it?" I ask "I don't know. You'll have to read it." Auntie J said handing everything to me and I go upstairs.

If you are reading this letter it means something has happened to me and your mother. Your mom and I decided to write these letters to you and your sister incase something happened to us before your eighteenth birthday. We told your Aunt Jenna that if something did happen to us then to make sure you got your letter right after we passed and to not give your sister hers until her eighteenth birthday because we knew you would be able to handle it better then she would. There's not a great way for us to tell you this so we are just going to do it. You and Elena are adopted, your birth mother's name is Isabelle Flemming and your birth father is actually your uncle John. Isabelle was a sixteen year old runaway that left you two at the clinic after she gave birth and since no one would question it because of my clinic, your mother and I decided to make you both our own. Please do not tell Elena until your Aunt Jenna gives her the letter meant for her.

The stories that John and I told you about vampires, witches and werewolves are true. You and Elena are doppelgängers, which means that you have someone that looks exactly like you both. Her name is Katerina Petrova, but she goes by Katherine Pierce now. The things in the box will help to protect you against vampires and werewolves. Vervain is to protect you from vampires, you can put it in a drink or jewelry. It causes them to not be able to compel you. Wolvesbane is to protect you from werewolves, the flower will burn them. Shelia Bennett is a witch and Bonnie will soon be one.

I am only telling you this because when you were about thirteen, you came to your mother and I telling us that you were seeing these two ghosts named Kol and Finn. At first we thought you just had imaginary friends that appeared very late until you described them to us. We decided to take you to Shelia immediately, she placed a spell on you so that you could no longer see both of them. We have to decided to tell you this in our letter so you can go to Shelia to have the spell removed. We are so sorry that we went to the extent that we did but the men you described to us were vampires and we didn't know what it meant. I hope you can forgive us for everything we put you through in the time that we were alive.

After reading the letter I go downstairs with the box and the jewelry that came in the box. "Auntie J!" I say "Yes Liv?" Jenna asked "Need help. The box had vervain and as you know I can't safely touch vervain." I say and lay the two bracelets and the necklace that comes with the box on the table. "Who are these going to?" Jenna asked "The necklace is yours, the leather bracelet is Jers and other bracelet is Cares. I'll try and figure something else out for Elena." I say even though I didn't want to. Jenna careful puts the vervain in and on the jewelry. "And done." Jenna said "Thank you. Now put some of the vervain in your perfume so you'll wear it too." I say and she nods. I grab the bracelet for Jeremy that Jenna wrapped up in a paper towel and carry it to his room and he wasn't there. I quickly take it off the paper towel hissing when it burns my skin before sitting it on his desk grabbing a sticky note I write him a note.

I walk out of his room and to mine to get ready for the bonfire tonight that I am going to after leaving Miss Shelia's house.

I walk up to her front door and she opens it before I can even knock. "Hello, Child." Shelia said "Hey, Miss Shelia. I found my parent's letter and they told me to come here after reading it." I say "Of course. I take it you know what I am then?" Shelia asked "Yes ma'am, I do. I'm also assuming you know what I am?" I ask "Yes, I do. But let's not talk about that out here. Do you promise to only come inside when invited by myself or Bonnie?" Shelia asked "Of course. I would not think of hurting you or Bonnie." I say

"Then you may come in." We walk in the house and she shuts the door behind me. "How did it happen?" Shelia asked motioning to the seat in front of her once she sits down. "After I got out of rehab in New York, I was walking down the street and a guy tried to rob me but I didn't have anything on me, so he stabbed me. A vampire named Elijah got to me right before I died and gave me his blood, but I died anyways. I couldn't leave my family after what happened to my parents so I went through with it. Haven't drunk from a human since I transitioned, I use blood bags. I only killed the guy that killed me." I say leaving out the other random guy Elijah brought to me.

"I will remove the spell. You may not see them for a little while or you may see them right away. It will all depend on if they are currently here or not. Let me have your hands." I hold my hands out to Shelia and she takes them. She starts chanting in Latin but I can't make out what she's saying. Once she's done she released my hands. "It is done. Remember it may not be immediate." Shelia said "Thank you." I say "Of course, Child. Can I ask a favor of you?" Shelia asked "Of course, Miss Shelia. What is it?" I ask "If Bonnie is brought into this supernatural mess, which if she taps into her magic then she most likely will. Can you watch over her? Make sure nothing happens to her?" Shelia asked "Of course Miss Shelia. You have my word that nothing will come to Bonnie as long as I can help it." I say "Thank you. Now I'm sure you would like to get to the Bonfire so I won't keep you, but it was nice seeing you." Shelia said and we stand up. "It was nice seeing you as well." We walk to the door and she opens it for me. "Thank you again for this." I say and she nods shutting the door as I go down the steps.

I was sitting near the bonfire by myself. Elena and Bonnie are standing near me. "People look up to me. I have to set an example." Elena said and I scoff. "Just admit it, Elena." Bonnie said "Oh, okay, so he's a little pretty." Elena said and my eyes go wide. "He has the romance novel stare. Stefan looked deep into her eyes, piercing her very soul. So where is he?" Bonnie asked "I don't know. You tell me, you're the psychic one." Elena said and I turn to look at them. "Right, I forgot. Ok, so give me a sec. Grams says I have to concentrate." Bonnie said "Wait, you need a crystal ball." Elena said and hands Bonnie a beer bottle. Bonnie takes it and touches Elena's hand. "Ahh." Bonnie said "What?" Elena asked "That was weird. When I touched you, I saw a crow." Bonnie said "What?" Elena asked "A crow. There was fog, a man. I'm drunk. It's the drinking. There's nothing psychic about it. Yeah? Ok, I'm gonna get a refill." Bonnie said and she leaves. "Damon." I mumble when she said fog and a crow. "Ok. Bonnie!" Elena exclaimed.

I feel someone watching me and turn my head towards the direction to see two guys with older time period outfits standing at the edge of the woods. One looking older than the other. I assume these guys are the Kol and Finn that I started seeing when I was thirteen, not that I remember. I don't remember a lot from my childhood and that started after the accident. The one with shorter hair waves me over so I get up and walk towards them. "It's so good to see you again, Darling. I'm Kol." Kol said once I reach them. "I agree with my brother. I'm Finn." I keep walking past them. "Where are you going?" Finn asked as they follow me deeper into the woods. "The people of this town already think I'm insane. Can't let them see me talking to myself." I continue walking until I can't see the party anymore. I stop and turn to look at them. "Have you been able to see me this entire time even if I can't see you?" I ask

"Yes we have." My eyes go wide. "But we are able to leave your side in small distances. So we spent a lot of that time exploring Mystic Falls and New York when you were there." Finn said "Do you remember when we first came to you?" Kol asked "Not really. My dad told me about you two and what Shelia Bennett did when I first started seeing you both. I only found out about the spell today and got it removed. I'm hoping they start coming back to me now that the spell is removed but I don't want to get my hopes up because I don't remember much of my childhood since the accident." I say "Well the one thing that we did not tell you before you could no longer see us because you were a child was that we are your soulmates." Kol said "That would explain so much. Now we can talk about this at my house later. I want to go enjoy the bonfire." I say and they nod.

I walk back to the bonfire and sit where I was earlier. Finn and Kol are leaning against the wooden fences behind me. Elena and Stefan are talking nearby. "You know, you're kind of the talk of the town." Elena said "Am I?" Stefan asked "Mm-Hmm. Mysterious new guy, oh, yeah." Elena said "Your sister seems so weird." Kol said and I laugh quietly. "Well, you have the mysterious thing going, too. Twinged in sadness." Stefan said "What makes you think that I'm sad?" Elena asked "Well, we did meet in a graveyard." Stefan said "Right. Well, no, technically we met in the men's room. You don't want to know, it's... It's not exactly party chit-Chat." Elena said "Well, I've never really been very good at, uh, Chit-chat." Stefan said "Last spring, my parents car drove off of a bridge into the lake. And Liv and I were in the backseat and we survived, but... they didn't. Liv has hated me ever since she woke up after the accident and I have no idea why. So that's my story." Elena said "You won't be sad forever, Elena." Stefan said and I see Jeremy follow Vicki and Tyler into the woods. "Damn it, Jeremy." I say getting up following them.

"No, Ty. I'm not having sex against a tree." Vicki said "Oh, come on, it would be hot." Tyler said "And this is the guy you've decided to be sleeping with?" Finn asked and I roll my eyes ignoring him. "For who? No, it's not going to happen. It's not going to happen, not here, not like this. No. I said no. I said no! Ow, that hurts!" Vicki said "Hey, leave her alone." Jeremy said "You know, you're starting to get on my nerves, Gilbert." Tyler said "Just go, Tyler, get the hell away from me." Vicki said "Wow. Vicki Donovan says no. That's a first." Tyler said "Tyler just go." I say and he walks away. "I didn't need your help." Vicki said "It seems like you did." Jeremy said "He was just drunk." Vicki said "I'm drunk. Am I throwing myself at you?" Jeremy asked "No, you're worse. You want to talk to me, get to know me, see into my soul and screw and screw and screw until you're done with me." Vicki said "Is that what you think?" Jeremy asked "That's what I know." Vicki said "Vicki you're the one fucking screwing with him. You're fucking with his head, just like you fucked with mine. You are the cause of him not being able to come clean. He's a fucking 15 year old kid, he doesn't know any better but you are a fucking adult. You need to grow the hell up." I say before walking away. "Tell her Darling." Kol said following me and I laugh. "Shut up." I say but have a smile on my face. "I'm glad you're finally standing up for yourself against her. You'd don't deserve to be treated like that by her." Finn said

I go find Care to give her the bracelet Auntie J put vervain in for me. I find her talking to someone. "Care." I say and she turns smiling at me. "Liv, hey. What's up?" Care asked "I got you a present. Saw it at the store and thought it screamed Caroline Forbes." I say "Ooh present." She unwraps the tissue paper that I wrapped it in so it wouldn't burn me. "It's so pretty." She launches herself at me hugging me making me laugh hugging her back. "Thank you." Care said "You're welcome Care." I say "I'm gonna go find and talk to Stefan." Care said before walking away.

I sit on one of the wooden fence things and lean up against the post holding it together and I hear Elena and Matt talking. "Looking for someone?" Matt asked "Hey." Elena said "When you broke up with me, you said it was because you needed some time alone. You don't look so alone to me." Matt said "Matt, you don't understand. It's--" Elena said "That's ok, Elena. You do what you have to do. I just want to let you know that... I still believe in us. And I'm not giving up on that." Matt said "Matt..." Elena said and Stefan walks over to Elena after Matt walks away. "I was wondering who abducted you, but now I know." Elena said "Is she like that with, uh, all the guys?" Stefan asked "No. You're fresh meat. She'll back off eventually. Hmm. God, you gotta be kidding me!" Elena exclaims and I look in the direction she's looking and see Jer. "What is it?" Stefan asked "My brother." Elena said "The drunk one?" Stefan asked "That would be the one. Excuse me. Liv please come help me." Elena said and I jump down from where I was sitting. "Fine." I say walking past her. "Need some help?" Stefan asked "Trust me, you're not going to want to witness this. Jeremy! Jeremy!" Elena exclaimed as we follow him into the forest.

"Jeremy, where the hell are you going?" Elena asked "I don't want to hear it!" Jeremy exclaimed "Yeah, well, too bad!" Elena yelled back and Jeremy falls on top of something. "Vicki? No! Oh, my god, it's Vicki!" Jeremy yelled "Oh, my god!" Elena said "Hurry but be careful picking her up Jer." I say having to look away feeling the veins under my eyes come out. "Darling you need to get out of here." Kol said "Ástin mín, I agree with Kol. You need to leave before something happens." Finn said and I calm myself down and I turn back around.  "No!" Jer said over the fact she'd hurt. We go back to the party with Vicki in Jers arms. "Somebody help!" Elena yells "Vicki? Vicki, what the hell?!" Matt exclaimed "What happened to her?" Tyler asked "Somebody, call an ambulance!" Matt said "Everybody back up, give her some space!" Tyler said "It's her neck. Something bit her. She's losing a lot of blood." Elena said and someone handed Matt something. "Put this on her neck." Someone said "Vicki, Vicki, come on, open your eyes, look at me." Matt said and I look up and see Stefan walking away.

I start to walk away to follow him but Jer grabs my arm. "Where are you going?" Jer asked "All if you got it covered. I'm just in the way." I say hugging him before walking to my car. I drive to the Boarding House. I knock on the door and Zach opens the door. "Oli-" Zach said and I cut him off. "I know he's here, let me in." I say and he nods letting me in. I go upstairs and to Stefan's room where I feel that he's at. "Stef, Zach let me-" I say but am cut off by Stefan putting his finger over his mouth to quiet me looking at the balcony. "Damon." Stefan said and that's when I see Damon on the balcony. "Hello, brother." Damon said "Crows a bit much, don't you think?" Stefan asked "Wait till you see what I can do with the fog." Damon said "And I thought Nik was dramatic." Kol said "When did you get here?" Stefan asked "Well, I couldn't miss your first day at school. Your hairs different. I like it." Damon said "It's been 15 years, Damon." Stefan said "Thank god. I couldn't take another day of the nineties. That horrible grunge look? Did not suit you. Remember, Stefan, it's important to stay away from fads." Damon said "Why are you here?" Stefan asked "I miss my little brother." Damon said "You hate small towns. It's boring. There's nothing for you to do." Stefan said

"I've managed to keep myself busy." Damon said "You know, you left that girl alive tonight. That's very clumsy of you." I say and Damon looks over at me and smirks. "Ah. That can be a problem... for Stefan." Damon said "Why are you here now?" Stefan asked "I could ask you the same question. However, I'm fairly certain your answer can be summed up all into one little word... Elena." Damon said "Of course because she's the perfect everything." I say rolling my eyes. "You need to stop comparing yourself to your sister, ástin mín. You are better than she'll ever be." Finn said making me smile slightly. "Stop it!" Stefan said to Damon. "Imagine what her blood tastes like!" Stefan starts vamping out. "I can." Damon said "I said stop!" Stefan yells and launches at Damon and they both go through the window. I use vampire speed to speed down to the ground.

"I was impressed. I give it a six. Missing style, but I was pleasantly surprised. Very good with the whole face--- thing. It was good." Damon said "You know, it's all fun and games, Damon, huh? But wherever you go, people die." Stefan said "That's a given." Damon said "Not here. I won't allow it." Stefan said "I take that as an invitation." Damon said "Damon, please. After all these years, can't we just give it a rest?" Stefan asked "I promised you an eternity of misery, so I'm just keeping my word." Damon said "Just stay away from Elena." Stefan said "Where's your ring? Oh, yeah, sun's coming up in a couple of hours, and, poof, ashes to ashes. Relax. It's right here." Damon throws Stefan his ring. As soon as Stefan puts his ring back on, Damon grabs him by his shirt and throws him against the wall. "You should know better than to think you're stronger than me. You lost that fight when you stopped feeding on people. I wouldn't try it again." A light turns on in the house. "I think we woke Zach up. Hmm. Sorry, Zach." Damon said "He's a bunny eater?" Kol asked and I nod slightly.

-time skip-

I was sitting on the couch drawing when Elena came downstairs and go to the door. She opens it and there stood Stefan. "I know it's late. But, uh... I needed to know that you were ok." Stefan said "He really wants her?" Kol asked "You know, for months, that's all anyone's wondered about me. If I'll be ok." Elena said causing me to roll my eyes. "What do you tell them?" Stefan asked "That I'll be fine." Elena said "Do you ever mean it?" Stefan asked "Ask me tomorrow. It's warmer in the house. We can talk. Would you like to come in?" Elena asked "Yes." Stefan said and he entered the house."Hey Stefanie." I say "Hey Liv." Stefan said "Try not to be too loud please." I say looking from Elena to Stefan and Elena goes red causing me to smirk.

Once Elena and Stefan go upstairs, Auntie J comes downstairs. "Auntie J and Liv night?" I ask "I was coming to ask you the same. You go get the ice cream and I'll get the wine." Auntie J said "I'm gonna go get me a blood bag out of my room." I say "Make sure you put it in a cup incase one of them come down." Auntie J said "Already ahead of you Auntie J." I say running to my room grabbing a bag before running back downstairs. I grab the ice cream and spoons before sitting in the couch with Auntie J. "Criminal Minds or Greys?" Auntie J asked "Greys." I say taking a sip of the blood. Auntie J starts the tv show handing me a spoon and I get comfortable beside her. As Auntie J and I are watching Greys, flashes start playing through my mind. The flashes are of thirteen years old me in my room with Kol and Finn. They are telling me about what they are, their family, and the fact that their brother Niklaus or Klaus as he is more commonly known daggered them a long time ago and that the way I am able to see them is that a witch on the other side spelled them so that I can communicate with them. I gasp quietly when the memories are over. Kol and Finn are Elijah and Klaus' brothers and I'm mated to my sires brothers.
