I'm watching Criminal Minds in my room talking to Kol and Finn when the doorbell rang. I hear Jer go to the door and get it. "Hey. It's gonna be $22." The delivery guy said "Elena, Liv, I need the money!" I roll my eyes wincing a little. I pause my show and go down the stairs after Elena. Kol follows me downstairs. "Uh, here. Come in. Just put it on the table." Jer said and I face palm a little. I come down the stairs and immediately stop when I sense a familiarity about him. He looks at me when he notices I stopped. "Vampire." Kol said from beside me. "Hi. Um... keep the change." Elena said handing him the money. "Thanks. And you two have yourselves a good night." The delivery guy said and Elena shuts the door. "Creep." I say "Liv, he was just being nice." Elena said "Still creepy." I say and she goes back upstairs. I walk over to Jer smacking his head a little. "Ow! What the hell was that for?" Jer asked "Really Jer? "Uh, here. Come in". Dude you know we don't invite random people in this house. Who knows who could be vampires?" I ask quietly "I didn't get that vibe from him." Jer said "If you didn't know about me, would you believe I was one?" He doesn't say anything. "Exactly. Now I just have this feeling that I'm gonna have to kill a mother fucker again." I say

I go up to Auntie J's room and knock. "Come in!" I walk in shutting the door back behind me. "Hey, Liv. What's up?" Auntie J said moving over so I can crawl in her bed beside her. "The pizzas here but I had something to talk to and ask you about." I say "Okay, what's up?" Auntie J asked "I'm thinking of telling Care about the supernatural and I want your opinion on it." I say "Do you believe that she can keep it a secret?" Auntie J asked "I believe she can yes. If I tell her how serious of a secret it is. I trust her and I don't want to lie to her." I say "Then tell her. Is she coming over for the dance to get ready?" Auntie J asked "Yeah. We're getting ready here and she's going with me." I say "Then tell her then just make sure Elena can't put her two sense in like she does with everything else that doesn't concern her." Auntie J said "Thank you, Auntie J." I say hugging her before leaving her room shutting the door back.

Damon is throwing books around in the library where I'm laying on the couch staring up at the ceiling waiting for him to get done. I hear footsteps come in the library and I know that it's Stefan. "What are you looking for Damon?" Stefan asked "Not your concern." Damon said "No. But putting Elena and Liv in harm's way, that is my concern." Stefan said and I scoff quietly from the couch. "Hmm. What are you talking about?" Damon asked "I'm talking about Atlanta." Stefan said "Oh, yeah. The twins and I had a blast. Liv and I most of all. Right, Liv?" Damon asked "Hell yeah." I say sitting up and leaning over the back of the couch causing Stefan to look at me. "I get it. You're just bitter because one of us gets to be with the person that we love and poor Katherine is just out of reach. Unless there's another way for you to get into that tomb. Is that what Bree said?" Stefan said and I laugh a little. "You're pathetic when you're fishing." I say "And you're both transparent when you're deflecting." Stefan said and I scoff. "Don't you have school?" Damon asked and Stefan walked away.

Care and I are walking together outside when Elena walks up to us. I zone out of the conversation for a little bit until I smell vervain. I quickly look at the two and see that Care had a new necklace on. "It's so pretty. Thank you. God, it'll go with, like, everything. Like the bracelet Liv gave me. What's the occasion?" Care asked and we sit down at the picnic table. "Liv gave you a bracelet?" Care and I nodded. "But no occasion. Just a little friend gift." Elena said "Lesbian friend necklace? Cause we're freaky like that?" Care asked winking at Elena. "Care, you know no one can't beat my lesbian friend bracelet." I say laughing and she laughs to hugging me. "You're right. Who else would I have a not married by 30 get married to each other pact with?" Care asked and we laugh again. "Ástin, why didn't we know about this pact?" Finn asked

"Your friendship is important to me." Elena said causing Care and I to quit laughing. I roll my eyes knowing Elena forced herself into the conversation like she always does. "Why are you being so mushy?" Care asked "Because you've been avoiding me and I wanted you to know that whatever is going on with you and Matt, it's okay." Elena said and I scoff rolling my eyes. Care slightly elbows me in the rib cage. "I was gonna talk to you about that. I was, but there's just not much to say. You know, we've hung out a couple times. That's it, but... I just feel like we've peaked as friends. This is weird. I shouldn't be talking to you about this. It's weird. It's weird, right?" Care asked looking between me and Elena.

"Not a bit. Then again I wasn't the one who dated Matt Donovan." I say "That's because you're hooking up with his best friend and his sisters ex boyfriend." Care said "Not my fault he liked to fuck me more than Vicki." I say and she laughs a little. "It's a little weird, but... if it's what you and Matt want, then it's not about me." Elena said and I gasp in fake shock. "Elena Gilbert saying something isn't about her for once? Has hell froze over?" I ask and Elena glares at me so I smirk back at her. "But it's all about you. Matt's not over you, and we all know it." Care said "I'm with Stefan now." Care immediately grabs onto my hand squeezing it to warn me not to say anything knowing that I have another insult circulating in my mind that I want to say. "Matt understands that. He knows he has to move on." Elena said and I look at Care and roll my eyes.

Care and I are at the Grill in the back corner away from everyone and most importantly Bonnie and Elena. "What's up you said it was urgent?" Care asked "I wanted to talk to you. To let you know that I wanted to talk to you about something important when we get ready for the dance so we're not out in public but you have to completely promise me that you cannot say what I'm going to tell you to anyone especially not Elena or your mom." I say "Why? Whats so bad that you have to make me promise not to say anything? Which I wasn't going to anyways but still." Care said "Because if Elena finds out I told you, she will try and control your life and if your mom finds out then she might quite literally kill me." I say and her eyes go wide and she nods. "Then I most definitely 100 percent won't say anything." Care said "Good. And I knew you wouldn't but I just needed to be sure." I say "I have to do something but how about Greys Anatomy at yours in like an hour?" Care asked "Yeah most definitely." I see Elena leaving. "I'll just catch a ride home with Elena and then you can come whenever you want." I say "Sounds good. Bye, love you." Care said "Love you too." I get up and follow Elena. "Hey can I get a ride home?" I ask "Yeah but I'm going shopping for my outfit for the dance first." Elena said "That's fine. I gotta pick some stuff up too." I say

Elena and I are walking out to Auntie J's car that Elena is driving because of the wreck when Elena's phone rings. "Hello?" Elena asked answering the phone. "Hello, Elena." The guy on the phone said "Hey, who's this?" Elena asked "You hit me with your car and your sister attempted to scare me off." Elena stops and looks at me. "Is that a new one?" The guy asked and I look over to the steps and I see him walking up them. "Get the fuck in the car Elena." I say and cause my vamp face to come out. "You got away from me. You won't next time." The guy said and Elena gets in the car. "Stay the fuck away from my sister asshole!" I jump in the car and Elena speeds off. I look at him as we're speeding by and I notice it's the pizza delivery guy that Jer invited in. "Fuck." I say "What?" Elena asked "Just drive to the boarding house. I need to talk to the boys." I say

I'm once again laying on the couch of the Salvatore Boarding House listening to Elena talk. "Why me? What does he want with me? And- and if he's trying to kill me, then why call first?" Elena asked "That's because we're predators, Elena. We hunt. We stalk. It's often as exciting as the kill." I say "I want you to take this." Stefan said and he hands Elena Jers watch. "This is Jeremy's pocket watch. How did you get it?" Elena asked "I took it from Damon who took it from Logan who must have taken it from you." Stefan said "What happened to it?" Elena asked "Well, it's not just a watch. It's a, it's a sort of compass but it points to vampires. It probably won't work that well when you're at home around Liv but it will still help." Stefan said and they watch the compass go crazy before pointing slightly past Stefan proving that there's more than one vampire in the room. "Why did our father have it?" Elena asked "Gilbert's were one of the founding families. And back in 1864, they were among those who sought to eradicate the vampires. The compass was used to find them." I say "Stefan, did you know them?" Elena asked "Yes. I want you to keep this. That way, you'll know if you're ever in danger." Stefan said and they kiss so I get up and walk out the boarding house and vamp speed home to drink blood before I have to go to the school and deal with a lot of humans.

I hear Elena walk in the house and Auntie J walking around the living room. I get up and go sit on the stairs. "Spoke to the insurance company. The car's totaled. You can keep using mine for now." Auntie J said "So you're coming to the dance?" Elena asked "Alaric asked me to help chaperone." Auntie J said and I feel the tension in the room get worse so I get up and walk down the stairs and stand beside Auntie J who's leaning against the coach. "Why didn't you tell me, Jenna?" Elena asked and Auntie J stops smiling. "Your mom was gonna do it on your guy's 18th birthday. Even wrote letters incase something happened to them. I never thought I'd have to." Auntie J said and I loop my arm through hers.

"If my mom were here right now and I asked, she'd tell me the truth." Elena said and I scoff rolling my eyes. At that moment Care walks through the door with her spare key. I walk over to her and she shuts the door. "Just go on up. I'll be there in a minute." I say and she nods. I walk back over to Auntie J's side. "Your dad was about to leave the office one night when this girl showed up. She was 16, a runaway and about to give birth to twins. He delivered her babies, and gave her a place to stay but a few days later, she disappeared. And there the two of you were. Your parents were trying to hard to have a baby. It-it just wasn't happening. All Miranda ever wanted was to be a mom." Auntie J said and I scoff quietly at the irony of that.

"Well, why were our parents names on the birth certificates?" Elena asked "Dad was a doctor, Elena. He most likely took care of it." I say "They didn't want to lose either of you, so they kept it quiet. Told as few people as possible and if anyone ever wanted proof they had documentation." Auntie J said "What else do you know about her? The girl." Elena said "Just her name. Isobel." Auntie J said and I walk upstairs to my room where Care is laying on my bed. "So what was that about?" Care asked rolling over facing me. "Hang on." I listen for Elena to go into her room. "Elena and I are adopted. Our birth mother is some woman named Isobel Flemming and our birth father is our Uncle John. But Elena only knows Isobels first name and that's it. My parents wrote me letter telling me everything." I say "So Elena doesn't know everything? Only that the two of you are adopted and your birth mothers name is Isobel?" Care asked "Yup, that's about it." I say "Wow. So what was it that you wanted to tell me that is so bad that my mom would "literally kill you"? Because I know it's not the whole thing about you being adopted." Care said

"Yeah it's not. Do you remember the stories that my dad and Uncle John used to tell us?" I ask and she nods. "About the vampires?" Care asked "Yes, the vampires." I say "Yeah, I do but what's that got to do with this?" Care asked "Promise you won't freak out?" I ask "I promise. Now what the hell is going on?" Care asked and I look down and make my vampire eyes come out. I slowly look up and at Care. "The stories are real. I'm a vampire. So is Stefan and Damon." I say and Care walks towards me and lightly touches the veins under my eyes causing them to go away. "That's so cool! But why would my mom try to kill you and why would Elena try to control my life?" Care asked "The honors council is actually used to hunt vampires. In 1864, when Damon and Stefan were human." I say before she interrupts me. "Damn! They old as hell." Care said and I laugh and so does she. "As I was saying there was an honors council in 1864. It was comprised of a Gilbert, Forbes, Fell, Lockwood, and Salvatore. That is how it is with my parents, now Uncle John, your mom, Tyler's parents, Zach Salvatore, now Damon, and used to be Logan Fell until I killed him. So if anyone from that council except Damon found out then I would probably be dead before next week." I say

"Why is Damon on a council that wants to kill him and people like him?" Care asked "To my understanding to keep them away from him, Stefan and myself. But if Elena found out you knew she would have Stefan or Damon take your necklace and your bracelet away from you and have one of them compel you to forget. That's what she attempted to do with Jer when he found out because a vampire Vicki attacked him and Elena and I killed her but she didn't know he had a bracelet that is the same as yours. I gave you a bracelet that has vervain which is harmful to vampires and can keep them from compelling you. Elena's necklace does the same thing. I gave you the bracelet and didn't explain the use for it until I worked up the courage to tell you the biggest secret I have. I doubt Elena will ever try to tell you about anything." I say

"Well I'm glad you trust me enough to tell me. Now let's start getting ready for this dance and talk about something else." Care said "Of course." I move to sit at my vanity to start my makeup.
"Also I should tell you this too. The mystery guy I was talking about?" I look at her through my mirror and she nods. "I lied about him to an extent." She goes to say something but I stop her. "I lied because when I was thirteen, I started seeing these two guys named Finn and Kol. I told my mom and dad about them and they took me to Sheila Bennetts for her to get rid of them. The Bennetts are witches and yes, Bonnie is one too. Well after I went to Miss Sheila's, I could no longer see them until the day of the bonfire this year. I found out about the spell in a letter from my parents and had Shelia remove it." I say "What does this have to do with mystery guy?" Care asked "I'm getting there, be patient." She rolls her eyes smiling. "Well during the bonfire I started seeing them again. Turns out they are two of the earths original vampires and they are my soulmates." I say and she looks at me shocked.

"So mystery guy is actually mystery guys, plural and it's Kol and Finn?" Care asked "Yeah basically. They were daggered by their brother and that is why only I can see them." I say "Are they here right now?" Care asked "No, you don't have to worry. They're following another vampire in town." I say "So if Kol and Finn exist then why are you and Tyler being more open with whatever you two are?" Care asked "I don't really know what we are. When I got back from New York besides you, he was the only person I talked to or hung out with. Then one thing led to another and we fucked. Then he got with Vicki but we kept whatever it was going and I know I should feel bad about causing him to cheat on Vicki but she was the reason I had to go to rehab and the reason why Jer is now a druggie. Plus she was cheating on him just as much as he was cheating on her. I was there when his dad was being a dick or abusive and he was there after mom and dad died. So I don't really know what we are but I'm thinking of calling it off because of Kol and Finn." I say

"Do you love him?" Care asked "Of course I do. He's my best friend other than you." I say moving towards where my dress is hung up at. "You know that's not what I meant. Are you in love with him? Ignore the soulmate aspect and ask yourself if you are in love with Tyler Lockwood." Care said  "What's going on with you and Matty Blue?" I ask changing the subject. "I see you're trying to switch the subject. Okay I'll let you if you're not ready to admit to yourself that you're in love with Tyler Lockwood. But there's nothing going on between Matt and I. We're just friends unlike you and Tyler." I roll my eyes. "Do I want there to be more? I don't know yet." Care said and I walk in my bathroom to change but leaving the door open. "So moral of the story we're both fucked and confused about our love lives?" I ask "Yeah basically." Care said and I walk out of my bathroom.

"So I should tell you that there's a vampire that looks like she could be mine and Elena's identical triplet because we're her doppelgängers. Which means that Kol and Finn's brother Klaus will be coming to find Elena to use her in a sacrifice to break his curse. I can't be used because I'm a vampire." I say "Wait there's someone else that looks like you?" Care asked "Yup. As far as I know she's the only one but I'm not entirely sure." I say as I finish getting ready.

"Hey, Jenna. Jenna? Jeremy? Liv?" Elena asked and I roll my eyes. After about a minute Elena comes busting through my door. "Damn Elena. Knock." I say "I need to talk to you." She looks over at Care. "Alone." Elena said and we walk out into the hallway and I shut the door. "What is it?" I ask "The compass is going crazy." Elena said "It's a vampire compass. You have a vampire sleeping two doors down from you." I say "It wasn't doing this before." Elena said "Okay. Call Stefan. I have to finish getting ready for the dance." She nods going back to her room and then going down the stairs. I go back to my room. Kol appears in my room facing the door away from us. "Kol? Why are you here?" I ask "Kols here?" Care asked "She knows?" Kol asked "Yes she knows. I just told her and you can turn around, she's dressed." He turns around to face me. "What's going on? You were supposed to be following the vampire." I say "We were. He's in the house." Kol said and I suddenly felt another presence in the house.

"Stefan must be here. Thank you." Elena said and I grab the stake from my closet. "What is going on?" Care asked "Kol watch downstairs please." I say and he nods before disappearing. I rush to the bathroom that is between mine and Jers room and lock the door to Jers room and the one to mine. "Liv, answer me." Care said and I stop in front of her. "I need you to lock this door behind me and do not let anyone in but me." I say and she nods going to the door as I go out and I stand at the door until I hear it lock and rush down the stairs. I get downstairs as soon as someone drops from the ceiling grabbing Elena making her scream. "Elena!" Stefan yells and I vamp speed over to the guy throwing him over the couch. "Now I'm going to have to fucking kill you!" I yell and he yells out of frustration and vamp speeds out of the house and I go to follow him but remember Care being upstairs.

Elena and Stefan immediately hug. "You okay? Are you okay?" Stefan asked and I roll my eyes. I run back up stairs knocking on the door. "Care it's me." I say and she opens the door and I quickly go in and shut it back. "I heard screaming. What's going on?" Care asked and I put a finger over my lips and point downstairs. "Elena saw a really big spider and it scared her but Stefan came in and killed it." I walk over to my bathroom unlocking and opening the door. I turn the water on and motion for her to follow me. "A vampire came and attacked Elena. Stefan and I got him out but I'm gonna walk you to your car and as soon as you get in lock your doors and leave." I say and she nods so I turn the sink off and we walk downstairs and I follow her to her car and she shuts her door and I hear it lock then she turns her car on and leaves.

I walk back into the house and towards the living room and Damon joins me. "What did you tell her?" Elena asked "That you saw a huge ass spider and Stefan killed it." I say "Wow thanks Liv." Elena said "Well it's not like I could tell her "oh that was just a vampire that came to kill Elena because she hit him with her car" or you would be controlling her life like you do Jeremy's." I say "Well, how did he get in?" Damon asked "He was invited in. He posed as a pizza delivery guy last night." I say "Well, he gets points for that. Did he say what he wanted?" Damon asked "No. He was too busy trying to kill me." Elena said "And you have no idea who this is?" Stefan asked "No. Don't look at me like that. I told you we had company." Damon said "You think there's more than one?" Elena asked "We don't know." Damon said "Damon... he was invited in." I say "Then we go get him tonight. You up for it?" Damon asked "What do I have to do?" Elena asked "Let your boyfriend take you to the dance. We'll see who shows up." Damon said "That's a bad idea." Stefan said "Till I get him, this house isn't safe. For anyone who lives in it. And I'm not letting some rando vampire that most likely went after her because of her uncanny resemblance to your lovely ex girlfriend and the fact she's human kill Auntie J and Jeremy." I say "It's worth a shot." Damon said "I'll do it." I can tell Stefan doesn't like this idea so Elena grabs his hand in comfort. "I'll be with the three of you. I'll be safe." Elena said

I get to the dance before Elena, Stefan and Damon. I'm dancing with Caroline and Bonnie when they walk in looking awkward. After awhile Caroline and Bonnie drags me over to Elena. "Having fun?" Elena asked "Mmm, no. But this took about two hours so I'm at least staying half of that." Caroline said "What's Damon doing here?" Bonnie asked "He wanted to come. I promise. He'll behave." Elena said "So what is this, like, a threesome now you and the Salvatore brothers?" Care asked and I choke on my drink trying not to laugh. "No, but if I'm gonna be with Stefan then I have to learn to tolerate Damon. It's not like I can kill him." Elena said "There's a thought." Bonnie said "Mmm. I'll help." Care said "I'll be right back." I say walking over to the brothers. "Liv, nice of you to join us." Damon said putting his arm around my shoulder when I get to them. "Seen anything?" I ask "Not yet." Damon said

Elena and Damon go get Elena a drink. "You wanna dance?" Stefan asked "What happened to your little girlfriend?" I ask "I want to spend time with you. You've been attached to Damon's hip." Stefan said "Fine. Come on Stefanie." I say and he grabs my hand dragging me to the dance floor. As Stefan and I are dancing, I'm looking for the vampire. "You see him anywhere?" Stefan asked "Not unless he has a pompadour." I say and Stefan scoffs a little. "Well, it was not one of the better fashion trends." Stefan said "Oh, come on, I'm sure you looked great back then. Are there pictures?" I ask "No. Burned. Buried." Stefan said "Seriously, what was it like? The 50s. Because in my mind I have this picture of somewhere between.... American Bandstand, Grease. It's all varsity sweaters and milkshakes." I say "Well, that and, you know, McCarthyism and segregation, the nuclear arms race- -" Stefan said before I cut him off. "Okay, but there were poodle skirts." I say "There were poodle skirts." Stefan said twirling me making me laugh. "You are teaching me how to do the Hand Jive." I say "No, that's not gonna happen." Stefan said "Aw... Damn, Stef." I say

I'm standing beside Damon who's leaning against a table. Elena and Stefan are dancing. Mr. Saltzman walks up to us. "Hey, Olivia." Mr. Saltzman said "It's just Liv, Mr. Saltzman." I say smiling. "Liv, of course. Hey, I don't recognize you. How'd you get roped into chaperoning?" Damon looks at him weirdly. "Alaric Saltzman. I'm the new history teacher." Mr. Saltzman said and they shake hands. "Oh, the cursed faculty position." Damon said and I smirk little bit. "So I've been told." Mr. Saltzman said "Damon Salvatore." Damon said "Salvatore? As in, uh, Stefan?" Mr. Saltzman asked "He's my little brother. I'm his legal guardian. Hence, the chaperoning." Damon said "I hear he's very bright, not that I've had a chance to see for myself." Mr. Saltzman said "Well, his attendance records a little spotty. Family drama." Damon said "No parents?" Mr. Saltzman asked and I tense a little beside Damon at all the questions. "It's just the two of us now." Damon said "You, uh, live here your whole life?" Mr. Saltzman asked "On and off. Travel a bit." Damon said

"Really? Where? Around the States?" Damon looks at him. Mr. Saltzman laughs. "I'm sorry. I'm nosy. I don't mean to pry. Look, it was nice meeting you." Mr. Saltzman said "You too." Damon said "Enjoy the rest of the dance. See you in class Liv." Mr. Saltzman said and I nod. I wait until he is out of earshot to turn to Damon. "That was incredibly suspicious." I say "Yeah that it was. Keep an eye on him for me?" Damon asked "Course. Now you want to scope for the vamp?" I ask "Sure. You know, you should dance with Stefan again. You actually looked like you were having fun." Damon said "I was, it's been weeks since Stefan and I have been able to hang out since he's got back with Elena. It was nice to spend time with him even for a little bit." I say and I see Elena and Stefan walking back over to us. "Why aren't you dancing with anyone Liv?" Elena asked "Ty isn't here and slow songs isn't really Damon and I." I say "You are right about that one." Damon said "Come on. I'll take you. You should at least attempt to enjoy the dance." Stefan said "Fine." I say and he once again drags me to the dance floor.

"Maybe he's not gonna show." I say "You mean we did all this dancing for nothing?" Stefan asked "Oh, the horror." I say laughing. "I'm really sorry for all this." Stefan said "It would've happened either way. You and him are just here incase she needs extra protection. So I don't wanna hear you apologizing anymore." The song changes and I smirk at Stefan. "Show me how it's done in the 50s." I say "Uh, no." Stefan said "Come on. One move?" I ask and he shakes his head. I sigh turning around to go get Damon who will dance with me when Stefan grabs my arm twirling me back around to face him before picking me up and dipping me on one side and the other. I gasp in shock before he pulls me up and sits me on my feet. "Now you remember that because it's never gonna happen again." Stefan said and I laugh.

Damon and I are dancing and he grabs my hand leading me and I start laughing. "Quit laughing." Damon said smiling at me. "I'm sorry I can't help it." I say "You really can't take him anywhere, can you?" Elena asked "Uh, no." Stefan said "Liv looks really happy. I haven't seen her happy in a while." Elena said "Yeah me either." Stefan said "Stefan. The back corner." Elena said and I glance that way and I see the guy. "Damon." He looks at me while we're dancing. "We gotta go. Back corner." I say and I let go of Damon to follow the guy but Stefan looks at me and shakes his head. I move over to Elena instead of following Stefan. "He's here." Elena said "I know. I heard you. Now you're going to see me do something tonight that you've only seen me do once. Be ready for it." I say and she nods. Then her phone rings.

"Hello, Elena. Here's what you and your sister is going to do. There's an exit door behind you two. You have five seconds." The guy said "No." Elena said "Or your brother dies. I can snap his neck so fast, I bet there's not even a witness. Now start walking." The guy said and I take the phone from her. "You touch him and I swear to you that I will do things to you that will cause you to be begging me to kill you and end your pathetic existence." I say making my vampire face flicker staring at him. "Keep walking. Through the door." The guy said ending the call. "Come on." I grab her hand and we run out of the door and as soon as we turn the corner I wrap an arm around her waist. "Hold on." I vamp speed us to the door and shove but put it doesn't budge. "Damnit!" I yell knowing I don't have time to shove it open and we run through the door into the cafeteria. We try other doors when he walks through the door we came through. He vamp speeds over to us and throws me across the room and as Elena goes to run away from him, he yanks her back to him by her hair. "Fuck." I say coughing and I get back up as he throws her over a table and shoves her against the wall.

She stabs him with pencils in the stomach as he goes to bite her. He pulls it out and she shoves another one in his hand. I vamp speed over to them shoving him away from her. She quickly breaks a mop and before I can even take it from her, he goes towards her and he stops her going to bite her. I quickly throw him across the table and to the ground. Stefan appears beside me and Damon is across from us holding a mop handle. "Hey, dickhead. Nobody wants to kill you. We just wanna talk." The vampire comes running back towards us and Damon throws me the makeshift stake and I catch it shoving it in the vampires stomach very close to his heart when he comes off the table and he falls to his knees. "Now you feel like talkin?" I ask "Screw you." The guy said and I grab the stake twisting in. I stare into his eyes smirking. "Wrong answer. Why are you doing this?" I ask "Because it's fun." The guy said and I shove the stake higher. "What do you want with Elena?" Stefan asked and he looks from me to Elena and back to me. "They both look like Katherine and she acts like her." The guy said and I back up a little. "You knew Katherine?" Damon asked "Oh. You thought you were the only ones. You don't even remember me." The guy said "Tell me how to get in the tomb? Hmm?" Damon asked "No." I move the stake and he groans. "The Grimoire." The guy said "Well, where is it?" Damon asked and I move the stake again before looking back at Damon. "Check the journal. The journal." I sense someone watching us and I slightly look up and I see a teenage girl who I knew had to be a vampire because she wasn't freaking out. "Jonathan's journal." The guy said

"Jonathan Gilbert?" He nods and I hang my head a little. "Fuck!" I whisper "Who else is working with you?" Stefan asked and I hear a door open and I look up to see the girl run off. "Who else is there?" Damon asked "No. You're gonna have to kill me." He said and I look at the boys and they nod. I lean closer to his ear looking at the door the girl was just at. "You're right about one thing. I am like Katherine and you should ask yourself how long it will take me to find your little girlfriend that was watching us. Cause when I do, you will be seeing her very soon." I whisper to him and lean back grabbing the stake and pulling it out of his body. He groans as I pull it out and I shove it right back into his chest but this time in his heart. I smirk slightly as I twist the stake making him groan and I drop him to the floor as he desiccates.

Elena starts gasping. "Wait, wait... what do we.. How are you gonna find the others now?" Elena asked and I smirk a little knowing I'll have one soon. "He had to die." I say "But..." Elena said and I roll my eyes. "Elena... he's been invited in." I say and I hear the door again. We all look at each other. "You two go. I got this." Stefan said and Damon and I walk out of the door and see Mr. Saltzman walking down the hallway. Damon and I appear in front of him. "Hey." Mr. Saltzman said "What were you doing?" Damon asked "Looking for Ms. Hilden." Mr. Saltzman said "Why are you in Mystic Falls?" Damon asked compelling him. "I got a job as a teacher." Mr. Saltzman said "Do you know what I am?" Damon asked "You're my students brother. She's my student." Mr. Saltzman said and I tense. "Is everything you're telling me the truth?" Damon asked "Yes." Mr. Saltzman said "Then forget we had this conversation." Damon said and we walk away. I glance back slightly to see him looking down at his hand and that's when I notice a ring that looks exactly like Uncle Johns well I guess my fathers. We keep walking until we get around the corner. "Damon." I say stopping and he looks down at me. "Liv." Damon said "You asked him "do you know what I am" not "do you know what we are" and he added me to the answer. He shouldn't have done that if he was compelled and then he looked down at his hand as we were walking away. He knows more than he says. He wasn't compelled." I say "Then keep an eye on him. Make sure he doesn't say anything and figure out who he is." Damon said "He has a ring that is exactly like my father that's my uncle. The exact same ring. That's not common." I say "What could be a common link between the two?" Damon asked "I have no idea." I say and we meet Stefan in the hallway.

"No way that idiot is working alone." Damon said "You are." Stefan said "Not technically. I'm helping him." I say "So the Grimoire... it was Emily's, right? That's what you need to reverse the spell. When the founding families burned her, they took her things and you were hoping that dad's journal would tell you where it is." Stefan said "Look at you, puttin the pieces together. Good for you. I was half-right. Well it's our there now. Let the games begin." Damon said "My offer still stands." Stefan said "Yeah, with some hidden caveats, no doubt." Damon said "No. Nothing hidden about it. No lies. No deception. I'm there when you open up that tomb. You and Katherine go. And the other 26 vampires die." Stefan said and I can hear the lie in his voice. I glare at him slightly knowing this isn't going to end well. "If I agree?" Damon asked "I'll help you." Stefan said "And why the hell should he trust you?" I ask stepping slightly in front of Damon. Stefan looks at me before looking at Damon. "Because I'm your brother." Stefan said "No, that's not gonna cut it." Damon said "Because I want you gone." Stefan said and I turn around to look at Damon and he looks down at me. "Don't do it." I whisper and he just looks at Stefan. "Okay." Damon said and I look down.

-time skip-

Finn and Kol are sitting on each side of me on the couch. "Are you sure you're okay?" Finn asked "I'm sure." I say and I hear Auntie J and Mr. Saltzman walk up the steps and stop on the porch. "Thank you. I needed that." Auntie J said "Well, thank you for-for coming. I-I really appreciate it. You made the evening much more... Well, you made it. Period." Mr. Saltzman said "I'm glad I could help." Auntie J said "And thank you for putting up with all that wife talk. I, I gotta stop doin that. It... doesn't bode well for dating." Mr. Saltzman said "Is that what this was, a date?" Auntie J asked "No, definitely not a date. But Friday. You, me and dinner and a movie. That could be a date. How about it?" Mr. Saltzman asked "Works for me. Uh, you can talk about your wife all you want. It's gonna take time to heal. We should just be ourselves." Auntie J said "Still, I think I'll keep the Isobel talk to a minimum." Mr. Saltzman said and I tense. "Isobel?" Auntie J asked "Yeah. That was her name." Mr. Saltzman asked "Where was Isobel from?" Auntie J asked "Virginia. I mean, not too, not too far from here, actually." Mr. Saltzman said and I stop listening.

Auntie J walks in a little while later. "Were you listening?" Auntie J asked "I heard him talking about his wife that was coincidentally named Isobel. Do we think that his wife is mine and Elena's birth mother?" I ask "It could be a possibility." Auntie J said "Well in that case and the fact you two are going out on Friday you should know that he probably knows what I am." I say "What do you mean? How?" Auntie J asked "He was asking Damon all of these questions about where Damon and Stefan grew up and if Damon had been around the states. Hypothetically speaking I think Damon is the reason his wife is dead and I think he's a hunter." I say

I'm up in my room about to go to the roof and call Katherine when I hear Elena and Stefan talking. "I need to tell you something. And I don't know how you're gonna feel about it." Stefan said "What?" Elena asked "I told Damon that I'd help him get into that tomb to get Katherine back. But it was a lie. I let him believe that he could trust me. Where he would believe me over Liv." Stefan said "Well, then why would you be worried about telling me?" Elena asked "Because he can be very persuasive and you two have... bonded lately." Stefan said "That doesn't mean I trust him. It's gonna take a lot more than just a road trip and a rescue for me to forget who Damon is and everything he's done." Elena said "I don't wanna be his enemy, Elena but I can't let him and Liv do it." Stefan said "Then don't. And I'll help you, whatever it takes. Okay?" Elena asked "Okay." I scoff quietly. I walk downstairs and out the door. Stefan comes out behind me. "Are you going to tell Damon?" Stefan asked "Tell Damon what? Are you feeling guilty about something Stefanie? If you must know I'm going on a walk. I've been around humans for long enough for today." I say and walk away from him. I get a little ways from the house and I text Damon.

I just heard Stefan tell Elena
that him agreeing to help you
was a lie.

Day
So him and Elena are
going to screw us over?

Liv
Yup. Just like I figured
he would. Said that he
cannot let us do this.

I start walking again until I end up around the grill. I see Ben locking the door of the grill and see a girl watching him. I step into the shadows and watch her follow him until she used vamp speeds growling at him attempting to attack him and Ben moves just as fast slamming her against the wall. "Don't sneak up on me." Ben said "You love it." The girl said and that when I notice it's the girl that was watching us. "Where's Noah?" Ben asked "His obsession got the best of him. And so did the Salvatore brothers and Olivia Gilbert." The girl said and I assume that the guys name that I killed was Noah. "They killed him?" Ben asked "Olivia toured and staked him." The girl said "You're not very upset." Ben said "I warned him, Ben. And he was just gonna screw everything up anyway. Let's be honest. He wasn't exactly an asset. How'd you do?" The girl asked "Oh. The witch is totally crushing on me. Did you get the journal?" Ben asked "No. But I know where it is, and I'll get it." The girl said and they kiss before walking away together. My phone vibrates so I look down at it.

in the bathroom. but I'll be

I vamp speed home and walk through the door to see Elena and Stefan on the couch still. I walk up the stairs and to Jers room. I knock and he lets me in. "Hey." We go to the bathroom and I turn on the sink and he shuts the doors that connect mine and his rooms. "So what's up? What's so secretive we got to do this?" I ask sitting on the counter. "You remember that girl I told you about? Anna." Jer said and he sits opposite of me. "Yeah that one that helped you write your paper for Saltzman about vampires?" I ask "Yeah her." Jer said "What about her?" I ask worried about where this conversation was about to go. "I think she is a vampire. Her eyes did what yours do." Jer said and I show him. "This?" I ask "Yeah, exactly that." Jer said "Tell me what you know about her." I say "I don't know that much but I do know that she is obsessed with the Gilbert journal. She keeps asking me about it." Jer said "The pizza guy you invited in was a vampire. I had to kill him tonight and he told us to look in the Gilbert journal on how to get in the tomb under the old Fell church. I saw a girl with brown hair watching us but wasn't freaking out. I think that is the girl you're talking about. Jer, I don't want to put you in danger but I need to know what she's up to." I say

"Well as of right now she doesn't know I know. I can keep the act up and tell you if anything happens. But you should know that Mr. Saltzman has the journal." Jer said "If the littlest thing happens, I want to know. And as for Mr. Saltzman, I'm pretty sure he knows about me now and that his dead wife is mine and Elena's birth mother." I say "Damn. Wait how does he know about you?" Jer asked "Damon and I heard noises when we were talking to the pizza vampire guy and Damon and I went to check it out and it was Saltzman and Damon compelled him but he had vervain in his hand and we didn't know till we were gone." I say "So watch out for him too? Got it." Jer said and we both get off the counter and I turn the sink off. "Basically yeah. Now I have to go make a phone call. I'm going to go to the roof." I say and he nods. I go out of the bathroom and go to the roof through my window. I listen and hear that Stefan isn't here so I call Katherine waiting on her to pick up.

So what is this call about?

Do you know a vampire that
might go by Anna? She would
be obsessed with opening the
tomb that you're supposed
to be in.

Maybe. I turned a girl named
Annabelle and her mother. If
it's who I think it is then her
mom is in the tomb.

Ollie
Then that's her. She's trying
to use my brother to get the
Gilbert journal to find the Bennett
witches Grimoire.

Kat
She will most likely try and use
your sister or brother to
wake her mother up because
Jonathan was the reason she
was put in the tomb.

Ollie
Great so I have to kill another
vampire to protect my family.
I've already had to kill one named
Noah because he was obsessed
with you and Elena and I look like you.

Kat
Yeah there will be a lot of those.
Have you seen any signs of
Klaus Mikaelson?

Ollie
No not yet. I don't think anyone
knows we exist yet.

Kat
Well be ready for it to come
soon.

Ollie
I do have a question though.
Was Isobel the wife of
Alaric Saltzman before she died?

Kat
Yeah I believe so. Why?

Ollie
Well great. I guess my
step father if that's what you
could call him now knows
that I am a vampire. And
I believe that he has come
to Mystic Falls to kill Damon.

Kat
That would be possible because
Damon is who turned Isobel. But
he would've seen Damon kill her.

Ollie
She's a vampire? Great that will
be an awkward ass reunion.
Anyways it was nice talking to

Kat

I hang up and go back to my room. I listen for Auntie J and she's in her room so I go and knock on her door. "Come in!" I walk in shutting the door and getting in her bed. "What's up?" Auntie J asked "Just a warning. I believe that Isobel is a vampire. Katherine the girl I told you about that Elena and I are her doppelgängers knows her and told me that Damon turned her. So I think Saltzman is here to kill Damon." I say "Are you sure?" Auntie J asked "Yeah I am. He was asking Damon a lot of random questions that aren't normal for just being Stefan's teacher." I say

3/15/24- I have finally finished fixing the chapters to fit the new plot I have for this book. I know Finn and Kol weren't in this chapter much but I wasn't sure exactly how to put them in here much. This is the next book I'm gonna update after I finish my current update so I'm hoping to have it up soon but with school I'm not sure when I'll get to work on it.
