As soon as I walk into the boarding house, Damon drags me upstairs with him. "Why are you dragging me?" I ask "We need to talk to my brother and your sister." Damon said "And that couldn't wait until after they got out of bed?" I ask "Nope." Damon said "Of course." I say and we walk into Stefan's room where he and Elena are still asleep. Damon sits on Stefan's bed and I stand away from the bed. "Rise and shine, sleepyheads." Damon said and they quickly move to cover themselves with a blanket. "Damon, please!" Elena exclaims and I roll my eyes. "What are you two doing?" Stefan asked looking from Damon to me and I shrug. "Oh, stop being smutty." Damon said "Seriously, get out of here! Both of you!" Stefan said "If I see something I haven't seen before I'll throw a dollar at it." Elena looks offended making me laugh quietly. "Now, listen. We have some very important business to discuss." Damon said "And it has to be right now?" Elena asked

"I already asked him that while he drug me with him." I say "Well, we have lots to do now that we're all friends and working toward a common goal." Damon said and Stefan and Elena look at each other. "I don't trust them." Kol said making me jump slightly because I didn't notice that he was beside me. "So in order to open the tomb, we need to find the journal to get the grimoire to undo the spell. So first things first, since you two are Liv and Elena Gilbert you two are on journal duty." Damon said "Since when am I helping?" Elena asked "And since when am I needed to look for a damn journal? There's two Gilbert's, let the human one do the human shit. I'm stronger than the two of you combined on a good day." I say "Well, Stefan's helping and you've taken up residence in Stefan's bed, ergo..." Damon said "You don't have to do anything you don't wanna do." Stefan said "I'll look for it today." Elena said "Good." Damon said

"How do we know... that this journal will hold the location of the grimoire? We're really gonna take the word of this vampire? He seemed like a bit of a dimwit." Stefan said "In lieu of any other options." Damon said "Okay, what exactly is a grimoire, anyway?" Elena asked "It's a witch's spell book. Every spell that a witch casts is unique unto itself. So every witch would document their work." I say "Yeah. Cookbook." Damon said "What about our mystery vampire? Dimwit obviously wasn't working alone. So whoever's out there knows who we are." Stefan said "And I don't like that disadvantage, so... chop-chop. You know, I really like this whole ménage-foursome-team-thing. It's got a bit of a kink to it. Don't screw it up!" Damon said "Oh my god, gross. Damon what the hell?" I ask and he laughs before we walk out of Stefan's room.

I'm upstairs in my room while Elena and Stefan are looking for the journal. I knew they probably wouldn't find it because Jer had it last. I have a force field spell around my room so they don't hear me but I can hear them. "Do you think Damon really believes us that we're both trying to help him?" Elena asked "I don't think Damon knows what to believe. Trust isn't something that comes naturally to him." Stefan said "Yet you're breaking it anyways." I say out loud. "Told you I didn't trust them." Kol said "I knew not to trust them a long time ago. Now I have to go warn a Bennett witch so she doesn't die trying to open this tomb." I say "Who Sheila?" Finn asked "Yup." I say "She got rid of us and you still want to help her?" Kol asked "I promised Emily that I would protect her bloodline after she helped me gain control. Elena will ask Bonnie to help unlock the tomb, in turn Bonnie will ask Sheila and it will cause Sheila to die. She's also been like a grandmother to me my entire life, and even though I'm pissed she fucked with my memories, I can't let her die." I say

"You know... I really think that Damon believes that everything he's done, every move that he's made he's done for love. It's twisted, but it's kind of sad." Elena said "There are other ways to get what you want. You don't have to kill people. Damon has no regard for human life. He enjoys inflicting pain on others. For a 145 years... every single time that I have let my guard down and let Damon back into my life he's done something to make me regret that. I'm not gonna make that mistake again." Stefan said and I roll my eyes. "So what do you think will happen if the tomb gets opened and Damon gets Katherine back?" Elena asked and I scoff. "I think that no matter what Damon promises a lot of people will die. That's Jonathan Gilbert." Stefan said "What's this?" Elena asked and I hear Jer walk to the stairs. "Should I go crash it?" I ask "Do it. Cause the drama." Kol said smirking and I smile shaking my head.

I drop the force field and follow Jer downstairs. "What are you guys doing?" Jer asked as we walk into the kitchen. He leans against the counter and I sit on the counter beside him. Stefan looks concerned at whatever is in the box in Elena's hands. She quickly closes the box and moves it to continue looking. I slip off the counter and walk over to the table, I grab the box and go to open it. "Liv, don't." Stefan said but I open it anyways. Inside the box is a muzzle looking thing. "What in the hell kind of kinky shit was our ancestors into?" I ask "What do you mean?" I pick the muzzle up out of the box showing him. "It could be for an animal." Jer said and I laugh. "Remy, this does not look like it would fit an animal." I say dropping it back into the box. "Yeah, you're right. I was just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt." Jer said and I laugh. "Well now I need to bleach my hands." I say putting the box back onto the table walking over to the sink, scrubbing my hands.

"Hey, just, um... going through some stuff, feeling sentimental. Dad had this old family journal from years ago. I thought I'd dig it up." Elena said and I walk back over to the counter sitting where I was before.  "Jonathan Gilbert's journal?" Jer asked as he sits on the counter beside me. "Yeah, what do you know about it?" Elena asked "I just did a history report on it." Jer said and Stefan immediately looks up before glancing over at me then back at Jer. "Oh! So where is it now?" Elena asked "I gave it to Mr. Saltzman. He wanted to see it." Jer said and the two of them look at each other. Jer looks at me and raises his eyebrow. "Stefan was wanting to see if Jonathan had wrote anything about his ancestor Giuseppe Salvatore. He and Jonathan were friends in 1864." I say and he nods slightly getting the underlining meaning of the words.

Once again I walk up Miss Sheila's steps and like before she opens the door before I could knock. "Hello, Child. Bonnie told me you told her to come talk to me?" Sheila asked "Yes, ma'am. She lost control of her magic and made water explode in a bucket towards Tiki and she made Tikis car catch on fire. She didn't believe anything you said so I kind of helped push her towards you again. But you know that is not why I am here and I do not believe that it should be talked about out here. So may I come in?" I ask and she nods. "Please come in." She moves aside so I could come inside. She shuts the door behind me. She motions to the seat in front of her once she sits down so I sit down across from her. "Now I assume you are here because of Emily's visit through Bonnie?" Sheila asked "Yes, I am. Do you know what I am besides being a vampire?" I ask "Yes, child. I've known about your magic since you were a child." Sheila said

"Good then this will make this a simpler." She looks confused and goes to say something but I speak before she could. "Elena knows about Bonnie. Damon is looking to open the tomb under Fell's Church because he believes Katherine Pierce is in the tomb because of a deal he made with Emily before she died, but she is not. Now I'm not going to betray Emily and tell them where the location of her grimoire is but if they find out of their own then there's nothing else I can do. My sister will stop at nothing to get what she wants and we both also know Bonnie will help her no matter what." I say "You are right about that. Bonnie would stop at nothing for her friends." Sheila said and I nod.

"We know how spells go and there is always a loophole, you can open the tomb so people can get in but the vampires are not coming back out. The next step of that spell will be what completely opens the tomb. Now I don't plan on completely opening the tomb but I know Damon and he will most likely take Elena to make sure you and Bonnie don't try and close it in on him. We have another vampire in town and her name is Annabelle but she goes by Anna. Her mother is in the tomb and she is here to get her out. I think she plans to use Jeremy's blood to wake her mother up, I've warned Jeremy not to go near her. But that will not stop her from using Elena if she can get to her. Stefan being Stefan would run in after her." I say before she continues.

"And Elena will beg Bonnie to drop the barrier to let him out." Shelia said "Yes, exactly and I hate to say it Miss Sheila but completely opening that tomb will kill you, we both know it unless you have a little help. I'm going to allow you and Bonnie to channel from me so you don't die. But to keep this from happening again and me potentially not being able to help you, I think you should still fake your death for everyone but myself, Bonnie and whoever else in your family you want to know. If we both stress to Bonnie how important it is for this to remain a secret, I believe that she would listen." I say "So you want me to run away from vampires?" Shelia asked "Not exactly. Think of it this way, you fake your death to everyone but a select few, move out of Mystic Falls but still be close enough that Bonnie can come see you whenever. You help her become stronger and more powerful, I could to an extent but our magic is too different for me to help her fully." I say

"So I fake my death, move out of Mystic Falls, and continue to help Bonnie grow to become more powerful away from the vampires?" Sheila asked "Exactly. It's a win win. You get to help Bonnie become stronger, and try to talk to her about not helping Elena and the Salvatore brothers even if she doesn't listen, and I keep you from dying permanently." I say "It's a deal. Are you going to tell Bonnie or do you want me to?" Sheila asked "I could tell her, show her my powers before we actually open the tomb so she's not shocked when we do." I say and she nods. "Then you do that and I will prepare myself for opening the tomb, whenever that may be." Sheila said and I nod standing up and she does the same. "It's been nice seeing you Miss Sheila, as always." I say "You too, Child." Sheila said and she shuts the door behind me.

I walk down the steps pulling out my phone. "Hey, Bon. We need to talk as soon as possible, it's important." I say "I'm getting ready for a date at the moment, so you can come sit with me while I get ready." Bonnie said and I vamp speed to her house. I knock on the door. "Good, because I'm here." I say before hanging up. "That was quick." Bonnie said opening the door. "Well I do have super speed." I say "Oh, yeah. I forgot about that." We go back to her room and she closes the door behind me. I sit on her bed and she turns to me. "So what's so important that you needed to see me asap?" Bonnie asked "Miss Sheila told me you listened to me and went to see her." I say "Yeah, I did. How did you know about my magic?" Bonnie asked

"I'll get to that in a minute. What do you remember about Emily taking over your body?" I ask "I remember being at your house with Caroline and Elena, doing a séance with the crystal. Caroline was mad because you were hanging with Stefan and Damon instead of us. The crystal disappeared but I found it in the bathroom between yours and Elena's room. Then I remember waking up at the church, Damon attacking me and you throwing him. But nothing between that. Why?" Bonnie asked "Well I cause that's good but it's going to make this a lot more complicated." I say "What more complicated?" Bonnie asked "Before I tell you this, I need you to promise not to tell Elena." I say "Why?" Bonnie asked "Because I don't want her to know until the time is right and it's very important that she doesn't know. So do you swear that you won't tell her?" I ask "I swear. Now what do you not want her to know?" Bonnie asked "This." I say raising my arms making a ball of red energy between my hands.

"You're a witch?" Bonnie asked "Kind of. I have different powers than your kind of witches. It's kind of hard to explain. But when I was 10, I started having these dreams. I woke up in a field near this house with a woman standing in front of me, claiming she was Emily Bennett wanting to help me. Told me that she could help me control the chaos that ran through my blood, no one but me knew about it. I told no one I had magic. From then until a week before the accident, I would have these dreams. She would help me control my magic, in turn, I swore to her that I would protect her bloodline for as long as I lived." I say "So you swore to Emily that you would protect the Bennett bloodline?" Bonnie asked

"Exactly and that is the only reason I am telling you this now. I don't know if Elena has told you about the tomb under the church but there is a tomb under the church with vampires that Emily trapped inside because she made a deal with Damon, save Damon and Stefan's ex and he would do the same as I. The spell to unlock the tomb is in two parts. You open the tomb, then you unlock. I know you and I know if Elena asked you then you would help, causing you to ask Miss Shiela to help. I'm going to be brutally honest with you Bon, the spell will kill Shiela so that's why I'm telling you this about me. You and Shiela are going to channel from me to help with the spell and afterwards Shiela is going to fake her death and move out of Mystic Falls." She goes to say something but I cut her off. "She won't physically be dead. Sheila moves out of Mystic Falls but still be close enough that you can go see her to help with your magic or just to go see her. It is important that you do not tell Elena or any one else anything about this plan." I say "Why is she faking her death?" Bonnie asked

"Because it will stop Elena and anyone else from constantly asking her for witch help. She has already agreed with this plan and she was the one who told me to come see you and tell you myself." I say "That is a lot to take in right before I have a date with Ben, but I promise I won't tell her or anyone else." Bonnie said and I tense. "Wait, Ben? Ben McKittrick?" I ask "Yeah, him. Why?" Bonnie asked "He's a vampire. I saw this girl following him the night of the dance. She went to attack him and using vampire speed, he had her against the wall. They kissed and walked away together." I say "Do you think he has an alternative motive to this date?" Bonnie asked "I'm not totally sure. Yes, the girl wants the tomb opened but I'm not sure if that's the reason he's wanted to go on the date." I say "Well, I'll keep you updated if he doesn't. If he does then just promise to find me." Bonnie said "I promise. Now, I have to go help Stefan with finding my family's journal from our new history teacher. If it's a normal date then have fun, if not then I promise to find you." I say

Stefan and I go to the High School to see if Saltzman left the journal there while Damon plays nice and helps Auntie J cook dinner. Dinner is just a way for Damon to confirm what we already knew, that they were lying to him. Even though I know the location of the grimoire, I won't betray Emily like that. Stefan and I are standing at Saltzmans desk in his classroom. I feel a presence outside the room and spin around just in time to catch a stake that is getting shot at us. I look down at the stake then at Stefan as Saltzman is reloading the gun thing.

I throw the stake down on his desk as Stefan vamp speeds behind him making him turn around. Stefan grabs the gun from him before grabbing his collar. "You shouldn't have done that." Stefan said before he pushed Saltzman into some of the desks making him fall to the floor. Saltzman quickly gets up. "Have a seat. Now." He does as I grab the gun from Stefan looking at it. I knew about a lot of "vampire hunting" weapons but this one is new to me. "What is this, compressed air? Did you make it yourself? Who are you?" I step towards him making him shrink back. "I'm not gonna hurt you... unless you try that again. I don't take too kindly to being shot at." I say before handing him back his gun thing.

"Now... who are you?" Stefan asked "I'm a teacher." Saltzman said "We're gonna have to do this the hard way?" I ask "I'm also a historian. And while researching Virginia, I... made a few discoveries about your town." Saltzman said "So you show up like Van Helsing. Come on. Tell us the truth." I say even though I think I already know it. "My wife was a... parapsychologist. She spent her life researching paranormal activity in this area. It was her work that led me here." Saltzman said "Where's your wife?" I ask "Don't reveal anything Ástin. You can use that later." Finn said "Dead. A vampire killed her." Saltzman said "Where's the Gilbert journal?" Stefan asked "What do you want with it?" Saltzman asked "Where is it?" Stefan asked "It's on my desk." Saltzman said "No, it's not." I say "It was on my desk." Saltzman said "Told you we had company." I say "How long have you been aware of us?" Stefan asked "I learned just recently. What about your brother?" Saltzman asked "You met Damon." Stefan said

"Who do you think killed my wife?" Saltzman asked "Are you certain it was Damon?" I ask "I witnessed it." Saltzman said "If you're here for revenge.... This is gonna end very badly for you." I say "I just wanna find out what happened to my wife." Saltzman said "I thought you just said that Damon-" Stefan said "Yeah. I saw him... draining the life out of her. He must have heard me coming. He just... disappeared. So did her body. They never found her." Saltzman said "Damon can never know why you're here. He'll kill you without blinking." Stefan said "I can take care of myself." Saltzman said and I laugh. "No, you can't." I say "I can help you... if you let me." Stefan said "Always the hero." Kol said

I get back to the house quicker than Stefan and sit on the couch with Damon and Jer. As soon as I left the school, I texted Damon telling him everything from who Saltzman was and the thing about the journal and how Stefan got the printed off pages of it. I put my feet across Damon's lap while he plays Xbox with Jeremy. "You said you never played this thing before." Jer said "I'm a fast learner. Quick reflexes." Jeremy's phone rings and he paused the game to check it before declining the call and throwing it back on the pillow. "Who are you dodging?" Damon asked "This girl, Anna. She can be, uh, persistent." Jer said "Is she hot?" Damon asked and I scoff. "Yeah, yeah, but she can be weird." Jer said "Hot trumps weird. Trust me. Liv's the perfect example." Damon said and I scoff while Jer laughs. I smack Damon on the back of the head. "Asshole!" I say "Ow! Why?" Damon asked "Because you're being mean." I say "But I'm telling the truth. You're hot but you're also really weird." Damon said and I lean closer to him. "Don't make me stab you with a stake again, because I will." I say

"Damn, Sis." Jer said "I was wondering when you would drop the act." Damon said "What do you mean?" Jer asked "Damon and I made a deal. He knew about the bracelet but only "compelled" you because of Elena." I say "Well damn." Jer said "Damn indeed." Damon said "He is ridiculously hot!" Auntie J whispered to Elena and I laugh quietly leaning against Damon. "Shh! He's an ass." Elena said and Damon shakes his head. "What are you doing with all this stuff?" Auntie J asked "I thought there might be something... about mine and Liv's birth parents." Elena said "Have you two told Jeremy?" Auntie J asked even though she knew I already did. The three of us have standing supernatural discussions multiple times a week, so they know about what's going on right now with the tomb and everything else supernatural wise. "I will, when the time is right. I'm not sure if Liv has though. We haven't talked much lately." The doorbell rings and I knew it was Stefan. "That's Stefan." Elena said and Damon shoved my legs off his lap getting up.

"Dude!" Jer said as Damon and Elena go to the door. "Well?" Damon looks at me. "Liv, come on." Damon said "Why?" I ask "Liv, move your ass before I have to drag you." Damon said smiling at me. "Fine. No need to get violent." I get up and stop in front of Jer. Auntie J looks at me so I nod and she turns on the sink. "They find out you told her about the journal, they'll force you to meet with her. I'm going with no matter what." I say quietly and he nods. I look back at Auntie J and she nods turning the sink off. I step out onto the porch shutting the door behind me. "Who took it?" Damon asked "I don't know." Stefan said "You know what, it's that teacher. There's something really off about him." Damon said "No, he doesn't know anything, somebody got to him right before us." Stefan said quickly before I could say anything.

"Who else knew it was there?" Damon asked and Stefan looks through the window at Jer. "No. Damon, leave him out of it!" Elena said "Why? What's the big deal?" Damon asked "Damon!" Elena said and we walk back in the house. "So..." Damon sits on the edge of the couch and I sit beside Jer. "I heard you found a really cool journal from back in the day. Who else did you show it to?" Damon asked "Huh?" Jer asked "Don't ask questions, just spill." Damon said and Jer chuckled. "You're kidding me, right?" Jer asked "Jer, did you tell anyone other than Mr. Saltzman about Jonathan Gilbert's journal?" Elena asked "Why is everybody so obsessed with that thing?" Jer asked glancing at me. "Who else did you tell?" Elena asked "Mm, just that girl, Anna." Jer said "The hot, weird one?" Damon asked "Yeah." Jer said "Wait, who's Anna?" Stefan asked "That's what I wanna find out." A phone rings. "How do you know her?" Damon asked "I just know her. She wants me to meet her at the grill tonight." Jer said "Perfect! I'll drive. Come on." Damon said "Oh, okay." Jer said getting up and I follow.

I sit near the back of the grill but where I can still see Jer. The girl that I saw with Ben walks in and goes straight for Jeremy. I knew at that exact moment Kat was right. "Fuck." I whisper "What?" Kol asked "That's the girl that Kat told me about." I say "So you were right?" Finn asked "Yeah, I was. Which is good because I warned the Bennetts in time but not good because I didn't save him from meeting her." I say "You couldn't have known that she would be a vampire. Don't blame yourself, Darling." Kol said and I use vampire hearing on Jer and Anna's conversation. "You just couldn't live without me, huh?" Anna asked "Well, I kinda miss my daily dose of cute, stalker chick." Jer said "Oh, funny." Anna said "Let's play." Jer said and I see Damon looking at her then he looks over at me. He waves me over and I get up and slowly make my way over to him trying to not have her catch me. "What?" I ask "I knew her from 1864. Come on we need to follow her." Damon said and I nod.

I'm hiding behind the door of Anna's hotel room when the door opens and closes. I grab her by the neck and vamp speed her against the wall. She grabs my neck as well and I squeeze harder tilting my head smirking at her as I feel my eyes start glowing. "Oh honey, I was turned by an Original himself, you think you can beat me?" I ask quietly since Damon was outside.

Damon walks in the room from outside and I start pretending like I'm struggling. "Liv, give in. She's over 500 years old." Damon said and I just raise my eyebrow at Anna because I wasn't going to be the first one to let go. She lets go of my neck and I do the same and she looks scared and concerned. I fake cough to keep up the appearance with Damon. "Damn. You're strong for a little thing." I say smirking. "I was wondering how long it would take you to find me." Anna said "How long have you been here?" Damon asked

"I arrived around half-past comet... watching you screw up every chance you had to open that tomb." Anna said "How did you know about the spell?" Damon asked "I didn't say much back then... which means I heard everything." Anna said "So if you've been here the whole time then why are we just crossing paths right now?" Damon said standing right in front of her. "I like to use others to do my dirty work." Anna said walking away from him. "Like Logan Fell? Oh, yeah, thanks for that by the way. The fucker shot me." I say and Damon raises his hand. "And me." Damon said and I roll my eyes at him. "Logan was an idiot." Anna said "Mm-hmm." Damon said "We slipped him some blood when he started getting all poser slayer with that compass. I needed his family's journal. I couldn't let him die." Anna said

"What do you want with the Fell journal?" I ask "I thought it contained the location of the witch's spell book. I was wrong. According to her journal Honoria gave the Grimoire to Jonathan Gilbert. And according to this..." She gets the journal out of her bag. "He gave it to Giuseppe Salvatore. So now you two are gonna help me find it." Anna said and I scoff. "Why would I help you?" I ask "Cause Damon and I, both want that tomb open and you want to help him." Anna said handing Damon the journal and I take it out of his hands and he reads over my shoulder. "Hm." He laughs slightly and I knew he saw the exact same thing I did. "Sorry. I work with one person and that's Liv." Damon said and we walk out. "Just an fyi, I think Stefan and Elena already know." I say

We get near Giuseppe's grave and I see Stefan standing in the grave and Elena standing beside it. Stefan picks up the grimoire taking the cover off. I see the faint red glow from my magic on the grimoire making me smirk. "Is that?" Kol asked and I nod. There's one thing I didn't tell Bonnie, Kol and Finn the truth about. Emily didn't stop visiting me the week before the accident. She visited me one more time after that, it was a couple weeks before she started visiting Bonnie. She told me to dig up Giuseppe's grave and put a protective force field around the book to keep it from being destroyed. I did so and then made an allusion to make the ground look like it hadn't been touched since Giuseppe was buried.

"Well, what do you know?" Elena quickly stands up holding the flashlight towards us. "This is an interesting turn of events." Damon said "I can't let you bring her back. I'm sorry." Stefan said "So am I... for thinking for even a second that I could trust you." Damon said "Oh. You're not capable of trust. The fact that you two are here means that you read the journal and you both were planning on doing this yourselves." Stefan said "Of course, we were gonna do it ourselves because the only one I can count on is Liv! You made sure of that many years ago, Stefan. But you... you almost had me fooled. If it wasn't for Liv telling me every single moment that you two spoke about lying to me with this, I probably would have." Damon said

"What the hell, Liv?" Stefan asked "Don't what the hell me, Salvatore. Ever since I met you all you've talked about was wanting to repair your relationship with your brother, and yet you go and betray not only him but me too? Every single fucking whim, that little bitch has had since the day the two of you met, you have done!" I point at Elena and she flinches making me smirk. "Stefan, you are my best friend and I love you, but I'm done, I can't keep doing this. So what are you gonna do now?" I ask "Because if try and destroy that, I'll rip her heart out." Damon said "You won't kill her." Stefan said and I look at Damon and nod.

He vamp speeds over to Elena grabbing her in a headlock. "I can do one better." Damon bites his wrist shoving it in Elena's mouth. "Give me the book, Stefan... or I'm snapping her neck, and you will have a vampire girlfriend." Damon said "Let her go first." Stefan said "The book." Damon said "I'm not gonna give this to you... until she is standing next to me." Stefan said "The problem is that I no longer trust that you'll give it back!" Damon said "You just did the one thing that ensures that I will." Stefan said and I scoff getting tired of this. Stefan lays the book on the ground and Damon looks at me over Stefan's shoulder, I nod. He lets Elena go and she runs to Stefan's side who hugs her. They walk past me with hatred in their eyes. "Damon grab the book." I say and he does.

I vamp speed back to my house while Damon goes to the boarding house. I step in my room and shut the door behind me. "How were you okay with what just happened, Ástin?" Finn asked "Damon wasn't going to kill her. We just played their bluff. We've had this plan in motion since the dance. The only part I didn't fully account for was the printed off version of the journal, so I had to go to a different plan. I was taught by the best, have a plan for single outcome that could happen." I say "You will get along amazingly with Niklaus. He is about as paranoid as you if not more." Kol said "Well you have to be paranoid when your sister is a back stabbing bitch." I say before walking downstairs and sitting on the couch.

I hear Elena in the bathroom connecting mine and her rooms. "Aspirin must be downstairs. Is my head supposed to hurt like this?" Elena asked "Oh, you'll be fine. That was just a small amount of blood. It should pass out of your system by tomorrow." Stefan said "Are you okay?" Elena asked "Damon was right. This is, uh... This is my fault. I put my faith in my father. But Damon put his faith in me and... I destroyed that. This is my fault." Stefan said "You didn't do anything wrong. Don't forget that." Elena said and I scoff. "What?" Auntie J asked and I point to my ear and upstairs and she nods. "Okay. I'm gonna get you that aspirin." Stefan said and he comes downstairs glances at me before walking towards the kitchen, so I get up and follow him. "You know you're not staying the night, right?" Auntie J asked and Stefan leans against the door frame crossing his arms. "Uh, we-we're just gonna hang out for a little while." Stefan said "You're lucky I like you. Keep the door open." Auntie J said "You got it. Hey, do you have any aspirin?" Stefan asked and Auntie J looks at me confused.

"Yeah, but, Liv, I thought you had some in your bathroom?" Auntie J asked getting up to get it. "Uh, it must've grew legs and walked off or something because it's not there." I say and Jer walks into the kitchen. "Oh, hey, Stefan, Liv. Where'd she go?" Jer asked and I stand up straight tensing. "She went to the bathroom." Auntie J said "Where'd who go?" I ask "He has a friend over." Auntie J said "Anna." Jer said "Damn it, Jeremy! I told you not to bring the vampire in the house. Stefan go! They know." I say and he looks at me and I nod and he vamp speeds upstairs. "Elena! Liv, get up here!" Stefan yells and I look away from Jeremy and Auntie J and vamp speed upstairs to Elena's room. I look around her room to find it empty and a window open.

I quickly vamp speed through the bathroom and into mine just to see if she could potentially be there. Nothing. "Fuck!" I start pacing my room and Stefan follows me. I quickly put up a force field so they don't hear us yelling even though I would tell them later. "This was never supposed to happen." I say "What do you mean? You and Damon are the reason she has vampire blood in her veins right now!" Stefan yells "We only meant to scare you! Damon would give her a little bit of his blood, enough to scare you into giving him the book. She was never supposed to get kidnapped!" I yell "Well she has, so now we need to find her!" Stefan yells "This I know! And I plan on it." I say "Calm down, Elskan. You can't help him find your sister if you kill him first." Kol said "Kol is right, Ástin mín. Calm down." Finn said
