Kiara stood on the outskirts of the elegant wedding reception, her eyes fixed on the dance floor where Alice and Jasper were stealing all of the guests attention as Edward and Bella slipped out for a moment alone. The ambiance was magical, with fairy lights casting a soft, ethereal glow over the garden where the couple had exchanged their vows just hours ago. Kiara's heart swelled with happiness for the newlyweds, her smile genuine as she watched her friends and family soak in the happiness that surrounded them.

Beside her, Rosalie glanced at Kiara and couldn't help but notice the thoughtful expression on her face. She was still almost left breathless every time she looked at the wolf, keeping it in the back of her head that she needed to thank Alice for putting her in that dress. She was truly something special, and Rosalie was so happy to be here with her.

"What's on your mind, Kie?" Rosalie asked, her voice barely above a whisper to avoid disturbing the enchanting atmosphere.

Kiara tore her gaze away from the dance floor and turned to Rosalie. "I was just thinking about Bella and Edward's honeymoon plans," she replied, a hint of strain in her voice. "I mean, they're going to Isle Esme, right? It's supposed to be this remote, beautiful island off the coast of Brazil."

Rosalie nodded, unsure of where Kiara was going with this.

"Is that where Edward is planning to..." she trailed off, almost unable to finish the sentence. She knew what was destined to happen to Bella now that she was married to Edward, but it didn't make it any easier. Sure, she had told them that the wolves wouldn't consider it a breach of the treaty, but the very thought made her skin crawl instinctively. Her wolf was internally cringing at the thought of Edward taking away the last drop of Bella's human life.

Rosalie shook her head, reaching down and squeezing Kiara's hand gently. She turned to fully face her, lifting her hand and tucking a loose piece of hair behind the Black daughter's ear. Kiara leaned into her embrace a little, blocking out the gossip that she could faintly hear Jessica and the rest of her high school friends whispering between each other as they realised the couple was back together.

"No," Rosalie replied, gently as she pressed a soft kiss to her girlfriend's lips. "Not yet."

"You know, Bella always wanted an extraordinary life with Edward, and it looks like she's getting just that," Kiara mused, her eyes flickering to where the couple had just exited from. She wasn't sure what Edward was showing Bella out in the forest, and a part of her wasn't sure she even wanted to know at this point.

Rosalie's fingers gently brushed against Kiara's once more, a tender gesture that spoke volumes. "And you, Kiara," she said softly, "what kind of extraordinary life do you want?"

Kiara's heart skipped a beat at the question. She knew that her relationship with Rosalie was extraordinary in its own right, but there were complexities they had yet to navigate, particularly given the unconventional nature of their family and the world they lived in. Her eyes twinkled as she looked up slightly at Rosalie, a warm smile on her lips as she stared into her golden eyes.

"Any one that involves me, you and forever," Kiara murmured back, pressing her lips against Rosalie's once more.

"You guys are so cute," Beverly giggled, interrupting their moment as she walked over with Emmett's arm wrapped around her waist. Emmett rolled his eyes, a lopsided smirk present as he looked at Rosalie's pissed off face from being interrupted by her sister.

"It's disgusting," Emmett joked, "the cuteness levels."

"Shut up, idiot," Rosalie barked, causing the other three to chuckle at her annoyance towards her brother-in-law.

Kiara frowned and turned her attention back to the gap in the lights where Edward and Bella had walked off. Alice and Jasper had paused mid-dance, their expressions shifting from joy to alertness as their eyes flickered over to where Kiara was standing before looking into the forest too. Rosalie, Emmett and Beverly looked concerned as they looked between their siblings and Kiara's sudden mood swing - which had alerted Jasper to the disturbance.

"What's happening?" Emmett asked, his body tensing as he noticed the way Kiara's heart picked up a little.

Rosalie's eyes narrowed, not liking the way Kiara seemed to be on high alert suddenly.

"I'm not sure, but..." She trailed off, her gaze flicking around the garden as if searching for answers. Her eyes met Seth's, who had just walked back into the reception, his eyes wide as he clutched his phone in his hands. "Oh."

"Oh?" Beverly echoed, confused as to what was going on.

"This is how I'm gonna remember you. Pink cheeks. Two left feet."

Kiara's narrowed as she zoned in on the familiar voice.

"My brother is here."

______

"What? While you're still human? You can't be serious, Bella. Tell me you're not that stupid!"

"I mean, it's really none of your business!"

Kiara rounded the corner as her brother grabbed on to Bella's arm, shaking her a little as he processed what she was trying to insinuate. The atmosphere was tense, charged with the raw energy of conflict. Bella had found herself, her heart pounding with fear as Jacob Black's grip on her arm tightened. She could feel the heat from his skin, and she could almost feel the way his hand was shaking against her arm as he resisted his anger.

"Jake, let me go!" Bella's voice trembled as she struggled against Jacob's powerful hold. The tumultuous scene unfolding before her was beyond her comprehension, and she felt a rising sense of panic.

Before Jacob could respond, Edward had arrived, his voice firm but measured as he intervened. Kiara sped to Bella's side, the human girl jumping in surprise as the wolf placed a reassuring hand on her arm and moved her behind her, using herself as a shield between Bella and her brother.

"Jacob, calm down, all right?" Edward said, his voice tight. He was a little more relieved that Kiara had caught on to Jacob's presence, but he didn't like the idea of having two high-strung shifters facing off against each other while Bella was so close.

Jacob's dark eyes flickered with a mix of anger and desperation. He turned to face up to Edward, his body remained tense, coiled like a spring ready to snap. "Are you out of your mind? Huh? You'll kill her!"

He took a threatening step forward, but was immediately grabbed from behind by Seth who had chased Kiara out of the dance floor. The other vampires had stayed behind, including Rosalie who had gone to fill Billy and Sue in on why their children had both just ran off in the middle of the reception.

Jacob wrestled against Seth, shoving the younger boy to the ground and causing the rest of the pack that had been sulking in the trees to launch into action. Leah rushed forward, her arms tugging her brother up from the ground as Embry and Quil sprung forward to try and tug the boy away from attacking Edward.

Sam took charge, his voice carrying authority and an alpha's order as he addressed Jacob, attempting to diffuse the escalating tension. He knew that the last thing they needed was a fight between Jacob and Edward, especially on Bella's special day. They might not have liked the vampires, but they were now intertwined with the family for as long as Seth and Kiara remained imprinted on two of the vampires.

"Walk away, Jake. Enough, Jacob!" Sam's voice resonated with power, a reminder of the pack's hierarchy. Jacob's eyes darted between Bella, Edward, and the pack members surrounding him. His breathing was heavy, his emotions a maelstrom of conflicting desires and fears. His eyes lingered on Kiara, a small feeling of regret for interrupting her night when it was clear she had been having a good time before he reappeared after running away and ignoring her for weeks.

"Stay out of this, Sam."

Sam's tone remained unwavering, not backing down as he noticed Kiara's hand slip up to her neck and unclasp the necklace that she had been wearing. He knew that she was anticipating this going in the direction that he was hoping it wouldn't.

"You're not gonna start something that we'll have to finish."

"She'll die!" The standoff reached its breaking point as Jacob realised the futility of his actions. His shoulders slumped, and he reluctantly released the tight grip on his emotions. His eyes were burning with hatred as he flickered his head between Sam and Edward, trying to ignore the presence of his sister and the way she was looking at him.

Kiara lightly pressed her palm against Bella's, allowing the human to wrap her fingers around the chain. She looked down, a bit of confusion on her face as she noticed the necklace that Alice and Jasper had bought the wolf for the wedding, but she didn't speak a word.

Sam's gaze softened momentarily, but he shook his head. "She's not our concern anymore."

Reluctantly, Jacob turned away from Bella and the Cullens, his footsteps heavy as he moved past the rest of the pack and towards where Sam stood at the back. Sam remained a stoney face as Jacob shoulder barged him, rolling his eyes and nodding in respect to Edward.

Unlike the rest of them, Kiara hadn't taken her eyes off her brother for a second, nor had she relaxed even a single muscle. She knew her brother better than everyone standing in the forest trees, and she knew that he wasn't backing down from this argument that easily.

Without a second of doubt, Jacob spun around and lunged towards Edward, his human frame shifting instantly into the large russet wolf that had lived in Bella's dreams ever since she had first heard of the treaty on La Push. The rest of them might not have been prepared, but Kiara was.

The smaller black and russet wolf crashed into the side of Jacob, causing them both to tumble through the trees. Bella let out Kiara's name in a yell, and without a single second passing, Rosalie was at their sides. The blonde vampire went to move towards the wolves, but Edward's hand reached out and grasped at her wrist.

"Leave them, they'll be fine."
____

The moon glistened high against the cooling night sky, casting long shadows across the meadow where the heated argument unfolded. Jacob and Kiara had just concluded an intense physical altercation, their fury palpable in the air as they stood panting, glaring at each other. They'd both shifted back, ignoring the lack of clothing between the two - after all, they'd grown up taking baths together and had seen each other in much worse conditions over the years.

Their physical fight might have been over, but the verbal one had only just begun.

Kiara's ebony hair clung to her sweat-slicked forehead as she fixed her piercing gaze on Jacob, her brown eyes seething with anger. Jacob's tanned skin glistened with exertion, his raven-black hair tousled and matted, but his eyes burned with a fiery intensity that matched his sister's. Kiara was glad the rest of the pack had left them to it, knowing that she didn't want to ruin their nights when they'd already all been dragged away from their families and imprints with the sudden appearance of her brother.

"You have no right, Jacob!" Kiara's voice trembled with rage, and her fists were clenched at her sides. "This is Bella's wedding day, and you had to ruin it with your reckless behaviour. Just for ONCE in your life, can you just let other people be happy?"

Jacob's lips curled into a derisive half-snarl as he shook his head, unfazed by her reproach. "You think this is reckless? Kiara, I'm doing what's right."

"What's right?" Kiara scoffed, her hands gesturing wildly at the picturesque scene unfolding before them. "You've turned Bella's wedding into a battlefield. You couldn't even let her have one day of peace and happiness! This is supposed to be the happiest day of her life, and you just turn up out of nowhere after disappearing on us all for WEEKS!"

"You don't understand, Kiara. I couldn't just stand by and watch her make the biggest mistake of her life," Jacob's tone grew sharp, his eyes narrowing as he replied. His chest was heaving with anger, and if they both hadn't both exhausted themselves already, she was sure they'd be back at each others throats and raking claws through fur once again.

Kiara's frustration was evident as she took a step closer to Jacob, her voice a low growl.

"And what mistake is that, Jacob? Marrying the man she loves? You sound like a possessive ex-boyfriend - which you aren't even that, incase you forgot - not her friend."

Jacob's jaw clenched, and he shot back, "I'm not just her friend, Kiara. I'm the only one who can see the truth. Edward will destroy her."

"Destroy her?" Kiara's eyes flashed with disbelief. She just couldn't believe that Jacob was acting like this when Bella had yet again chosen Edward over him. Eternally, this time.  "Edward loves her. Bella loves him. It's their wedding day, for heaven's sake! She fucking chose him, Jake!"

Jacob's voice became eerily calm as he explained, "You don't get it, Kiara. Edward is going to turn her into a vampire, and she'll lose her humanity. She'll be dead, not truly alive. I won't let that happen."

The realization of what Jacob was saying hung heavily in the air. Kiara stared at him, her anger giving way to exasperation. "Jake, you can't stop this. It's happening. What Bella chooses to do with her life now, that's up to her."

"She'll be stuck forever in her eighteen-year-old self, her family and friends will age and die, and she'll be an eternal predator. Charlie will think she's fucking dead, Kiara! Is that the future she deserves?"

Kiara's voice wavered, her eyes watering as she felt like she was hitting a brick wall while talking to her brother. She loved him, but he was so blinded by this unreciprocated obsession with Bella that he didn't even realise that there was nothing he could do now to prevent this from happening.

"Jake, if you love Bella - like truly love her - you'd know that Bella can make her own choices," Kiara snarled back, frustration crossing her face as she dealt the low blow to try and make her brother see sense. "Please, let's not ruin Bella's day any further. She loves you Jake, but she loves Edward more. She's made her decision, and regardless of what you think is best for her, you need to trust she knows what is right."

Jacob's trembling lips formed a bitter smile. "Trust? Kiara, you don't know what it's like to watch someone you love... to watch them change into something you can't recognize. I don't want to watch Bella die."

Tears welled up in Kiara's eyes as she reached out for the first time, the atmosphere shifting slightly between them. Her hand lightly rested on his shoulder, watching as tears pooled in his eyes too.

"I may not understand everything, Jacob, but I know what it feels like to love someone deeply and be unable to change their path. I can't bear to see you suffer like this, unable to let go of Bella," Kiara said, her voice much softer.

Jacob's eyes met Kiara's, and in that moment, his resistance crumbled. The tough exterior he had built up over the years dissolved, showing the side of him that only Kiara had ever been allowed to see.

"Kiara, I can't lose you too. If Bella becomes a vampire, she and Edward will have eternity together. And you... you'll stay with Rosalie forever. And I don't want to lose you, or her. I can't..."

Kiara's heart ached as she saw the vulnerability in her brother's eyes. She had been torn between her loyalty to pack and her affection for Rosalie for so long, and now she was facing the consequences of her choices. She knew this would happen when she accepted the imprint, but she'd never really stopped to think about what it meant for her twin. They'd been born together, taken their first steps together, said their first words together... and he'd have to die without her.

"Jacob, I love you. But my choice to be with Rosalie doesn't mean I'll stop caring about you. We're still family, no matter what. You won't lose me - you know that. Besides, Paul and Leah would kill me if I didn't come visit often."

Jacob pulled away, his eyes resolute but filled with sorrow. "I can't be here, I need to go."

Kiara nodded, her heart heavy as she watched him walk backwards and towards the treeline. "I understand, Jacob. Just promise me you won't do anything reckless."

Jacob offered a faint, fleeting smile, and then he turned and ran into the forest, his form disappearing into the darkness of the trees. Kiara watched him go, her heart aching, knowing that she might not see him again for a while if he decided to run off again.

Alone in the meadow, Kiara whispered to the fading twilight, "Just one night... one night of fucking peace and quiet would be lovely."

____

As she made her way back to the grand wedding, her footsteps echoing the doubts that had plagued her, Kiara smiled gently as she noticed Rosalie waiting at the treeline, her eyes looking away as she sensed Kiara approaching. Rosalie's golden hair shone in the dimming light, her regal beauty illuminated by a faint, ethereal glow. She wore a knowing smile, and her gaze avoided Kiara's as she tried to not stare at her naked girlfriend.

"Kiara," Rosalie purred, the relief present in her voice, "I thought you might need a change of attire."

Kiara's eyebrows knitted in confusion, but before she could respond, Rosalie produced a small, beautifully wrapped package. It was a deep shade of midnight blue, a color that matched the twilight sky, and was adorned with a white ribbon. Kiara took the package from Rosalie, her fingers brushing against the cold, smooth fabric. The vampire flickered her gaze directly towards Kiara for a moment, a soft smile on her lips.

Rosalie grinned and gestured toward the parcel. "Open it. Alice picked out a spare dress, since she figured you'd need it. She might not be able to see the wolves, but she said she just had a gut feeling you'd somehow rip the original."

Kiara carefully untied the ribbon and revealed the dress within. It was a breathtaking creation, flowing and elegant, the fabric like silk cascading through her fingers. Kiara gasped in delight as she held it up, admiring the intricate lacework and the deep, enchanting hue. Rosalie turned her head around once more as Kiara slipped the smooth dress over her head, humming as it fit her perfectly.

"It's beautiful," Kiara whispered, her voice filled with genuine appreciation.

Rosalie's smile deepened as she turned back around to look at her girlfriend in the moonlight, and she stepped closer to Kiara.

"Just like you," she murmured, her fingers delicately tracing the outline of Kiara's jaw. Their eyes locked, an unspoken understanding passing between them. The turmoil of the day seemed to melt away as their lips met in a fervent, yet tender, kiss. Kiara's heart raced as she savoured the cold warmth of Rosalie's mouth.

The kiss lingered for just a moment before they parted, their breaths mingling in the cool evening air. Rosalie lightly linked their hands, slowing heading back towards the front of the house where Kiara could hear the rest of the guests had begun to gather.

The guests had started to disperse, and the atmosphere was more subdued now, but the air was still tinged with the magic of the day. Kiara leaned against Rosalie, her eyes fixed on the gleaming silver car that was being prepared by Emmett and Beverly for Bella and Edward's departure.

Rosalie's voice broke through her reverie. "It's a nice dress," she commented, her eyes never leaving the car as it disappeared into the distance.

Kiara glanced down at the dress, appreciating the fine fabric and intricate design. "Yes, it is. Alice has a good eye for fashion."

Rosalie turned her attention to Kiara, her gaze lingering on her figure. "I bet you'd slip out of it just as quick as you got into it."

"Is that a challenge?" Kiara's eyes sparkled with a mixture of desire and playful challenge.

"Perhaps." Rosalie's golden eyes darkened with desire as she gazed at her lover.

Before their teasing banter could escalate any further, the wedding guests began to gather around the awaiting car. It was time for Bella and Edward to begin their journey together as husband and wife. Kiara and Rosalie exchanged a knowing look, their playful flirtation temporarily set aside.

Bella emerged from the mansion, her wedding dress exchanged for a more casual ensemble. She wore a simple white blouse and jeans, looking radiant and carefree. Edward, ever the dashing groom, joined her. The couple appeared to be the epitome of love and contentment, and the warm smiles they shared revealed the depth of their bond.

Kiara and Rosalie watched with a shared sense of happiness and melancholy as Bella and Edward approached the car. Their presence did not go unnoticed, and Bella's eyes, still filled with the euphoria of her wedding day, locked onto theirs. She waved with genuine delight, and Edward nodded in their direction, his expression warm and appreciative.

As Bella and Edward climbed into the car, the engine roared to life, and it was time to bid them farewell. The Cullen family gathered around, Alice and Jasper, Emmett and Esme, all there to see the newlyweds off. Rosalie and Kiara stepped forward, joining the small crowd as they waved the couple off. Kiara was sure that she could see Charlie crying with his hand on her father's shoulder, but that was a moment she didn't want to interrupt.

As the car slowly pulled away from the Cullen residence, Bella and Edward's laughter and the sound of the engine filled the night air. Kiara and Rosalie watched the newlyweds drive off into the distance, their hearts heavy with a mix of emotions. Slowly but surely, the guests that had made it to the send-off began to gather their things, wishing each other a safe journey home as they thanked Carlisle for his hospitality.

Rosalie wrapped her arm around Kiara's waist, pulling her close, and whispered in her ear, "Now, where were we?"

Kiara turned to face Rosalie, her eyes filled with a fiery desire that matched her lover's. "Right here, in this beautiful dress."

Their lips met in a passionate kiss, their tongues dancing in a fiery embrace. The world around them faded into obscurity, and for that moment, they were consumed by their love and desire for one another. The lingering taste of their kiss was both a promise and a reminder of the passion they shared.
