Home Alone
I had slept until midday and had woken up curled in Cohen's arms. I was completely trapped, as he was still dead asleep.
I unclutched his hands from my waist and tried to slowly slide out from next to him but his arms curled around me again. I kissed him and held his hands softly and he kissed me back in his sleep and it allowed me to escape. I stood up still and waited to see if he'd woken up.
He hadn't.
I put on joggers as I was just in a t-shirt and I headed for the door. He looked so peaceful, I bet I looked the same when I was sleeping. Last night was perfect.
I felt a little bad for leaving him but I didn't want to wake him up.
I headed downstairs and I saw Eleanor drinking hot chocolate on the couch. She saw me and got up quickly.
"Thank god, someone else is alive." She went to the kitchen and started making me hot chocolate.
"How are you awake?" I asked, knowing that if no one woke her up she could sleep forever. There was once a fire drill at school and she slept through the whole thing.
"Well, the guest room is right opposite your dumb brothers room and when he was leaving this morning he woke me up with his stupid steps and door closing and whatever the hell else he was doing."
"Did he at least apologise?"
"Well, he wasn't sure he woke me up so he opened my door slowly and I had my face in my pillow and gave him the finger," she shrugged and I laughed. "He did say sorry I just couldn't see his face so I don't know if he meant it."
"Oh he did, we all know how important sleep is for you."
"So why have you slept so long, miss 'I get up early to ride horses'?" She questioned, wiggling her eyebrows.
"Cohen and I..." I didn't beat around the bush I just gave her a look and she set down the hot mug she was holding so she could jump up and down.
"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, finally!" She came and hugged me tightly, "How was it? Was he nice? What did you do? On the bed? In the shower? Tell me!"
"I will if you stop asking questions," I laughed.
"Okay, right, sorry," she sprinkled chocolate dust on top of the foam and handed me the mug and we sat down on the table. "Go."
"It was perfect, we've wanted to do it now for a couple weeks and it was just meant to happen, the build up just made it... perfect. He was so gentle, but it was also really..."
"That is so great," she smiled, "I'm so happy for you."
"Thank you." I smiled to myself and added one more thing, "we also told each other the L word."
"You still hadn't?"
"No, and it made all the difference. Because we did it for the first time and then he told me instead of the other way round which just made it all the more-"
"Perfect, I know."
"You were shocked, and my mum was shocked that we hadn't told each other yet," I stated, "but I am also shocked about something."
"What about?" She asked and she took a sip of her hot chocolate.
"About you and my brother." She almost choked.
"No, Luce."
"But, why. It's clearly there. You know what, don't do anything, don't block yourself from him or anything just let things flow, okay. Then it's all up to what's meant to happen. Because making little comments and not facing your feelings is going against nature and you simply cannot do that." She crossed her arms.
"Fine, I will let things flow, you happy?"
"Very much so." I stood up from the table, "now let's get blankets and watch a movie, it's freezing."
"We're watching home alone," she stated.
"Ooo yay."

"This part is so funny," Eleanor said and I laughed at how much she loved this movie. It was the part at the airport when they realised they forgot about Kevin.
"So this is where you disappeared to," I heard from behind me and I saw Cohen coming up behind the couch. I tilted my head back and his hand curled around my neck softly as he leant down and kissed me.
"Morning," He said in a low voice as he smiled.
"Morning," I said back.
"This is very romantic and all but must you talk during the movie?" Eleanor said and I laughed.
"Sorry," he said and came and sat next to me, showing her he was going to stop talking now. She unpaused the movie and I leaned close to him. He put his hand on my upper thigh and kept it there firmly.
"How'd you sleep?" I whispered.
"Very well," he said in a whisper and his breath feathered my skin.
"Good."
"I'd liked to have had you in bed this morning but I can't have everything."
"Sorry baby," I said and kissed him softly and he smiled and shook his head slightly.
"That shouldn't work on me but it did," I giggled.

The movie was almost over and I was half asleep next to Cohen while Eleanor was still watching intently.
He was playing with my hands and then he stroked my hair.
"Sweetheart, wake up, Gray and your mum are back." I opened my eyes and yawned.
"The movie is almost over he better not come in here and make noise." Eleanor said.
"Have you eaten?" I shook my head.
"Luce," he said.
"You haven't either."
"I didn't want to move, and its different."
"Merry christmas eve," I heard my mum say. She came into the loundroom and Graham followed behind her. Eleanor paused the movie looking sad but she turned it into a smile for my mum.
I went to get up, "no it's alright you look comfortable, I'll go heat up the leftovers." She kissed my forehead and then went to the kitchen.
"Hey Gray, how was it?"
"Tiring," he huffed and sat between me and Eleanor. "What were youse watching?"
"Home Alone, and you very kindly interrupted," Eleanor said impatiently. He turned to her and laughed.
"Hello to you too," he said and got the remote, "and I apologise, I love this movie."
"You like home alone?" She asked him.
"Yeah, it's one of my favorites, now will you stop talking?" He asked and she nodded.
Cohen and I looked at eachother with smiles.
"Let's go eat," Cohen said and he and I got up.
"Movies about to finish," Len said.
"Yeah 5 more minutes and we'll be there." He added and they both never looked away from the screen.
"This is like waiting for Luke and Lorelai to get together," I whispered on the way to the kitchen.
"They were friends though, this might take longer," Cohen replied and I gave him a look.
"You've seen Gilmore Girls?"
"Well you used to talk about it so much when you first watched it years ago so I watched it."
"Oh my god I have so much to ask you. Firstly, and very important, this may just determine the future of our relationship... Dean, Jess or Logan?"
"First of all, I didn't really like Dean at all. Bit of a twat. I didn't really like Rory either but she was best with Logan and Jess is my favourite out of the guys."
"Very good answer," I said and kissed him briefly before we walked into the kitchen.
