Chapter 32: Hatred
Andy's POV:
After Dei broke up with Stenla yesterday, Dei hated Peter. She would go around the house ignoring him and didn't bother to even look at him. Peter did the same as well. "Mommy, why is auntie and dad ignoring each other?" I sighed. "They're just mad at each other right now. They'll eventually make up for it." I knew they would never get along again. I sat next to Peter and was about to tell him to let Dei see Stenla again but. "Hell no. You should know Andy that she betrayed us. We shouldn't even be talking to her." I sighed again. I forgot how stubborn Peter can be. I went into Dei's room and ducked when a tentacle was lashed at me. "Oh it's you. Mind leaving me alone for now Andy? Don't even try to get me to talk with HIM..." "Damn it, now what?" I looked at the calendar and realized that Margaret's and Claus's wedding is coming up in at least 3 days. "Alright Andy, you have 3 days to convince Peter to let Dei see Stenla. Let's do this."
Day 1:
Andy's POV:
I sat next to Peter and of course sweet talk him about the situation. "No Andy, as much as I love you, I'm not letting Dei see her again." So much for sweet talk. "Mom?" I looked down at Aberl. "Yes sweetie?" "I made a hole in my room." "Da fuc-"
Day 2:
Margaret's POV:
We heard some crashing noises in Andy's house and when we went in, everything was a mess. I saw Andy in his other form throwing an axe at Peter but he missed. They both looked at us. "Um, can you guys come back in an hour or so?" Claus shrugged and pulled me out of their house. "What's with them?" I looked at Claus and he explained the whole situation. "Hmmm, I think I know a way to get them to talk..."
Day 3 (night before the wedding):
Andy's POV:
Me, Aberl, Melody, Dei, & Margaret were busy talking about the big day tomorrow. Aberl was playing with Melody & Dei until Margaret pulled me into the hall. "Andy, I think I know a way of helping you with your problem." I looked at her with relief. "Please help me. I can't stand them not getting along." She told me how we're both gonna convince Dei into talking with Peter and how we can see why she isn't talking to him. Claus is also doing the same thing with Peter back at their house. We grabbed Dei and dragged her into her room. "What now Andy?" Me and Margaret looked at each other and I took a step back and let Margaret do the talking. "Andy told me about your situation dear. Mind telling me you aren't talking to your brother?" She huffed and sat next to her. We all knew Margaret is the mother of our group and we can always tell her anything that comes in our mind. "I'm not talking to him because he forbid me from ever talking to Stenla ever again." "Well, don't you think what your brother is doing is protecting you?" Dei looked at her confused and then started thinking. "I- I never really thought about it like that but why would he protect me from her?" Margaret held her hand and explained to her about how Stenla betrayed us and all. "Well, I think Stenla really didn't have a choice. What if her sister blackmailed her or threaten her? Also, she was desperate to get rid of the virus inside of her. I mean I understand why she did it but Peter doesn't..." I think we got through with her. I hope Claus got better luck in talking with Peter.
Claus's POV:
"Look Peter, don't you think you're hurting your sister by not letting her go see Stenla?" Peter crossed his arms and looked at me. "I'm doing this for her safety, the problem is that she doesn't get it. She knows what Stenla did to us and yet she still loves her." "Have you ever thought about this situation in her point of view?" Peter stopped talking and started thinking. "I- I never thought of it like that..." "Peter, everyone has different ways of looking at the world. The only thing you can get along with her is understand how she sees the world. You see it as a world filled with hate, anger, and betrayal. She sees it as a world with hope, freedom, and a change. Maybe you'll see it too." Felix yawned and started settling down in the couch. "Well, it's getting late. We all need a good night sleep. I hope you understand what's going on he-" Peter went to the door and started running back to his house. I think I finally got through.
Peter's POV:
I ran back to the house. I wanted to apologize to Dei. I should have thought of what she wanted. I just thought about our protection and what we need. I haven't thought about what she wanted. I made it to the house and started knocking. I saw Dei open the door and hugged her. "I'm sorry Dei..." She hugged me back.
"I'm sorry too..."
