"You okay (Y/n)....?" Pepper asked me.

"I'm slowly losing my mind." I replied honestly. "The end is about to begin Pep... and I don't have to watch the movie to guess how this will goes with my five years here... but I'm in denial."

"You're drinking too much wine." She sighed but didn't stop me.

"Technically 21 Pep, technically 21." I smiled.

"You're always 9 to me, and that's a compliment." She smiled back.

I looked at Morgan, she was playing with an Avengers model toy set, she was hitting Captain America with Iron man doll repeatedly, that made me laugh out for some reason.

Then it just left me a sad smile on my face.

   "I know what you're thinking."

"..." I looked at Pepper with my lips opened a little, maybe trying to look like I had no idea what she was talking about, but she saw through me.

Pepper looked at Morgan with that same old smile, though with sadness in her eyes. "Something's gotta give."

"Something, I always told you, not someone."

"Whether it's anyone, there's always in need of a sacrifice."

"I'll volunteer for that harder than Katniss ever could."

"Morgan," She cut me off, the little Stark cane running to her mum, Pepper looked outside the glass mirror. "The situation's looking bad, can you please go out there and save daddy?"

She was a little confused, but then she put her dark hair behind her ears and nodded. "Okay."

We watched she ran out to save Tony.

"Mama told me to come and save you."

   "Good job. I'm saved."

My eyes watered again, why am I so sensitive to cuteness?

"You're as easy to read like watching a movie, if I ever wanna know what happens next I would just picture myself as you. And now all I could feel is sadness, even smiling, you're so sad." Pepper told me.

"That's... not something to be concerned honestly. I am sad like twenty-four seven. If I'm not sad, that's when something's off."

"That's not true. The first time you saw Morgan you look like the happiest person alive. But now every time you looked at..." She pointed at Steve and Tony. "...Them, you're sad."

  "..."

   "You're gonna be okay?"

"I'm not sure Pep..." I replied honestly.

"But you know we're gonna be okay, don't you?" She said it just as honest.

   "He's scared." Natasha said.

   "He's not wrong."

I just walked along with them, looking back into the cabin, wondering if he's just not in yet for the plot's sake or is he really giving up.

"Yeah, but, what are we-- what are we gonna do?" Scott stuttered. "What-- are we gonna stop?"

"Something tells me he will help us." I whispered at Natasha.

"Judging from that... not likely." Steve sighed.

"I'll have to convince him." I muttered.

"No, I wanna make it right." Cap stopped to think. "We're gonna need a really big brain."

   "Bigger than his?!" Scott asked.

"Oh. Big boy Bruce." I said. "You guys... have fun."

"What, you're not coming with us?" Scott asked me.

"I think I'm gonna stay to see if I can talk him out." Then I stopped to think. "Or... maybe I shouldn't."

"Stay." Nat tapped my shoulder. "It'll be no problem asking Bruce's help, we can manage. I know you wanna look over Tony, by that I mean convince him for us."

"You know he's gonna give up and help you guys eventually with or without my help." I smiled.

"I know." She let me stayed anyway.

I waved them goodbye then walked inside the cabin, wonder where this place in the real world is, after the movie is out I bet fans would love to spend their time here.

Tony knew they let me stayed to convince him, so sassily, he ignored me with a pout. We had dinners and he finished so quickly then walked away.

"What's up with daddy?" Morgan asked.

"He's being Tony Stark." I told her.

Finally, I found a way to get a conversation with him, because Pepper told him to wash the dishes and I agreed to help. We were in front of the sink, washing them plates.

   "Hey--"

"I know what you're gonna say. Don't." He said.

"I was gonna ask that, if you're so rich, why don't you buy a dishwasher?"

   "Oh."

He took it to some thoughts then shrugged, a couple of seconds later he spilled the water all over us from the sink.

"Ah... crap. I really should have bought the dishwasher."

He tried to wipe the water off then saw a picture in a frame through the corner of his eyes, he looked at me and looked kinda suspicious.

"Aren't you gonna wipe that off?" I asked.

He bit his lips and took it out, just for me to realize the reason Tony Stark didn't have a dishwasher was because... of the plot. So he can look at Peter's picture with him sadly.

"We spent the five years blaming his death... their death on ourselves. Sometimes I wonder what we get from doing that." I muttered.

   "Self-hatred."

"Why are you hating yourself from getting the second chance?" I asked.

   "..."

"Listen. You told us yourself that you shouldn't be alive after that cave, but you did, so it must have been for a reason, I'd say not a reason, but for reasons. Morgan was one of them, and this, Tony,"

   I grabbed his hands.

"Is another reason. Is the second chance."

He had tears a little but he laughed it off. "That was so motivational."

   "You ready?"

   "Ehh---"

I teased sarcastically. "Hey, maybe you won't even know how to build this thing because you're not that smart, I bet Elon Musk can, anyway he's dead in this universe so that's the whole movie."

   "Sometimes I wanna kill you."

   "Tell me about it."

I tried to help just to sleep while Tony Stark was working hard then woke up later when he was already done building a time machine.

"Where's Tony?" I asked Pep, checking if I'd drooled myself in my sleep.

"Tucking Morgan to bed." She told me, she was reading something.

"No... I love doing that." I was about to go up but Tony already walked down.

"Not that's it's competition, but she loves me 3000." He told Pepper.

"Oh does she now?" She said.

"You were somewhere below... six to nine hundred range."

"Wait she loves you 3000?" I asked.

"Yeah." He said proudly.

"That's not fair, she said she loved me 20, I thought that was a big number." Well I am surely sad now.

They laughed, then after the hush fell over is, Tony glanced at me, that he needed a serious talk with her alone, I nodded repeatedly then excused myself away.

In my bedroom in the cabin, I put on Peter's jacket, sat on the bed then hugged myself. Natasha called me to check if the past week has been easy for me, if Tony will help, and that they turned Scott into a baby. (What the heck happened?"

I didn't tell her much, in the end it's not my decision to make, not like I could anyway. I zoned out staring outside the window.

"I love Morgan 3000 though." I muttered then chuckled alone.

I looked at the picture in the frame on my nightstand, my picture with Peter.

"I love you 3000, Peter."

Then I thought of Thanos's ugly ass face.

"I fucking hate you 3000 million."

"Are you gonna be okay?" Tony asked, laying against my door as if he was Steve checking on people.

"Oh... hey? You done talking with Pep?"

"Yup. I heard you were talking alone, I came to check if you are still not going crazy."

"I'm totally crazy. Duh." Then we smiled at each other in silence. "How did it go?"

"She didn't stop me can you believe that?" He said surprisingly.

"Oh Pepper doesn't try to stop you shit is going down."

"It is. I'm bringing it in to them this Wednesday."

"Bringing what in?"

His brain works faster than he mouth. "The time machine's model, to Steve."

"Wait, you're really joining them. Holy shit, wait, I might get Peter back? Everyone back!? Holy fuck!" I realized that then jumped and had a happy mental breakdown.

"Calm down... Technically it's possible but you know how everything can go wrong." He sighed.

"I know... but holy shit, we're going back in time to get the stone. Then how will Thanos star in this one...? He's dead..."

But alive in the past?

I'm confused.

"(Y/n)."

He called all my conscious back with one simple word of my name.

"What can you tell me about Morgan?" He looked at me with tears I didn't comprehend.

Ugh, shit where are all my comic knowledge.

"Ugh... she's new."

"...new?"

"There's a Morgan Stark, but in the comic he's your cousin, and he didn't show you much love." I gave him a wry smile.

"Alright, Imma just get to the point. (Y/n), if I'm doing this, and I don't make it... Will she be okay?"

"Tony you're not gonna--"

"You know there's a chance, I can see the headline from your world even from here, Will Tony Stark die in--- Whatever the hell they call this movie."

"..." I did an oopsie.

"Never mind. Sometimes it's better off not knowing. Wednesday we're gonna pay Captain handsome a visit, I will drive in with my car, we'll both be wearing sunglasses, looking cool as hell, prepare some clothes to show him I'm the boss too." He was gonna walk out.

"Hey."

"Yeah?" He did that side eye roll.

"I don't know much anymore..."

"..."

"But Morgan will always love you 3000."
