If you are a fellow author, please read this note.

Someone called Doc Truyen is stealing stories off of Wattpad and posting them on their own website. They have not gotten the author's consent nor are the authors aware of this happening. To find out if this has been done to you and to file a copyright infringement, please read the following.

Search the name of your story and your Wattpad username. If there is a website with Doc Truyen in the name and it has your story, click on it and copy the URL of the website immediately. Do not leave the website without copying the URL as this is very important. If you leave the website, you won't be able to access the story again.

Next, search wattpad.com/help/DMCA to get to the copyright infringement form. Fill out the form according to the steps. You will also need the URL of your original Wattpad story, which, if you are using the app, you can find by searching your story title, username, and Wattpad. For example, to find my story you would search "Please Let Me Die Shadowheart34 Wattpad." Copy that URL as well, and paste it in the appropriate box on the infringement form.

Note that it may be a good idea to paste the Doc Truyen URL in the "infringing websites" box before retrieving your original story URL. If we can report Doc Truyen enough times, Wattpad can ban them. So please, if your story has been stolen, fill out a copyright infringement form. You can even fill them out if you don't own the story.

I am making others aware of this as I just discovered that this story was stolen. I filed a copyright infringement of my own for this as I will not allow people to steal my story. Please don't let someone steal your story and get away with it.
