Worthy
A/N: I still don't own Marvel, so no credit!
Warnings: none
"Thor. You suck." Clint pouted.
"I am sorry you are not worthy man of arrows." Thor smirked victoriously.
Tony muttered something under his breath about pranks and special effects. Thor excused himself, leaving the Avengers to try and figure out how to lift the hammer.
"Mr. Stark!" Peter Parker came running in the room where all the Avengers were sitting.
"What's up, kiddo?" Tony smiled at his sort-of son.
"I can't find my Calculus homework!"
The Avengers in the room laughed. They had grown fond of Peter and his antics.
"Umm. Sorry, kid." Clint pointed at the table where Thor's hammer rested. "You have to be worthy to get your homework."
Sure enough, the homework was directly under the hammer. Peter smiled and ran to it, not having been told of the story of Thor's hammer.
He causally lifted the hammer and retrieved his homework.
"What did you mean by worthy?" Peter questioned, setting down the surprisingly light hammer.
"Man of spiders!" Thor boomed as he walked in the room, clueless as to what had just happened. "Would you like to test your worthiness?"
Peter frowned, confused.
"He already has. Show him kid!" Tony grinned proudly.
"What do you mean?" Peter was still very confused. He just came to get his homework. Being 'worthy' of anything could wait.
"Only the worthy can lift Thor's hammer." Tony smiled.
Peter smiled slightly. "Mr. Stark. Just because you know I get bullied now, doesn't mean you have to try and lift my self-esteem. I'm good."
"You get bullied!" Clint and Natasha yelled at the same time.
"Yeah. But, it's fine. I'm handling it." Peter smiled shyly.
"Kid. I'm not lying to raise your self-esteem." Tony huffed slightly.
"That what you said when you told me that the apple juice you gave me the other day could only be 'consumed by a real hero.' I'm not stupid, Mr. Stark." Peter grinned at the memory.
"You told him-" Clint was cut off by his own hysterical laughter as Tony blushed a deep red.
"Shut up. But, I'm not lying this time kid." Tony stood next to the hammer. "Watch." He tried to lift it with all his might, digging his feet into the ground and pulling.
"He is not lying, Son of Parker." Thor grinned, "Only the worthy can hold the hammer, and Tony isn't worthy."
Tony Stark pouted slightly.
"Mr. Thor, that can't be true." Peter grabbed the hammer and lifted it up. "See?"
Thor was shocked for a minute. Then, a large grin spread over his face. "The little spider is worthy!!!!" He grabbed Pete in a giant hug and ran off with him.
"Hey! Thor! Bring the kid back!" Tony shouted, running after him.
"No! He will rule Asgard!"
Okay. I came up with this. I hope it was good!
I am thinking of writing like an actual book on Peter Parker. It would start after the spider bite, and just be my ideas for Peter. Comment if you think that's a good idea. I'm not totally sure about it, but I'm kind of stuck already here. If you have an idea for a one shot, please comment! I don't have any ideas at the moment. Thanks for reading!
Bye!
