Truth or DNA (request)
We are going to Texas-probably stupid because it's a COVID hotspot right now, but we apparently don't care-and my brother keeps using a really bad southern accent-probably closer to Tennessee than Texas accent-and walking around talking about belt buckles and rattlesnake skin hats and I don't-I don't know what to do with him. And I still don't own Marvel.
This was requested through messages, so it's anonymous unless they say otherwise.
Warnings: anxiety and panic attacks. Parley, because it's cute and makes me happy.
"Hi, Peter!" Natasha greeted, moving over in the circle of Avengers in the floor to let the teen sit between her and Tony. She had grown quite fond of Tony's "intern."
"Hi, Tasha." He smiled shyly and sat down, pushing his backpack to sit next to the couch. "What are we doing?"
Tony smiled softly at the teen. "We are playing truth or dare. Want to join, kid?"
Peter shifted and looked at his backpack for a second, then turned back to the Avengers. "Sure, I can finish my homework later."
Everyone cheered, and the game began.
Steve was asked about his most memorable moment with Peggy, and the second he said 'kiss,' Natasha placed her hands over Peter's ears, causing him to laugh.
Bruce was dared to play a first person shooter game until he died, and there were quite a few close calls with the big guy.
Clint was dared to dance around in a tutu. He scoffed and asked which one, proudly displaying his costume box filled with tutus and tiaras.
Natasha was asked to tell about her happiest childhood memory, and everyone hugged her as she talked about the closest thing she had to a good memory in the red room. They apparently did this every time with Natasha, because they wanted her to know she could open up to them.
Finally, it was Tony's turn.
"Dare." He said, staring down Natasha proudly.
"I dare you to take a DNA test with Peter." Natasha smirked.
Peter and Tony laughed. "Still on the father-son thing, huh? Okay."
Tony carefully helped Peter collect his DNA and gave it to FRIDAY to analyze.
"While we are waiting...Peter. Truth or Dare?" Tony smiled at the kid as he pulled an exaggerated thinking face.
"Dare." Peter said confidently.
"I dare you to call the contact with all the heart emojis on your phone and put it on speaker." Tony smirked.
The Avengers rioted.
"Peter!"
"Do you have a girlfriend? Boyfriend? Datemate?"
"Why did I not know about this?"
Peter ignored this, pulling out his phone and shushing everyone as he clicked the contact labeled ❤️💕❤️💕🥰🥰😍😍😘, pressed call and put it on speaker.
"Hey, Darlin'. What's up?" A southern drawl came out of the phone. Tony's eyes widened, and he stared at the phone in shock. Everyone else leaned in closer to hear.
"Hey, Harley. I was dared to call you on speaker. We are with the Avengers right now." Peter's voice was soft, and he was blushing lightly as everyone stared at him.
"Well, hiya, Avengers." Harley called. "I've got to go, though. I miss you, babe. I'll be back before you know it. Love ya, sweetheart."
"Love you too, babe." Peter ended the call and looked at the shocked Avengers, his face burning red.
Just then, FRIDAY interrupted, saving Peter from awkward questions and Tony's annoyance that he couldn't figure out his two favorite teens were dating.
"I have the results of the DNA test."
"Oh!" Tony looked at the ceiling, a bad habit he picked up from the other Avengers. "Go ahead." He started fidgeting with the watch that held his portable repulser.
"Excluding modified DNA, it is a 49.8% match." FRIDAY declared.
In a matter of a few seconds, a lot happened. Tony and Peter jumped, Tony accidentally pressing the button on his watch to activate the repulser. It shot straight at Peter, who jumped to the ceiling automatically to avoid it.
There was silence for a second, and then Peter dropped to the floor. "That was an eventful few seconds." He muttered. He turned to Tony before the Avengers started shouting. "You're-you're my dad?"
"I guess I am, ki-son." Tony's eyes were suspiciously wet as Peter tackled him with a hug.
"I love you, dad." He muttered.
"I love you too." Tony whispered.
Then, the Avengers exploded.
"Awww! That is adorable!"
"You're Spider-Man!"
"Tony, did you know that?"
Tony and Peter shared a look, and walked away, ignoring the Avengers and going to figure out their newly confirmed father-son relationship. In the end, not much changed because they acted like father and son anyways, but Peter called Tony dad, and Tony occasionally called Peter son, and Pepper was honored to be called mom when Peter approached her about it.
The End.
I hope you enjoyed!
Bye!
