Old Man Steve (request)

I was lied to. I was told that if I wished for something really hard at 11:11 it would come true, but I checked and I still don't own Marvel.

This was a request by @TBSAAHAY123. I hope you like it!

Warnings: ...idk.

Peter had always been obsessed with the idea of family. Maybe it was because he lost his parents at such a young age, but he was determined to know every living member of his family. He knew his grandparents on his father's side were scientists who had died during a freak accident at the lab they worked at. He knew his dad was Richard Parker. He knew his mom was Mary Parker, and was the daughter of Peggy Carter. Mary was an only child, but Richard was the younger brother to Ben Parker, who married May Parker nee Lynn. She was an only child, and her parents had died long ago.

The only thing he didn't know was who his mom's dad was.

He had tried to find him, but his mother was born before Peggy married her husband, in fact, only two months after she met him, and she hadn't had any records of a lover before then. Peggy had died a few months ago, and even then she had trouble remembering anything, so she couldn't have told him herself.

As he was pondering this again, wondering if Mr. Stark could help him on his quest, he missed FRIDAY telling him there were guests in the living room.

"Hey, Mr. Stark!" Peter shouted as he left the elevator. "I was wondering if you would help me find any records of Peggy Carter having a lover before she got...married..."

Tony was smiling fondly at him, surrounded by Rogue Avengers. Peter knew they had apologized and signed the Accords, and Tony had forgiven them, so Peter did too.

"Uh...hi! I'm Peter Parker. Sorry, am I interrupting?"

"Not at all, son." Steve-Captain America!-said. "We were just finishing. You're Tony's intern? Spider-Man? Queens?"

Peter glanced at Tony and nodded. "That's me."

Steve stepped forward to shake his hand. "Nice to meet you, son. I'm curious, though. Why do you want to know about Peggy Carter?"

Tony laughed. "Yeah, kid. Her 'lover' is right in front of you."

Peter blinked. "Wait. Really? I just wanted to know because she was my grandma. She had my mom two months after she met her husband, and there is no record of her ever having had a relationship with anyone else."

Steve choked. "Peggy had a kid?"

Tony glanced between the two. "I think she had your kid, Cap."

Peter smiled awkwardly. Steve glanced down at the teenager, who was apparently his grandson.

"Confirmed." FRIDAY announced suddenly. "Genetic scans reveal a relatively high amount of shared DNA, matching that of a maternal grandfather."

Peter grinned brightly. "Then, hi, Grandpa!"

Steve gulped. "Uhh. Hi."

The rest of the Avengers slowly burst into laughter. "Grandpa Steve!"

"Old man!"

Peter ignored them, and hugged the Captain. "I'm glad I met you." He muttered. "I don't have a lot of family. My parents died when I was little. I guess that means your daughter died before you could meet her. It's just me and my Aunt May. And Tony-he's practically my dad anyways."

Steve hugged the kid back softly, careful not to hurt him with his super strength. "I'm glad I met you, too."

They pulled away, and Tony promptly captured his kid in a hug. "Finished your quest to find all your family, then?"

Peter nodded. As he glanced around the Avengers, all clamoring to say hi and get him to call them his aunts and uncles, he thought he might have to add a few more people to the family tree.

The End.

Hope you enjoyed!

Bye!
