Brothers (request)
I feel like I accidentally became the orthodontic problem child because my teeth are too small and I'm missing molars, and they've tried twice to fit something in my mouth and it didn't work, twice. My teeth are apparently too small and they need to custom make something to go around them. I wasn't really following cause my mouth hurt. They are trying again next week, but today the lady who was working with me said she was going to quit and I feel bad. Anyways, I don't own Marvel.
This was a request by @choochooplanes. I hope you enjoy!
Warnings: bullying, language.
It was just a piece of paper. That's all! Just one measly little slip of paper.
What the paper said, however, was causing great distress to two teenagers currently sitting in the back of a limo with the divider up so they could talk freely.
"Why? Why me?"
"I can't believe this. I can't believe this!"
Peter and Harley were horrified. They were going on a field trip to Stark Towers with their shop class, and they just knew it would blow up in their faces.
Peter was a nerd in the eyes of the school. The only thing notable about him was that he said he had a Stark Internship. Technically, it was Ned's fault. He would never have told anyone if he could help it. No one believed him or Ned, though.
Harley, on the other hand, was relatively popular. He was the new kid, from Tennessee, and everyone liked him. He hadn't yet told anyone he also had an internship.
They both had left each other alone in school, because no matter how close they were, Peter wanted Harley to have his own name, separate from 'Penis Parker.' Harley had tried to fight it, but it's hard to fight Peter's puppy eyes. He eventually gave in.
Going to Stark Towers would put them in a very compromising position. Tony Stark was sure to embarrass both of them. He had adopted Peter after his aunt died. A few months later, he adopted Harley when his mom kicked him out. He loved embarrassing his sons.
"Maybe we can just not tell him?" Peter said hopefully.
Harley turned to his slightly younger adoptive brother. "You really think Dad isn't going to find out that we are going on a trip to his tower?"
Peter sighed. "No."
"The only thing we can do is prepare. We must be mentally ready for the embarrassment or it'll end us." Harley stated solemnly.

A few days passed. Tony had signed their permission slips while smirking. It wasn't a good sign.
Now, it was the day of the field trip.
Peter was sitting in the back of the bus with Ned and MJ, and Harley was up front with a bunch of girls Peter didn't know the names of and some guys on the soccer team. Flash was hovering near Harley, attempting to get into his group, but Harley knew he was the one who bullied Peter the most, and refused to look at him.
They pulled up and walked into the tower lobby. Harley and Peter shared a glance, fortifying themselves for the torture that could come.
They had come up with a plan. Harley would take the spotlight, because it would only make him more popular. Peter would hide in the back so no one connected them or even remembered he was there.
Harley wasn't a fan of the plan, but again, puppy eyes.
So far, it had worked. Harley was greeted by interns and workers and they students all looked at him in awe. Once, Uncle Clint had popped out of the vents, but had to leave before he could say hi to Peter. He did wave at Harley, though.
"Parker! See how no one is noticing you? I knew you lied. Harley is the kind of person they accept, not a loser like you." Flash bugged Peter.
Peter just stared straight ahead and ignored him.
A few times, Peter was approached by a worker or an intern, but Peter was sure to lead them out of sight so no one noticed. He was almost caught when his favorite intern, a freshman in college named Sid, wanted help on his coding. He was able to pull Sid out of sight before anyone noticed, luckily, and he was glad to help with the code.
"The last stop! A Q&A with Tony Stark himself!" The tour guide shouted excitedly.
Peter froze. Harley glances back at him quickly, a look of terror upon his features. They were screwed.
The class filed into a conference room, chattering about Harley and his internship. Harley gracefully deflected questions and turned the attention to the stage.
After a few tense minutes for Peter and Harley, Tony came on stage.
"Welcome Midtown Tech!" Tony smirked. "Normally, I don't do Q&As, but I have two kids to embarrass."
Tony glanced around, seeing Harley, but not Peter. He frowned. "Harley, where's Peter?"
The class shifted and muttered, several people turning to face Peter. Peter sighed. "I'm here."
He stepped out from behind Ned and tried his hardest to ignore the stares burning into his skin. He could feel his face heating up from the attention.
"Hey, kid." Tony said softly, noticing his youngest son's discomfort. He held out an arm, and Peter gratefully tucked himself under it, hiding from the eyes of his classmates. Harley stood up and gave Tony an awkward side-hug.
The class was amazed, Flash especially. Here they were, seeing Harley Keener give Tony Stark a hug while Peter Parker was safely pulled against the billionaire's chest.
"No way Penis knows Tony Stark!" Flash thought.
"What was that?" Tony asked, murderously.
Flash gulped. Maybe he hadn't thought that.
Peter pulled himself tighter against his dad after hearing Flash's yell. He felt Tony's chest rumble as he shouted and ranted at Flash, never releasing his son from the comforting hug.
When Peter finally emerged, the class was gone.
"Pete, why didn't you tell me?" Tony asked softly, running his hand through Peter's hair.
"I didn't want you to worry. I could handle it." He muttered.
"Maybe you could have, but you didn't have to." Tony gently started guiding Pete upstairs.
"Harley is making popcorn, but you can pick out the movie. Okay?"
Peter smiled. He loved his family.
The End.
I feel like that wasn't exactly the direction I intended to go, but it worked, I think. I hope you enjoyed!
Bye!
