You tightened your ponytail and adjusted your mask after. Your finger tips tapped the button on your police radio that was placed on your belt. Walking up closer to the edge looking down at the city, waiting.
"Hey," You felt a smile appear on your face as your favorite person greeted you. Emotions swirled in your belly at the sight of him.
"Hey, webhead." You replied grinning and walked over to him. Spider-Man lifted his mask up so, that you could see the bottom half of his face. His lips parted as if he was going to talk to you until your police radio started to speak.
"A male in his forties has been reported around Dobson. He is to be believed to be Jacob Labinski, a prison escapee. Most likely armed and dangerous."
"You up for it, Webhead?" You held out your hand to him, waiting to teleport him over to Dobson. He shook his head.
"Nah, the last time we did the whole teleportation, I-" He looked at you with his white eyes on his mask widening. "Actually, maybe it's best I don't tell you. Let's just swing over."
He took your hand and pulled you close to him. His hands wrapping around your waist, you still felt anxious even though you've swung with him a million times before.

You wrapped your legs and arms tighter around him as he looked for Labinski. Not wanting to let go but you knew he would never let that happen. You looked over his shoulder down.
"Found him!" Spider-Man claimed and landed on top of a medium sized building. You released your hold on Spider-Man and looked down into alley next to him. Jacob was next to a husband and a wife. The wife held onto her husband sobbing. She pulled off her wedding ring to give to him but Jacob slapped it out of her hands angrily.
"Okay, so the plan is-" Spiderman turned to talk to you but you already teleported behind Jacob. He sighed before speaking to himself. "I hate when she does that."
You tapped on his shoulder, Jacob turned around with the gun faced at you. You laughed before teleporting behind him, you kicked his knees from out beneath him. He fell onto his chest with a grunt, his chin clipping the ground. His gun flew against the alley wall but not enough to set it off. Spider-Man took the opportunity of Jacob disarmed and webbed his hands together. You turned around to face the couple ready to help.
"Are you guys okay?" You questioned looking for any wounds, they shook their heads with relief and thanked you both graciously. The man rubbed his wife's back comfortably as she held on to him.
"Don't worry, He won't do anything to you ever again." Spider-Man reassured before the couple screamed in terror. Their faces going immediately pale as the color drained in fear. You heard a gun click and whipped your head around to see Jacob pointing his gun. You were ready to teleport them away but now your focus was to keep Jacob away. His finger just inching to pull the trigger.
"I wouldn't be to sure about that. Prison was easy to get out of with these powers." His hands turned bright red to indicate that he could make heat. "So, a couple webs couldn't keep me contained."
"You don't wanna do this." The husband replied from behind you. He was trying to reason kindly even though he shook with fear.
"You did this to me." Jacob screamed and shot off the gun pointed at him. You opened a portal and sent them both through it. They appeared at the opening of the alley way of the other side, the couple set off running to get help. "You bitch."
Spider-Man webbed his eyes closed and Jacob accidentally shot off his gun, the bullet grazing your arm. You hissed in pain and looked down at your bleeding shoulder.
"Shadow!" Spider-Man screamed running over to you, Jacob tore off the webbing and raised his gun to shoot Spider-Man now. Without a second thought, you grabbed his shoulder used your strength to push him to stand in front of him.
The bullet ripped through your shoulder instantly and the skin around your wound screamed in pain. You felt the burning pain erupt throughout your body. The wound started gushing excessive amounts of blood. You gritted your teeth and a pain filled scream let out of your mouth uncontrollably.
Your knees went weak as you started fall back and Spider-Man's strong arms caught you. Immediately, wrapping around your waist. You heard his labored anxious breathing, you looked around to see Jacob with neither of your eyes watching him. Jacob was running down the alley way most likely to get revenge.
Using whatever power you had left you opened up a portal, sending him back to New York's prison. The use of teleportation and the wounds you received made it more difficult. Your nose started to bleed as if to warn you that you couldn't use your powers for the time being, your strength completely drained.
Spider-Man held you around your waist and applied pressure to your wound. The extreme pain started to seem dull as you looked at Spider-Man. The blood seeped through his hands and he started to cry. You had never heard him cry before, you put your hand over his.
"Why would you do that?"
"It's you. What wouldn't I do for you?" You smiled weakly before reaching your hand out to touch his mask. "I would do it without hesitation. I would do it again and again."
