Opening your eyes slowly, you realized the movie you and Peter had started to watch had already ended. You rubbed your eyes, trying to get rid of the sleepiness and sat up straighter, yawning. You looked over at Peter who had passed out on the couch as well.
You scratched the back of your neck and stood up, searching for your phone that had sunk between the cushions. You finally found it and looked at the time, seeing it was way past your curfew.
You looked over at Peter who was still sleeping peacefully and decided not to wake him up. Instead, you went over to him and grabbed the remote that he was holding and shut off the TV. You then grabbed a duvet and placed it over Peter before bending down a bit to place a soft, gentle kiss on Peter's cheek. "Bye." You whispered and ran your fingers through his soft hair.
You grabbed your belongings and headed out of the apartment, making sure to do it as quietly as possible in the fear of waking either Peter or May.
You stepped outside of the building, feeling the cool wind send shivers through your body. You crossed your arms and ran your hands up and down, trying to warm up a bit.
You looked around the area while you continued your way to the tower. It was very quiet and it was scaring you a little bit.
It felt like someone was watching you. You looked around, seeing no one around. You shook your head, thinking you were just feeling a bit paranoid. You continued your way, trying to calm yourself.
You walked past an alley and felt a hand being placed on your arm. You were just about to scream but a hand clamped your mouth shut and your screams were muffled.
You felt someone grab your backpack and you tried to pull it back without success. You tried to wriggle free from the hold the person had on you with no luck on that either. You were starting to panic and the only thing that came to your mind was to bite on the hand that was covering your mouth.
That's what you did and the person holding you pulled back a little, holding his hand in pain. "The little bitch bit me!" He yelled out and looked to the other guy who was with him.
You took your chance and started to run away only to be caught again. One of the men held your hands behind your back and kicked the back of your knees, making you fall to the ground with a yelp of pain. You saw one of the men raise their hand, ready to either slap or punch you and you closed your eyes, preparing yourself for the hit that didn't come. You only heard the man groan in pain and the other quickly let go of you.
You opened your eyes, seeing the all too familiar red-suited hero fighting the two men while you crawled over to your backpack, checking to see if they had taken anything from you. You sighed in relief as you realized you still had everything in your backpack. You then looked up, seeing Peter knocking out a guy, sending him on the ground with the other guy right there next to him.
You stood up, brushing some dirt off your clothes as you calmed your breathing, looking at Peter who was making his way towards you. "Thank you." You said quietly.
"Why did you leave?" Peter asked, taking off his mask. "It's so late. What if I didn't wake up? Can you imagine what could have happened if I wasn't here to save you?" His voice raised, clearly getting angrier. You opened your mouth to tell him you were fine but he caught you off. "Don't you dare tell me you—"
"Alright!" You yelled out, interrupting him. "It was stupid of me, it's my fault, I get it." You said and crossed your arms. "I'm sorry." You muttered out, tapping your foot on the ground.
Peter sighed and his shoulders relaxed as he came over to you, seeing you still shaking from what happened before. He placed a hand on your cheek and you looked at him with tears in your eyes. He wrapped an arm around you and kissed the top of your head softly before pulling you in for a hug. You wrapped your arms around him as you blinked the way the tears. You were fine, Peter had gone to your rescue, you didn't want to cry.
"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have left alone."
"You should have at least called Tony to come pick you up."
"And listen to him yell at me for missing my curfew? No, thank you."
Peter pulled away, placing his hands on your arms as he looked you in the eye. "Better than getting mugged or hurt badly." He said, nodding his head at the guys on the ground. "Besides, it's Friday, would he really be that mad if you went home a little later?"
You rolled your eyes. "Yeah, you think he's the cool uncle who lets you drive his expensive cars and buys you alcohol if you want but he's not. He's way too protective, he's stricter about curfew than my parents..." You muttered, checking the time on your phone again. "Could you take me home?" You asked, batting your lashes at him. "I mean, I'll get home faster and I think we've established that I can't take care of myself." You let out a laugh, trying to lighten up the mood.
Peter gave you a glare, "It's not funny, Y/N." He said with a serious tone. "You could have gotten seriously hurt. Your knee's already bleeding!" He said and gestured to your wound.
You looked down, seeing a hole and a stain of blood on your new jeans. "Oh, man!" You whined. "I just got these." You said and stomped your foot on the ground in frustration.
Peter rolled his eyes, putting his mask back on and wrapped an arm around your waist. You wrapped your arms around his neck and he shot a web, swinging the both of you towards the Tower, swinging through the air swiftly.
You two made it to the Tower in a few minutes and he landed safely on a balcony on the floor your bedroom was on. He let go of you, setting you down and you giggled. "That's always as cool as the last time." You said, referring on holding onto him as he swung through the city with his webs.
Peter smiled, chuckling slightly at your reaction. He looked through the window, seeing nobody near and he turned to you. "Well, I guess I should go." He said, shrugging.
"Or..." You reached your hands to pull away his mask before pulling him a bit closer. "We could sneak into my room and... make out?" You asked with a hopeful smile, making him gulp. "I mean... It was pretty scary what happened a while back... Could use some company." You said with a fake pout.
Peter chuckled again, "Don't you have security cameras all over he tower?" He asked.
"Yeah but I can erase the footage." You said with a shrug. "I know how to do that, don't worry." You assured him. "I've done it a few times before."
"Are you sure nobody will see us?"
"I'm pretty sure they're all asleep. Just come." You said and pulled him inside the tower. You took a quick look of your surroundings before pulling Peter further, heading towards your room. You tiptoed as carefully as you could and opened the door a bit before turning to Peter again. You smiled, pulling him in for a quick kiss before you opened the door fully only for Peter to quickly pull away from you, staring behind you with wide eyes. "What?" You asked and turned around as well, seeing your very angry looking uncle looking at you with crossed arms. "H-hi Tony." You stuttered.
"Parker, I want you out." Tony said coldly, making you frown.
"Tony!" You exclaimed.
"First, you keep my niece at your place past her curfew, then you let her leave on her own and get hurt and then you try to sneak up in her room to do God knows what!" He yelled out, taking a few steps closer to you and Peter.
"Tony!" You yelled out again. "None of this was his fault."
"Y/N, you don't need to defend—"
"Anthony Edward Stark!" You yelled out, earning a surprised look from Tony. "Just listen to me, please?"
Tony looked at you in disbelief. "What are you middle naming me for?" He asked, brows furrowing. "I'm just worried about you getting hurt. You're my niece, your parents trust me enough to let you live here with me and if something bad happened to you... How could I explain that to them?" He asked, his voice getting quieter and gentler towards the end.
You were at a loss of words. You just looked at Tony for a few seconds, seeing his gaze on the ground. You took a step towards him, nudging his arm with your hand. You sent him a small smile and stepped a bit closer, hugging him. He was taken aback by your actions but hugged you back, patting your back.
"And you," Tony said as he lifted one of his hands, pointing at Peter. "How could you let her leave alone?"
"Oh, get off me." You groaned and pushed him away. "What do you mean 'let her'?" You asked. "It was my fault! Why won't you listen to me?"
"Mr Stark, I swear I—"
Tony shushed him.
You rolled your eyes. "I was the one who left. We had both fallen asleep during a movie and I didn't want to wake him up. It was all my fault. I was also the one who convinced him to come to my room to ma—" You started but saw the warning look on Tony's face, shutting up. "Well, that's not important." You said, clearing your throat. "Anyway, it was all my fault, I swear."
"Peter?" Tony said, raising a brow. "Is she telling the truth?" He asked, seeing Peter nod. "Because if she's not and I find out you're to blame for this, it's not going to end well for you. You know that, right?"
"I swear she's telling the truth. I'd never let her get hurt."
Tony glared at him and looked down at your blood stained jeans.
"Again, my fault." You said. "He came to my rescue before anything worse happened."
Tony sighed, "Alright... Thank you, Peter." He muttered. "And Y/N, the next time you call me, alright?"
You nod, hugging his side before pushing him towards the door, making Peter step out of the way. "Now go to sleep. Can't skip beauty sleep, can you?" You joked and began to shut the door only to have Tony stop it with his hand. "What are you doing?"
"Not letting him stay in your room." He said, motioning to Peter.
You looked behind, seeing Peter scratching the back of his neck. He smiled sheepishly and neared the door. He turned around, placing his hand gently on you waist before leaning in to place a quick kiss on your cheek but Tony grabbed the collar of Peter's suit, pulling him out of your room, shoving him slightly, telling him to go home.
You chuckled, waving at Peter. You bit your lip as he stopped to wave at you too only to have Tony tell him to "keep moving." You watched the two disappear behind the corner and you went over to the window, seeing him sling his web only to come over to your window. You laughed, opening it and he moved his mask away from his mouth to give you a quick kiss. You smiled. "So... You want to come in—"
"Peter if you don't get your ass home, I'm going to call your aunt!" You heard Tony yell out and you stuck your head out of the window to see Tony standing at the balcony.
"I think I should go." Peter said, pulling his mask down. "I'll see you tomorrow, though, right?"
You nodded. "Now go before he threatens to call May again." You said and he did, swinging away. You closed the window and went over to the bathroom to clean up the wound in your knee. You changed into your pajamas and were about to go to sleep, you heard a knock on the door. You went over to the door, opening it to see Tony standing there.
"You feeling okay?" He asked with a worried gaze.
"Yeah, I'm fine." You said with a small smile. "You shouldn't be so hard on Peter, you know? It really wasn't his fault."
Tony huffed, shaking his head. "I know, I know... I just get worried that's all." He said with a small smile as well. He ruffled your hair slightly. "Good night, kiddo."
You pushed his hand away, "Good night, Tony."
"If I find Peter coming here again tonight, I'm going to ground you and get Peter grounded as well." He warned.
You rolled your eyes again, closing the door. "Good night, Tony." You repeated, ignoring his comment.
You went over to your bed, took your phone in your hands and opened it to type a quick goodnight text to Peter. You were just about to put your phone away when you got a goodnight text back from him along with a spider and a red heart emojis at the end.
Good night🕷❤️
