Closed up hearts
For authoressperfekt hope you like it! Let me know if you want me to change it, I used different perspectives to write it.
A preachers daughter,
With a heart much brighter,
Let her be the kind light fighter.
Who'll plunge in deep underwater,
So you could breath one last time.
She'll hold your heart,
Up there upright,
She'll hold your hand through every jump high,
She'll be your friend through roads down hill,
She won't let that scorch be the burn in you.
Could one say,
There's never been a day,
Where she's shown a spark of dark grey,
Of mischief that reigns on May,
Or hold a grudge for betray.
I won't let her speak,
Of sins she'll never heed,
As she holds a heart so clean,
That foresees me redeem,
She'll see the good in me.
She's a preachers daughter,
One who purifies the darkest with white water.
—•—
burn my blood,
but you wont get my heart,
I'll hold you far out,
I'll place you in shadows of dark.
It'll be my joy,
In the pain you'll pay,
For it isn't me who you should stay away,
But from my ice cold heart.
I'll see you as a mere face,
That holds so much grace,
But will I never surrendered,
To what you call love.
You can try to every extent,
Regardless of what you send,
Let it be the moon and sun,
My heart you can't outrun.
I am a preachers daughter,
Your heart may be a sacrifice to slaughter.

So what'll happen to our precious child,
When she falls for one mans beguile?
