Third Person POV

Kakashi let out a deep sigh at the scene in front of him. He closed his book and zipped it in his pouch.

What a bunch of idiots, he thought to himself as he just stared up at his team.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura were all hanging by some sort of rope trap. From the looks of it, they panicked and further trapped themselves by flailing around.

"Would one of you like to explain why you're all hanging from the air?" Kakashi asked raising an eyebrow.

"It's Naruto's fault!" Sakura said immediately, glaring at the blonde.

"I was going to use it to catch the guys we're after!" Naruto countered.

"Baka. Do you honestly think anyone would fall for that?" Sasuke said also glaring menacingly at him.

"Then how did we get caught up here, huh?" Naruto asked with a grin.

"Because you tryed to test it on Sasuke-kun and tripped, causing all of us to get caught in it. Poor Sasuke-kun." Sakura said staring lovely at Sasuke.

"What did I do to deserve this?" Kakashi mumbled before throwing a kunai knife at the single rope holding it up.

The trio landed on the ground with a loud thump.

"Ow! You elbowed me!"

"Naruto, get your butt out my face!"

"Well get your face out my butt!"

"Move over!"

"Sasuke-kun help me!"

Kakashi sighed and rubbed his head as he sat down to read his book while he waited for them to untangle themselves.

"Well lookie what we have here. A couple of idiot leaf ninja." A voice behind them said.

Kakashi quickly snapped his book shut and spun around to face the new enemy. It was a creepy looking man with expensive looking jewelry and he had a group of about 20 dirty-looking thugs behind him.

"Hey, that's that guy we're after!" Naruto said still trying to untangle himself.

Kakashi sweatdropped and just shook his head again.

"After us? Stupid Leaf Village sending genin after us. A bunch of idiots like you couldn't possibly take us down." The man said smirking.

"Is that so? I guess we'll just have to see." Kakashi said.

"Get'em, boys." The man said to the thugs.

Most of the thugs went directly for Kakashi, however about a forth of went for the tangled genin hoping to use them as hostages.

Damn. They seem to be fairly strong. How can I am I supposed to fight all of them? After all I don't think they're gonna help, Kakashi thought looking at the genin.

"Sasuke-kun, help me!" Sakura cried.

An ugly-looking thug with a scar across his face had grabbed Sakura by her hair and held her up with a kunai against her throat.

"Don't move or the girl gets it." He stated.

Kakashi held up his hands in surrender as Sasuke and Naruto finally got untangled and raised their hands too.

"Good job, Dave." The lead guy said.

"Of course, Lord Randell." The ugly thug, Dave, answered back.

"Now I have some thing to say before I send you all into the darkest depths of hell. I am not-" he started but was cut off by a crashing sound to his left.

He immediately glared over there.

"Whoevers there you better come out before I slit this girl's throat." He said threateningly.

Nothing.

"I'm warning you! I'll kill her!" He said.

"I don't think you would." A voice said from where the Dave and Sakura were.

All eyes immediately turned to see an unharmed Sakura standing next to a woman with black hair and blue eyes. On the ground in front of them laid Dave with a knife in his throat.

"W-what? How did you-?" He asked astonished at her ability to sneak up on over 20 people.

"It wasn't very hard. You guys are so easily distracted." The girl said shrugging casually.

"Damn you, bitch! Forget talking kill them all!" He ordered before turning and trying to run away. All the other men rushed at her and the leaf nin but she didn't pay attention to them. She first had to help them with they're mission.

"I don't think so." She said before throwing a couple kunai, pinning the leader against a tree.

Immediately after she faced the thugs and glared at them with threatening purple eyes.

"Leave now and I won't have to kill you." She said menacingly.

Immediately half of the thugs ran away.

"Cowards!" Leader-guy yelled at them.

"Looks like you guys are idiots." She said to the couple of men left.

Open hearing this, they bailed too.

"NO! COWARDS! ALL OF YOU!" Leader-guy screamed.

"Not gonna help. They look pretty freaked out. I think it was the sneaking up part." She said watching the quickly leaving thugs.

"Go to hell!" He yelled at her.

"Where do you think I came from?" She asked with a grin.

She turned to face the team of leaf ninja. Kakashi was studying her closely while the genin looked at her in shock and awe. Well except Sasuke. He was just shocked.

The women smiled at them and waved.

"Hehe. Sorry if I alarmed you guys but I figured I'd help you seeing as our villages are now close allies." She said.

"What village are you from, ma'am?" Sakura asked.

The women sweatdropped.

"Don't call me ma'am. That makes me sound so old. My names Storm. But anyway, I'm from the Village Hidden In The Shadows." The women, Storm, said.

"Even though we're grateful for your help, my I ask why your here?" Kakashi asked raising an eyebrow.

"My team and I are heading to the Leaf Village for the chunin exams." Storm said simply.

"What team?" Sakura asked curiously.

"Oh yeahhh! I forgot! HEY KIDS. YOU CAN COME ON DOWN NOW." She yelled at the trees.

"Is she crazy?" Naruto whispered to Sakura. Sakura started to resond but was cut off by a loud crash.

They looked over to see a blonde/blue haired girl laying in a heap under the tree.

"Nice entrance, Miku." Amaterasu said sarcastically, landing next to her.

Ningyo dropped down next to them as well.

"Come on over guys." Storm said waiting.

Miku stood up with a groan and walked over slightly behind Amaterasu and Ningyo.

"This is my team of nutballs who happen to be very good at creating distractions." Storm said once they were next to her.

"Alright. Well since we're heading to the same place, how about we all travel together?" Kakashi asked.

"Sure! Let's go." Storm said.

"Um, Storm-sensei. I think your forgetting something." Ningyo said looking over leader-guy.

"Oh yeah. Oops."
