This is the rubric I will be implementing when I reopen, and I've taken bits and pieces from other rubrics I've had and mashing them all into one main one. This is the one I recommend you use when filling out the form, as it's the one I'm most comfortable doing. I'm using inspiration from katiegoesmew's rubric with sections and stuff, so I'll give credit here. A lot of things are similar, and a few are the same, and I don't want to be accused of plagiarizing, as I'm just taking inspiration from an awesome reviewer.

Section One; First Impressions

1. Title (__/10)

Is it a good length? Does it convey the energy of the story well? Does it have all the important information?

2. Cover (__/10)

Is it getting the genre and ideas across? What about relevance to the story? Is the text clear and easy to read? Is everything that needs to be on there on there?

3. Blurb (__/10)

Is it an appropriate length for book and genre? Does it have key information without revealing too much? Is the phrasing awkward? (Note: Possibly critique any grammar stuff in blurb if you see major errors)

4. First chapter and everything before (__/10)

Is it a good opener? Are the chapters before (ie. A/N, character aesthetics, prologue) good setups?

Section two; Main Review

1. Grammar (__/10)

Is everything grammatically accurate? What about phrasing? Paragraph length?

2. Characters and Dialogue (__/20)

Are they well developed? Are they having or set up for growth? How about character interactions, are they seemless? Does dialogue accurately convey ideas and characters unique voices?

3. Plot, storytelling, and Originality (__/15)

Is the pacing good? Is it a unique plot or new way to approach tropes? Is anything going kinda wack in the plot, like plot holes?

4. Personal enjoyment (__/10)

How did you find the story? Was it good or bad, and why or why not?

5: Emotional impact (__/5)

Did the story provoke emotions? It's not limited to just happy, sad, etc. Do they coincide with what's happening in the story and the authors tone?
