"As if you'll be allowed to leave now," Theodore said in a chilling voice. The four kids stayed where they were, silent. Fubuki was trying to find an opening to escape. Ichika tried to avoid Phi, and Shu was looking at his father dead in the eye. And Free was-

"W-where's Free?"

"Looking for him?" Theodore asked silkily and brought up an unconscious Free. The other three looked at the blonde in horror, how did he do it so fast?

"I advise you to go back to your respective rooms and sleep as it is night. I'll decide Shu's and Fubuki's punishment tomorrow, and will talk to the Kaneguro about their children's behaviour." She snorted.

"You are the one who should watch your behaviour, Glass." Phi gasped softly and Theodore's face contorted. Fubuki and Ichika chuckled winningly. But Theodore soon recovered from the shock and smirked.

"That's an amazing attitude, young man. So what would you do if I..." Theodore brought out a pocketknife and kept it dangerously close to Free's neck, "Kill him?"

Shu sucked in his breath. The other two looked at him leading them. Theodore tutted.

"Hmm? I thought you all were trying to be brave a while back? What happened now?" Theodore asked happily, knowing he had already won. But Fubuki wouldn't give up so easily in his dream.

"Like hell we are!" Fubuki roared and suddenly ran, hitting Phi straight on the chest and knocking him to the ground. Theodore tried to grab him but missed. Using the chaos Fubuki was causing, Ichika quickly ran, gesturing Free to Shu. The albino nodded and crept near his father, pulling Free out his loose grasp quickly.

Theodore seemed to realise that a second later, but it was too late when he saw Shu duck from under his hand and run after Fubuki and Ichika. But Theodore wasn't giving up so easily. He took a remote out of his pocket and clicked a button, and a couple of seconds later, a car drove automatically beside him, and he entered it with Phi.

Shu was carrying Free on his back, and Fubuki was holding the breathless Ichika's hand as they ran. But then they heard a screeching sound, and knew it meant nothing but trouble. From the turning behind them, they saw a fast car speeding towards them, "YOU WON'T TAKE AWAY MY HEIR, YOU LITTLE SHITS!"

They tried running faster, but an idea stuck Fubuki. He saw a couple of trees standing together nearby, "Guys here!"

They all ran through the gap between the tree, and the car was unable to get through it. The kids ran before Theodore gets out of the car and chases them himself. But to their horror, the car put so much pressure on the tree that it fell. The car continued chasing them.

Fubuki lead them through many more traps and trees, even human sized holes on the grounds in which a car can be stuck easily. But everything was failing and Shu wondered what his brother was planning, realising that a few seconds later.

The car behind them suddenly stopped, the lid on it's front blasting off and smoke coming through the place. But then, the whole car suddenly burned.

"What the-!?"

"SHU!" A very familiar, sweet voice called, and Shu turned to see...his love.

It was as if time slowed and they were the only people there. Toko ran towards him and jumped into his arms, and their lips met for a soft kiss.

A cough brought them back to the world, and the couple saw Fubuki and Ichika smirking at them, making them blush. The two made a Lenny face.

"Ok ok enough." Nika appeared behind Fubuki. She took Free from Shu arms and tried carrying him herself, failing miserably and making everyone laugh.

"Wait...What had happened right now..?" Shu asked gesturing to the burned down car. Fubuki chuckled.

"It was mostly Toko's and Nika's idea. So now I understand what you both meant by 'run through the hardest paths'. You set the traps here to exhaust the engine. And cars like dad's gets burned when exhausted too much. But I think a warning pops up inside the car when it's near it's limit?"

"Since when did Theodore care about cars? He probably ignored it."

Shu was both surprised and proud at his love's idea. He squeezed the small body in his arms gently, making him nuzzle into him. Ichika awed at them.

"I think we should go before anyone else comes." Nika said smartly. Fubuki nodded and grabbed Ichika's hands again, guiding her to a way out of the forest. Now it was the others except unconscious Free who was making a Lenny face.

"Babe, pass me the January edition magazine?"

"Ok Valt!"

Valt currently has a loyal and amazing boyfriend who loves him so much that it makes others' ear's hurt every night if they are close to their bedroom. Valt gives Kit everything, and Kit exposes his weaknesses, true personalities, and everything for Valt.

Fubuki had finally managed to ask Ichika out, which the girl agreed to. The live together in an apartment just like Shu and Toko, not wanting to overcrowd the Aoi house.

Free and Nika are engaged, the blonde proposing to his girlfriend a week after Theodore's death. Free's parents were invited for the wedding, and they couldn't be happier for their son.

And not to mention the two souls cuddling in an apartment bedroom, the smaller one of them currently having a dream of one of their conversations.

I may not remember your name as I read your book long time ago and didn't even add it to my library, but I remember that you had a Toko x Shu in your ship book and it was quite an adorable story, of Shu and Valt leaving from Japan again after a vacation and Toko being sad about Shu leaving.
