Epilogue

Almost half a year and you had finally said yes to coming out to camp.

Namjoon begged and begged for you to come with him, alone and secluded out in the woods where you'd use only him as a blanket for warmth. Sure, you'd carry extra packs and sleeping bags, but he really wanted to cuddle away and have fun alone after touring.

Ever since he had left with the boys, he wished for this to be his birthday location once he was back. And you surprised him with it by saying yes to the retreat. What you hated were the mornings, the nights however held passionate sex, cute cuddles, and sweet in-depth conversations that you missed so dearly since he had left.

Taking the time to yourself, attending therapy and getting past all your struggles one day at a time, it was a slow and re-victimizing burn, hard on some days and easy on others. You fought through it however. You conquered life and chose to be a fighter instead of having life treat you in the poorest of ways imaginable. You didn't let your paranoia, your fear, and your doubt swallow you whole. You moved on. You moved alone, and then you moved on with Namjoon. Healthy you were.

During this time, you made a friend. A stable friend. You grew close with Jules and took care of her, helping the boys that were gone touring in every way possible. As they had left, you and Jules talked and she mentioned how most of her time in therapy and the hospital was about how miraculous and surprising her rescue was. She constantly told you, stressed and confused face head-on, that she was meant to die that day but didn't. She didn't understand why or how she felt that way but every time she talked about it, she'd rub her hand and then move her fingers over her belly that grew larger and rounder as the months soared past.

Eyes soft, you'd ask about the monkey dreams she'd have and she'd smile and relax right away. With a kind smile, you'd say, "Maybe you just had a guardian angel lookin' after you that day."

She'd scoff, rolling her eyes. "Sure, like those exist." Staring down to her stomach, Jules would giggle and tap the front, "Isn't that right Kennah." Jules had been selfish and eager in having the secret slip from the doctors during these months. Namjoon and her child was going to be a boy – a son.

You snapped out of your thoughts. Staring at the flames and trying not to think about Jules and the baby while you were out in the woods with your official boyfriend. You couldn't help but feel curious when debating and reflecting on all the times you would see Kennah and you'd think he was a fragment of your imagination. What if somehow, somewhere during those times...he wasn't? What if you weren't just losing your sanity and Kennah, Kennah after death was right there by your side? So many questions that you didn't know whether you wanted the answers to. For right now, you were content in where you sat and wherever Kennah was now, you hoped he was okay.

Staring up from the fire and over to the starry sky, it wasn't until a 'pst' was shaken from Namjoon's lips beside you as he nudged your side with his jacket that glowed even after dark. The sky was dark, the moon was glowing, and his hair seemed to glow and tussle around in the air and lighting.

"What's on your mind?"

You smiled, poking at his chin and pecking his lips. You snuggled closer to him and it wasn't a surprise that he took you in his arms quick, letting your legs drape over him as he patted the side of your thigh.

You sighed, liking him touching you. "Just thinking about the time spent away from you. Ever since you've been back, we've talked about Jules and the baby, we've talked about your trip, we've talked about us...where we stand-" he grinned and cut you off, "That would be as boyfriend and girlfriend." You smiled at him so happy while speaking in for you.

"Yes," you retorted with a giggle and he tried to kiss you again but you whined away, "Let me finish."

Namjoon nodded, smiling. He listened intently.

"We just haven't talked about that night and all that happened. Everyone seems to be slowly forgetting, even I have been, but the more I forget the more I feel guilty and terrified and I-"

"You feel almost bad in moving on so fast." Namjoon spoke out, understanding. Many had died that night, followed by fans being traumatized, and everyone he cared about being harmed or bruised in some way. It was a disaster that stuck with them all and the more they tried to move on from it, it only reminded him how hard it was to do just that.

"I'm trying to take it day by day but its hard."

He nodded. His eyes narrowed slowly and his dimples showed while he grinned, "Don't."

You were confused when staring at his eyes that met yours. "Don't what?" you asked.

"Don't take it day by day. Go slower. Congratulate yourself every hour, every minute, even every second if you must. Take it slower than ever and just know everyone else is probably doing the same. You know for a fact that I am." His voice was soft.

You smiled a tiny bit at that.

He was excited over your smile as he hugged your knees to his chest and chuckled, pulling you closer in the chilly are as he breathed in your face before attacking your face in kisses. "I missed you!" he whined out, voice sad yet thrilled to finally be back home. "This is just what I needed, I'm glad you decided to do this with me."

"It's your birthday, of course I'd come out," you shrugged, "plus, I knew I'd be excited about spending more time with you as well, even if I hate how harsh nature can be."

"Was that the only present? I remember you had one more that you claimed to be saving for me."

You laughed. "Yup."

Namjoon smirked, his voice was smug as he teased, "I would guess virginity but that's long gone out of the picture."

Gasping, you slapped at his chest before getting off the log you were rested on and moving onto the crunchy grass. Heading off into the tent, you knew Namjoon watched after you and waited as you shuffled around in your backpack and slowly came back out. He was giddy when seeing your hands in your pocket. Sitting back down, it took a while for you to be fully content with his dimples in order to reveal what you had in store.

As you did, his smile fell completely.

It was the USB.

"Is this some sort of joke? You were supposed to destroy this forever ago."

"I saved it for now."

He glared at you and you laughed.

"I know, I know," you sighed, twirling it between your fingers, "Considering all that has happened because of it, I should've jumped to the opportunity to destroy it right away."

"Yeah."

"But I didn't because of what you said."

Namjoon's brows furrowed at that and how soft your voice was. He watched you continue, "You said how I deserved it and I do. I chased after this device and it ruined me all while making me feel the happiest of emotions because I met you, met the boys, met Jules...I'm a different person now because of this."

"Which is why you deserved to destroy it."

You nodded. "However, I'm not to only one that should be here to see it gone. You deserve this just as much as me and I wanted to be here with you to do it."

Namjoon's dimples were back.

You nudged towards the fire that blared and warmed the two of you up. Smiling, he cupped just below your cold fingers, both of you holding onto the device. With a toss, eyes watched with delighted and relieved shoulders as the object hoped into the fire and burned right into the middle of the sticks positioned. It was gone, burning and darkening to the point where you could no longer see or smell it anymore.

When you found the courage to look at Namjoon again, he was staring at you with kind eyes and a smile.

You giggled, cuddling into him before breathing in his scent like how you always did when anxious. He let you, wrapping his arms around you with a soft and gentle touch. His grip hardened eventually when your lips tapped his and slowly started to deepen with the flicks of the tongue.

"I know what you're thinking," you said at his lips, giggling when he propped you on top of him so you'd straddle and position yourself ready to tease.

"What?" he hoarsely let out by your mouth, seeing as you leaned high on him so he'd look up and arch to kiss you back.

"You love me."

"Hm." Namjoon smirked.

"...and I love you," you whispered, fingers playing through his hair causing him to sigh.

Namjoon shook his head in agreement. "I know. I've always known."

You giggled, sighing yourself before letting tongues, lips, sucks and bites take their course at each others' mouths, necks, and slowly to other vulnerable places that only the process of unclothing one another could reach.

You let him unclothe you, just while Namjoon let you sink down to place your mouth by the opened button of his jeans to suck. He moaned, softly breathed and you listened to every bit of it. It was worse when he thanked you by having you shake and strangle him with your thighs that wrapped around his head.

With all, before the fire. The USB that you both once cared so much about, all while being the very object that had you cross each other's paths...gone. Completely gone in the warmth and redness of the flames that your sweaty body dripped to, clinging onto Namjoon's glistening when while he gently pounded his wrapped growth between your opened legs.

No human nor animal was heard or seen for the rest of the night.
