Back story explained

Persuveus is the creation of mine that occurred because of a poetry contest by the Poet's Pub, beginning in June, 2018.

I began writing these poems which evolved into an intricate character.

He is a super hero. His back story is that he was actually born as a Thylacine. That is a creature which went extinct in the early 1900s.

But he is descended from a line of shape shifting creatures who protected the earth from ancient times. They were assigned to protect all species and ensure their survival.

They can shape shift into different forms including humans, other animals and even clouds and shadows. They have an ancient temple on the continent of Australia where they lived.

Persuveus was one of the last Thylacine alive when he was transformed into a human for the first time.

The power of the moon as its light flows through the temple can restore his power when he is weak. When he grows too weak he reverts back to his Thylacine form and all his supernatural powers fade.

His powers involve commanding the creatures of the earth to assist him and some forces of nature itself. He is strongest in the open wilds. But weaker in the city.

Three humans help him. They are Zina, Moses and Angel. Zina knows the city and its ways. She is extremely book smart and helps Persuveus study to become a professor. Moses is the reformed criminal who once helped gangsters and poachers and the like. He is street smart and helps Persuveus track down the poachers and other criminals. Angel is an odd girl who has a super power too. She can physically heal Persuveus when he is badly hurt. She is good at sensing his presence and very empathetic to him.

Around his neck on a gold chain he wears a necklace with a gem. That gem is an oracle that channels his dead mother. Her voice helps guide him.

Persuveus struggles with his anger toward mankind, but she keeps him in check. He works to teach humans better ways and he fights to stop extinction of any kind.
