You made a change

You left me,

Without sparing another glance.

You move on,

While I was still in the breakup trance.

You broke my trust,

When my heart was beating only for you.

You used me,

Without caring a few.

You used to say "I love you"

Without knowing what it actually means.

You showed me our future,

Leaving me in fake dreams.

You made my heart bleed,

For your own joy.

You made me doubt myself,

Playing with my heart like a toy.

You made me cry for long nights,

Without paying any heed.

You left me alone,

Even after knowing my every need.

But you taught me how to doubt,

Making me realise the selfishness around.

You made me strong,

Breaking me free from emotions which used to bound.

You made me look for a better companion,

Motivating me to move on for my sake.

You helped me find a perfect guy,

Much better my life who did make.

You did everything negative,

Trying to hurt me with all your might.

But because of you I found my true love,

I claim with all the excitement and delight!!
