What is trust worth anymore? What does our generation care about whether they keep a promise or not? And people wonder why others have trust issues. Maybe it's because that time you promised your friend you would quit drinking when you're afraid of becoming an alcoholic, or the time you promised your friend you quit smoking, you went ahead and did it behind their back anyways. How about when your friend trusted you with their secret and you decided to tell someone you trusted, then they spread it to everyone else? Why the hell do people have trust issues? Because there are people out there who don't seem to understand what the fuck trust counts for anymore. How much work some people put into keeping your secrets, keeping their promises to you, and then you turn around and go against everything you said!
Or you keep joking about something serious until it finally happens and nobody believes you. "Guess what, I lost my virginity!"
"Haha just kidding! You should have seen the look on your face!"
Then not long after you have a few to many and let your boyfriend do whatever and the next day you are upset and you feel like you have to tell your friend because you don't wanna keep it locked up. And they don't believe you. Why? Because you think trust is a toy! Nobody seems to get how much the tiniest promises can mean to someone! Maybe next time you are about to do something stupid you should stop and ask yourself "did I promise anyone I wouldn't let this happen again? Is it even worth doing?"
Or, alternatively, you could be an absolute asshole and do whatever the fuck you want with no regard for how it might affect someone else. Your decisions impact more than yourself! Get that through your damn head!
