Chapter 5: And so, life goes on.
Makoto Yuki, in his previous life and current one didn't know what to make of the beings that were seated around the table. Entreés spread out with different extravagant dishes, sugary delights lay in the middle that seemed to attract the attention of Koneko Toujou and Gabriel.
While it looked like Micheal, Uriel and the 2 oldest men of Gremory partook in a drinking competition...if the world looked at them right now, it would make the believers and other beings gape at the scene.
It seemed Issei Hyoudou was trying very hard to not get a nosebleed...the constant 'embracing' from Akeno, Rias, Koneko, Irina and Asia wanting to feed him. 'Poor kid, you'll get used to it.'
Although...he probably shouldn't say such things since he did have a harem at one point. Xenovia was right beside him heavily blushing. She didn't drink right?
Right?!
"Master Yuki~!" Xenovia had tears dripping off her face. "You were the only sheeeone (one) whosssh (who) accccepted meee~!" She proceeded to bury his face in her melons. "My life isssshh yours forevaaaa!"
Suffice to say, she was hammered. Did he mention he is running out of breath?
He could hear the sounds of those around him tune out.
"Ma-kun?! Ma-kun?!?! MA-KUN!!!!"
[Several days later...]
He was talking to the Seraphs up above. As to not draw suspicion, he equipped ArchAngel as an assurance and was "made" to be Gabriel's Joker in name mind you.
"So what really am I here for?" He didn't want to beat around the bush any longer.
"If I were to say, that Father is dead, would you believe me Nephilim?" Micheal very carefully worded.
"Yes." A second had passed before the sound of a pencil snapping interrupted the silence. "It's not impossible to kill a god. In fact, I-" should he say the truth?
"-I believe that arrogance or bad timing can kill a god." No. They weren't ready to handle the truth.
"Then might I ask of you to at least summon him in front of those he called children?" It wouldn't bother him. So he fulfilled the request.
"...Messiah." The elegant form of Messiah floated above his being. He could hear the collection of gasps and grief around him. Gabriel, albeit a strong Seraph, she was also the most emotional one of the bunch. She was slowly crying up a storm. How long had she held that pain in her heart?
He looked around seeing the Seraphs hugging Messiah gently. However, one thing remained unclear. Where is Metatron? The Angel of Contracts?
"...Metatron. Where is he?" Messiah asked while keeping one eye closed and the other open.
"He was the first to fall in battle during the Great War when you had fallen after Trihexa." Raphael wiped his tears.
Makoto shifted. Griselda, Gabriel's Queen, noticed and began to ponder. Just what exactly is he?
"...Metatron." Makoto spoke while a blue swirl appeared next to him. "Give them hope."
Every single Angel in the meeting room that day was emotional.

Micheal turned towards the blue haired hybrid. "Thank you for letting us see our brethren again, even if it was a Persona. However, this meeting is not yet done. We, the Seraphs, would like to express our graditude by giving you your own Brave Saints Deck."
"...Brave Saints Deck? I see no reason to give me, a hybrid of Nyx and Messiah, a Deck."
"You must know, even if you are a hybrid, you possess great power. I am not going to lie to you, I would rather have you as a friend than an enemy. Seeing as Kokabiel isn't working alone in the matter, it'll only make Peace talks dim. Angels, Fallen Angels and Devils, cannot afford to have another War."
"...I can't say no to this can I?" He breathed out a sigh. "Whatever. If it means keeping others safe, who am I to deny it? Speaking on another subject, what happened to the brunette exorcist?"
"She's in good hands, after all she is standing right behind you." Micheal merely smiled.
"Hi! I'm one of Micheal's personal Angels! Irina Shidou!" She seemed quirky. Kind of like that Joker, Dulio.
"It's nice to see you again, Shidou-chan. Did you give my message to the Church?"
"Hai! Although, they weren't happy Xenovia 'turned' to another party, which keep in mind I don't which party they spoke of, they are now on high gear since the Kokabiel incident."
"Which brings me to this, I am the 'Party' the Church spoke of. Xenovia, she's with me."
"...where is she then?" He deadpanned, "With my 'Mother'."

After another long talk of pleasantries, he left with a rather unique guest. The guest in question wanted to meet Xenovia for some reason.
"Please wait here. It seems Mother is still trying to convince Xenovia to be by my side no matter where I go."
Griselda Quarta looked at the interior of Tartarus. For beings such as Nyx and the Hybrid, they lived rather comfortably.
"And here she is."
Staring at her adopted daughter that she raised, she wore Velvet blue and a necklace with a small silver coffin.
"Xenovia!" She hugged her, hard. She didn't seem to hold back the tears, if she knew Kokabiel was the one that almost killed her daughter, she would have never forgiven herself.
"I'm so glad you are alive!" Perhaps if God was still alive, she would've asked him if it was okay to be a little bit selfish.
"You are pardoned." ...What? "I can hear those prayers you know. I may not be Him, or have the same influence as Him, but I'd like to think he would've pardoned you."
Makoto sat down, he was exhausted, pardoning her took a sizable amount of his energy.
"You can stay in one of the guest rooms, since it is late after all. Xenovia."
"Yes?" She answered quickly.
"Please show her the guest room. I'll be sleeping in my quarters. It's been a long day."
"Of course. Get a nice sleep, Milord." He didn't even rebuke that name cause he was tired.
Chapter done. I'll see ya guys and gals next time.
