I do not own Devil May Cry and Persona, only the OCs that will appear in this story and the concept were inspired by 'Lesson Time: Never follow your teacher home' in 'Vergil's one-shots' by ZerlinaQuinn. So, I hope this turns out okay... now enjoy my guild.

The trio runs through the hallway, leaving many corpses of Shadows through their path.
"Awesome! We're running like wild, baby!" Jerome cheered.
"Hell yea!" Bucky cheered as well.
"Will you two be quiet?" Vergil told them off, "Do you want guards to hear us and kill us on the spot?"
"S-Sorry!" Jerome and Bucky replied.

Vergil rolls his eyes out of annoyance while the three are running. They entered a large room and they look down, where they see three shadows, a massive locked door, a device and a strange floor.
"Woah... what's that?" Jerome asked in awe.
"Most likely some kind of puzzle, I'm guessing," Bucky said.
"Well, we can't solve anything without getting rid of those shadows," Vergil pointed out.
"Alright," Jerome replied. "So, are you ready?"

> Yes
> Not yet.

"Yes," Vergil replied.
"Awesome!" Jerome shouted as he gets on top of a edge and jumps off of it.
"JEROME!" Bucky shouted in panic.

Jerome readies his spear and pierced through a shadow's head. The other two shadows was caught off guard until Bucky throws a knife through a shadow's eye while Vergil jumps and pierce from top of the head to the body.

Vergil jumps off of the body and kicks it a bit, to double check it's dead.
"Well... I guess those guys are low-levelled, huh?" Bucky said.
"Yea, that's actually pretty disappointing..." Jerome complained, "Just when I was ready to beat up another shadow,"
"Enough your complaining!" Vergil replied. "Now... this device..."

The trio walks up to a device and Bucky stares at it.
"... Mmmm..." Bucky hummed.
"..."

> Press button
> Don't

Vergil presses the button, much to Jerome's and Bucky's shock. Suddenly, a screen appear that shows the floor and a hand pointing.
"... You know... after getting a better look..." Jerome said. "This is clearly a puzzle,"
"Thanks for stating the obvious," Vergil replied sarcastically.
"Hey, I'm trying to help..." Jerome replied.

Vergil stayed silent and uses a joystick to move the hand, which he moves a block on the screen, which a block on the floor moves the same way as well.
"..." Vergil stayed quiet as he starts thinking and carefully moving the blocks.
"Hey, Dra-" Bucky suddenly interrupted.
"Silence, I'm focusing," Vergil told Bucky off while moving around.
"... Hmph," Bucky pouted.

The trio stayed quiet for awhile while Vergil is doing the puzzle. Finally... Vergil finished.
"Done," The half-demon said.
"Finally!" Both Bucky and Jerome yelled.
"About time, if you ask me," Bucky said.
"Yea!" Jerome agreed with the ninja bunny.
"... Solving stuff with a brain takes time..." Vergil replied, "Something you two couldn't comprehend,"
"... That's so harsh..." Jerome and Bucky complained.
"Enough, look," Vergil said.

The trio look and see the completed puzzle showing two adults yelling at a child with blue hair in a ponytail... instantly reminding them of a certain someone.
"... Cara...?" Jerome muttered.

A/N - The puzzle idea is suggested by Darkareaders since I'm having a bit of a problem with this update, so I ask for help.

Also, Monsterelijah and Darkareaders are the same person, however because his Monstere one got deleted. A new one called Darkareaders is born, just to let you guys know.
