I do not own Devil May Cry and Persona, only the OCs that will appear in this story and the concept were inspired by 'Lesson Time: Never follow your teacher home' in 'Vergil's one-shots' by ZerlinaQuinn. So, I hope this turns out okay... now enjoy my guild.

After sending Jerome to the hospital and a very long explanation with the power of lying, Vergil rushes to school with his normal speed rather then his demonic speed, even though he strongly prefer the latter over the former.

Once Vergil arrives at the school with Bucky, he looks at the time... realising he misses the first period.
"Well... shit..." Vergil thought as he facepalms himself.

"Mr Sparda,"

"... Y-yes, Miss Barnett?" Vergil stuttered as he turns around.

He sees the principle looking at him with a stern look to her eyes and crossing her arms. Even though he's not really scared of her, she is still his boss and he badly needs the money, so he decides to pretend to be nervous.
"Why were you late?" She asked him angrily.

"Jerome needs to go to the hospital," Vergil explained honestly, "The fool got himself into the fight."

"I see... Ugh... when he comes back, I'm demoting him honestly..." Miss Barnett complained.

"How comes you didn't do it earlier?" Vergil asked her.

"I... Knowing his temper, I'm worried he might lash out," Miss Barnett replied. "And I feel like firing him would only make things worse, so demoting him would be the best option."

"I see..." Vergil replied. "I'll try to get it through his thick skull that his temper is causing trouble for everyone."

"Thank you..." Miss Barnett thanked him, "But I'm still cutting your salary a bit for being late. No exceptions,"

"Ugh..." Vergil groaned and replies, "Fine..."

"Good," Miss Barnett replied as she turns around and leaves.

Vergil turns around and rolls his eyes as he heads out to his office to prepare for his lessons for today... oh joy...
