I do not own Devil May Cry and Persona, only the OCs that will appear in this story and the concept were inspired by 'Lesson Time: Never follow your teacher home' in 'Vergil's one-shots' by ZerlinaQuinn. So, I hope this turns out okay... now enjoy my guild.

Many hours later, as all of the students are heading home. The trio hides behind the alleyway and Jerome looks around.
"Nobody here... so," Jerome said. "Let's get back to business!"
"Naturally," Vergil replied as he opens the book... where he notices a second line, "That's odd... before, it was only one sentence... but now there's two,"

"It must be because we found the second floor," Bucky theorised, "That's the most logical sense,"
"Good point," Vergil agreed, "Anyways, we should get going before anyone sees us,"
"Yep,"
"Cara Stevenson goes to the Shadow hell," Vergil read, "The second verse of hell awaits you,"

Suddenly, the book opens up and teleports the heroes out of the area.

(Later)

The trio teleports inside the safe room.
"So, Dragon..." Bucky said, "Is this the second floor?"
"Let me check, Ninja," Vergil replied as he starts checking around the area, "Yep, this is the second floor."
"Good," Bucky said.
"Ahem... guys... I just remembered something..." Jerome realised.
"What is it?" Vergil asked harshly.
"... I don't have a code name..." Jerome told them, much to their genuine surprise.

"... I can't believe we forgot something as important as that..." Bucky realised. "I-Okay! Ahem... how about Lancer?"
"Oh, Lancer?" Jerome asked, "Mmm... I like that! I'm Lancer, the mighty fire spear wielded!"
"Yeah, yeah," Vergil rolled his eyes, "We solve that problem, now let's go already,"
"Spoiled sport," Bucky muttered.
"I'm sorry, but what did you just say?" Vergil asked in a hostile manner and a glare.

"I-I mean let's go!" Bucky lied as he quickly gets a heads up.
"... That's what I thought..." Vergil said as the trio continues their journey.

A/N - Yeah... I actually forgot to give Jerome a code name as well as putting the others' code names as well, so I have to go back and change a little in the previous parts to make sense of the story.

Before you ask, yes, the code name, Lancer is a reference to the Fate/Stay night franchise since Jerome's Persona is Cu Chulainn.
