• Always carries a handheld console with him wherever he goes

• When he was younger his mother made him take self defence classes so he is pretty good at it

• He doesn't show his emotions a lot but when he is around The Phantom Thieves and his brother he shows them more. He gets nervous easily but doesn't show it

• Hikaru is good with using a gun because of the game he plays with his brother

• After meeting Akira/Ren (Protagonist) and after seeing how cool and strong he was he started to look up to him.

• Even though he hasn't got the correct amount of kindness for Futaba they both like the same thing which made them get along easier. They used to play games online together before they met.

• During Shinya's social link, rank 5, Hikaru turned up at the arcade and saw the protagonist with his brother, he was surprised and walked over. Hikaru was surprised to know that the boy that his brother was hanging out with and trusting was the male he looked up to. After that day Hikaru and the protagonists became closer friends. You also level up Hikaru's social link one level while also levelling up Shinya's.

• Hikaru overheard Ryuji, Ann and the protagonist talking about Kamoshida's palace. He was curious and without thinking his curiosity took over and he followed them into the palace. He was caught by the guards and was told he was going to be executed but he refused and summoned his Persona. He managed to defeat the guards with a toy gun he had been carrying in his backpack, it was a gift for Shinya. He then managed to get out of the palace, the main group heard rumours about a boy who took out guards with a gun from the other guards. It got their attention and after hearing more information about what Hikaru looked like they confronted him in the real world. It took a while but they managed to get him on their side.

• In Royal Hikaru was one of the people whose memories didn't change since he never went to see the School Counselor since his mother was against it saying that Hikaru was fine and there was no point in wasting his time. Hikaru found the protagonist and also told him that he was confused about what was happening since his father was back in his life. He then went into the new palace with the Protagonist, Goro Akechi and Kasumi (Sumire) Yoshizawa when they first learn everything about the female.

• In the happy ending Hikaru is a happy boy who isn't an introvert in the slightest. Instead of him playing games on his own all of the time he played with some friends that he had.
