2038. The future that human thinks'll be hopeful and graceful, equipped with countless artificial intelligences that help them to have better life. But it wasn't, the Android, one of the most advance inventions ever made began rebelling through their owner, deviant, that's what human stamped them. It's funny when the machine that they think isn't alive, now being able to break the fourth wall and have its own consciousness. To have their own purpose, break free from the strings and wires that closed their eyes. That's not the only fear human felt, being fired from their job because they're able to do better than human, perfect, not even tired, such perfection that human invoked scared them.

Beneath the rising of the deviant, amidst the late afternoon, there stood someone-no-something shaped like a human entering the Detroit Police Department's headquarter. It's wearing a informal uniform, in the back, written down 'Android, Made by Cyberlife, RK800,' and calmly registered itself through the reception. When it's allowed to enter through the main hall, it suddenly bumped into someone,

"Ouch-"

"I'm sorry, Miss-"

The woman halted on her steps, thus darted her attention towards the thing that has bumped into her. It made her bewildered to found an Android sauntering around the police station, the android stared back onto the woman, meticulously scanned her,

[ Completed Scanning 100%]

Full Name: (F/N) (L/N)

DoB: (Month), (Date) (Year)

Crime Records: none

A current commander in Detroit Police Department

Skid into silence made (F/N) tilted her head a bit, before she decided to inquired the android with such plain question,

"Are you looking for someone?"

"Yes. I'm Connor, I'm the android sent by Cyberlife. I'm assigned to work together with Lt. Hank Anderson for deviancy cases."

"Oh, you're searching for Lt. Anderson. Bad luck, he's heading to any bars around here and I must say, there're a bunch of bars around here."

"He's in the bar?"

"Yes. He has alcohol addiction."

"I see. I'll find him for sure. Thank you, Commander."

"You're welcome, Connor."

(F/N) stoically gilded her (E/C) orbs onto the android which chose to fled and hunted for the spoken Lieutenant. Thus, she continued her halted steps to reached the translucent office beneath the center of the main hall, and entered the room with a frown,

"Captain Fowler,"

"Commander, is there something wrong?"

"I didn't remember give permission to the Cyberlife to give their android to work with us."

"They said you're-"

"-Unreachable. Fuck no, they didn't even e-mail or inform me."

"I assume they know that the deviancy cases are nothing compared to the cases you're handling, so they didn't ask you."

"I was the one in charge."

"You were out of country before."

"Alright. Let me know if you need help, I'll be up in my room,"

The black man whose name is Fowler only nodded his head slightly, (F/N) exhaled a short breath from left the room. Thus, she headed towards the second floor, into her secluded office and spent the rest of her day there. Writing countless of reports of the cases she has been working before with the special unit, time walked slow for her, meanwhile not for the Android with its new partner, Lt. Hank Anderson. It's in the middle of early morning, (F/N) heard knocking on the doors on her room,

"Come in,"

"Commander (L/N), I'm here to bring the deviant that's captured by the RK800 and Lt. Anderson."

"Ah-"

The sight of Deviant made (F/N) shivered, not because she's terrified to deviant, but seeing the scars on its body, shattered her heart. She's handling the technology and evidence departments, she has handled deviants, broken one like Daniel, but this one was-more wicked.

"You may leave us alone. I'll call you once I'm done registering it."

"Alright, Commander (L/N)."

The Android which worked for the DPD thus left and locked the door. (F/N) exhaled a short breath, she seized off her glasses on the her desk, activated her A.I, her own A.I, different from others.

"Jarvis. Go secure,"

"Secure the room, (F/N), activated."

The deviant shuddered and didn't utter any syllables, made (F/N) clicked her tongue before she leaned closer towards it,

"The human hurted you, huh? What a wicked owner, you don't deserve all of this."

"..."

"When did he start to torture you?"

".... When he lost job,"

"Stupid human because they lost their job and hurted their own androids,"

"Why do you care? You're going to shut me down."

The inquiry made (F/N) slew her attention back onto the deviant, LED light on its head is red, it's no longer it but he. He stared confusedly to (F/N),

"I helped kinds like you, I'm sorry I couldn't save you..."

"... How?"

"Your kind saved my life."

"...."

"But you're already here, I can't help you any longer. But before you're shut down, I just want to tell you that you're not alone. You're free, and out there, there're those who have worse obstacles to fight."

"I'm afraid,"

"Find Jericho."

"Jericho?"

"Safe heaven for you and the others, I hope, you'll be there."

"..."

(F/N) thus smiled grimly, she couldn't stand taking lifes from those who want to be free. He indeed murdered people, but it's self-defense,

"Jarvis, sent him the location of Jericho."

"Send the location of Jericho to HK400, sent."

"Thank you, Jarvis."

(F/N) looked back through the deviant, and she could retrieve a dapple of hope from his eyes. It relieved her, that she leaned more closer towards him,

"..Thank you... for giving me hope... You're really that person.."

"Who?"

"...Someone who'll send us to be free."

"It's not me, I'm a merely human."

"You know Jericho, the same Jericho as mine..."

"...Be safe,"

Without further ado, (F/N) forcefully took off the Thirium pump regulator and shut the deviant down. Looking through the gleaming regulator, (F/N) looked solemn before spoke,

"Deactivating secure mode, Jarvis."

"Deactivating."

Then somehow, a knock could be heard and someone-no-something entered the room, the familiar figure (F/N) encountered in the afternoon,

"Oh, RK800."

"Commander (L/N), I'm here to collect the evidence."

"The deviant?"

"Yes."

"No need to bother, the PC200'll take over, RK800."

"My name is Connor."

(F/N) who was more focused on handing the regulator towards the PC200 who assisted her before and take over the deviant now swirled her attention towards the demanding android,

"Connor, it's."

"I couldn't hear or enter your room before, Commander (L/N). Is there something wrong?"

"No, that's fine."

"The deviant didn't spill anything?"

"Nope, not even talking. Where's Lt. Anderson?"

"He's leaving earlier, he said he's tired."

"Ah, I see."

(F/N) swirled her body towards her desk, took off her glasses, put it on the case and seized her bag, ready to headed home after a long day. Meanwhile, Connor meekly stood and waiting for her, made her squinted one of her eyebrows,

"You need something else, Connor?"

"It's already early morning, Commander, I'll escort you back safely."

"I'm a commander, I can take care of myself."

"You're a woman, (L/N)."

(F/N) was staggered to heard the spoken syllables but compelled herself not to inquiring anything. Connor trailed from behind, on the outside and after a taxi came, Connor stepped further and opened the door for her,

"Connor-"

"I insist, Commander (L/N)."

"Fine."

She went inside, so did Connor at the end. It was awkward, (F/N) has lost her energy to asked any further but she's curious and Connor, well, it stared blankly onto the streets. Within last energy, thus, (F/N) asked,

"Are you getting friendly because you need my help, Connor?"

"The mission'll be easier to be accomplished if we have more allies, right, Commander?"

"Funny, you called me only with my name before."

"Sorry if I was impolite, I-"

"It's out of the office, Connor, you can call me with (L/N) or even just (F/N)."

"Got it, (L/N)."

Few minutes later, both of them arrived in front of a house, (F/N) thus headed out from the car. But before she went in into her house, she glanced back to Connor,

"Where're you going after this?"

"Back to the Cyberlife and turn into low power mode."

"I see. Good night, Connor."

"Good night, (L/N). Have a pleasant rest."

Connor roused a thin smile into its visage before closed the door of the taxi and headed to leave the place. (F/N) scurried to entered her house,

"Alarm deactivated. Welcome home, (F/N). Having a rough day?"

"Kind of. After a trip, and then back to here."

"You can do it."

"Thank you, Jarvis. I can't do this without you."
