PERCY'S P.O.V.

Isn't it a beautiful day? Perfect day for another camper to be chased into camp by a monster.

And this was a special camper. This camper was claimed as soon as she stepped foot across the border.

Hecate.

After that little thingie was over, Annabeth and I showed the girl her cabin.

After getting her settled in, I introduced myself.
"Hi, I'm Persassy, god of sass."

Annabeth smacked me on the arm.
"I don't think Hades'll like you saying that."

"Why?" I asked.

"Because Hades is the god of the Underworld AND sass."

{A/N I looked up the greek god of sass, and it actually read Hades.}

Annabeth turned to the girl.
"Hello, I'm Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, and this is my boyfriend who can't find his way out of a paper sack, Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon."

"Hey!" I exclaimed.

"It's true," Annabeth said, "Isn't it?"

I nodded.

The girl laughed and said, "Pleasure to meet you, I'm Chataf Lestrange. But people just call me Cat."

"Well, Cat, I hope you like it here! Bye!"
Annabeth hurried me out the door.

She looked at me, eyes wide with fear. "Percy, I have a bad feeling about her. Like, who name's their kid, kidnapper?"

"Uh, Annabeth? She said her name was Chataf, not kidnapper."

"But, chataf is egyptian for kidnapper! Just, be careful around her, okay?"

"Okay, Wise Girl. But don't worry about it to much, okay?"

"Okay."

I gave her a quick peck on the lips before heading to my cabin. I opened the door and was met by a voice behind me.

"Well, hello Perseus Jackson." It was Cat.

"Hi Cat. Annabeth said the weirdest thing. She told me to be careful around you just because  your name meant kidnapper in egyptian."

"Well then, I guess you should have listened to her."

"Wha-" Was all I could say before she pulled out a stick and light shot out of it. Then everything went black.
