Dev's pov:

A fresh new day started witha a new hope while l was as unstable as the wind. Yesterday's memories were flashing in my mind. Finally Tanvi accepted my friendship but she needs time for it. I respect her decision. I did my morning chores and made my way towards the dinning table to have my delicious, healthy breakfast which is cooked by my mom and sister in law.

Our entire family settled down in the dinning table. I was happily eating it.

" Oh it seems today Devu is having special day. His face is twinkling like stars", my mom teased me.

" Yeah of course mom, today l and Tanvi have decided to go for a date ", l said with a contented smile.

" Wow all the best my dear brother in law, rock it. Impress Tanvi with your charm ", my sister in law giggled.

" Yup just how my elder brother Daksh impressed you and you felt in love with him", l said in a casual way.

" What.....what, it's a completely joke. Your brother is completely unromantic & workaholic person. I work hard and try to impress your brother", my sister-in-law rolled her eyes towards my elder brother. They had love marriage.

" Crooked lady", my elder brother pulled my sister in law's leg.

I enjoyed this sweet batter. I too wish to live such sweet and sour life with Tanvi. I want her to be comfortable around me.

I want white shirt paired up with the dark blue jeans. I sprinkled few drops of perfume. Today again I took extra care to to look more handsome. I only want Tanvi to like it. Today time is working & going on so slow or I am working too fast ? . Let it be something is wrong with my mind. I quickly made my way towards to work in the office. I started completing files work. I was checking the time every after one hour. I am really very excited to meet my love Tanvi.

Time lapses, it is evening 5 :30 pm around. I went to Star light college. I was eagerly waiting outside the gate to pick up Tanvi. I felt many gazes on me but I loyaly ignored it. If I was single then I would have enjoyed such attention but now my heart only belongs to Tanvi hence l just shrugged them off.

There I saw Tanvi beautifully clad in a navy blue colour long Anarkali dress , she was walking very slowly and steady. Two more girls were left side of her. They were laughing and giggling loudly. She still didn't noticed me.

I waved my hands towards her still she didn't noticed me. Suddenly one girl, beside her whispered something in her ears, at the nick of time she looked up and saw me. she is my life. She smiled affectionately towards me. I was jumping and happiness in my mind. of course I didn't did such funny antics in front of her. I don't want her to get embarrassed in the college.

Tanvi's pov :

I had an important lecture today hence I went to the college early. Today I wore navy blue colour long anarkali dress. I took extra time to get ready, after all it is  first time when someone is taking me to any date. I never had any boyfriend in my life in the past hence l never thought of going to date but tonight will be my day. Blush crept on my cheeks by thinking such things.

I completed my work by 5 p.m. I know Dev must be waiting for me. Sneha and Vishakha my colleagues. we were gossiping and talking so much. I was so engrossed in talking that I didn't noticed Dev, who was standing outside my college.

" Awww..... Hot guy in our college. Wow....just wow. why his standing outside and staring to us? ", Sneha my friend whispered near my ears.

I looked straight and found Dev waiting for me. I smile coyly towards him. My heartfelt jealous when Sneha and Vishakha were praising Dev's look. What happened to my mind? Still Dev was not mine or he is mine? My heart is still confused to think the correct person.

I when near him. He quickly huged me making me embarrassed. Few students and teachers were staring towards us. Sneha and Vishakh too gave me strange look.

" Sneha, Visakha meet my friend Dev", I introduced them while they give me naughty and teasing smile.

Being a gentleman Dev, he helped me to open the door of his car. I sat on the passenger seat while he took driving seat. I bid bye to my friends.

Dev turned on soft music. I was enjoying it. I was feeling secure and comfortable around him. I just kept fidgeting my fingers all over the traveling. I was observing his facial expression and the environment.

" Where are we going Dev? ", I asked him out of curious.

" It is surprise madam, don't get panic. Just wait for it. We will reach soon ", Dev chuckled at me while l pouted.

" Don't do that ", l heard his voice.

" Don't do what? ", l raised my eyebrows.

" That... Pouting... Or else.... I can't control. Let me concentrate on driving ", he said while controlling his hormones. I blused profusely hearing his sentence. So l make effect on him.

After few minutes later, l scrolled down the glass window. I started enjoying the amazing and peaceful environment. Winds were blowing heavily while trees were dancing happily.

Finally after few minutes car got sstopped. We reached our destination. I was about to get up from my car but Dev helped me.

" Wait I will help you", Dev said happily.

" No it's okay, l will manage ", l gave him assurance but he was too stubborn.

Dev first got down and opened the door of my side. I smiled at him. He showed his hand before me. I gave a confused look at him, while he blinked his eyes. He indicated me to hold hands firmly. I placed my arm over him. Such a sweet gesture.

He holded my hand, a different kind of sensation felt in my body. His hands were very soft and delicate as flowers. He suddenly tied a cloth on my eyes.

" Blindflod? ", l asked in confusion.

" Yes, wait l will help you ", Dev said to me.

He helped me to walk steadily, l was about to fall down on staircase but my super hero Dev saved me.

" We reached the place, l am opening the blindfold. Open your eyes slowly ", Dev said with at most care.

I opened my eyes slowly. The lights were off, my eyes got blurred so l again closed my eyes rapidly. The scene in front of me made me overjoyed. I became so pleased. The cottage was beautifully decorated with small lights, clean curtains adore them. Melodious slow music was on. It was a great place, good touch with all good vibes.

I look that Dev jubilantly. He was observing my facial expression keenly.

" How is the place ? I hope you like it", Dev asked me nervously.

" No I didn't like it", I said in a plain tone while his face became downcast.

" In fact I loved it. I was kidding. The place is so wonderful, fantastic, lovely cool, beautiful, etc. All the adjectives added to it. I am very happy. You just made my day".

" I am glad that you liked it", his face expression changed from dull into bright.

" Can I have a dance with this pretty lady? ", Dev asked and sat on his knee. He was making me blush by his antics.

" Oh my God now I am feeling so high. Ofcouse yes Dev", Yeah l wanted to dance with him.

Dev kept his left hand on my back and holded my hand with his right hand. I  kept my left hand on his shoulder. We smiled and swinged our bodies in his rhythm . Our eyes where fixed on each other. We had a romantic dance on a romantic song. We both had a cute eye lock. I found a solace in his company.

" Should we have dinner now? ", Dev inquired me.

I nodded my head. We sat on the dinning table which was again decorated with small fairy lights. It was looking beautiful in the dark. We were far away from the city hence the environment was calm and pleasant. We enjoyed the entire evening ecstasly.

" I think we should leave now", l said while he was sad.

Was he interested to spend some quality time with me? I felt contented from within.

" Yeah let's go", he said in sorrowful voice.

" Ah...uh...l... I think let's wait for few minutes ", l said and here his face got all the colours back.

We both were counting stars. Time was passing in the high speed hence we grievously woked up and made our way towards Dev's car.

I was about to move, l felt a soft petal on my right cheek. Realization hitted me, Dev kissed me on my cheek. I was cloud on nine. My cheeks automatically turned into crimson red. I bowed my head down in shyness while Dev rufled his silky hairs. I wanted to touch his hairs, l wanted to feel it but l dropped my idea.

Dev dropped me in my house safely.

" Come inside Dev", l requested him.

" Nope.... Some other day", he smiled back. Uff!! I am already flat on his precious smile.

" Drive safely and take care ", l said while he nodded his head like an obedient kid.

He was about to go but l stopped him.

" Dev? ", l called him back

" Yeah Tanvi? "

" Thank you " , l said with a delighted smile.

" Why Tanvi? ", Dev asked me in confusion.

" For making my day special "

A broad smile appeared on Dev's face. I quickly hugged him back. I was shocked and stunned by my behaviour. He too hugged me back.

" Should l go? ", l asked him

" Hmmm", he said in a dejected tone.

" Don't worry, we will meet tomorrow", l said by making him happy.

" Really? "

" Yes, l will message you back", l said and went inside my home. Dev too went back at his place.

As soon as l was about to climb the staircase l found Tanaya standing in a crestfallen face.

" What happen Tanaya? You didn't slept ? ", l asked her while observing her unusual expression face.

" Ha? Actually l was waiting for you", she replied back but l was not conveined with the answer.

" All okay right, Tanaya? "

" Yeah di, how was your date? ", Tanaya asked me.

" It was an amazing day l ever enjoyed it. We got to know many things about each other. I want to treasure up such memories with me ", l said with a cheerful smile.

" Is Dev the correct guy for you", she asked me back hoping for my answer.

" I guess yes, let's see in the future. In fact we are planning to meet tomorrow too", l said brightly.

" Di, don't get me wrong but l think you should not meet him frequently. I mean what people will think? I mean you both are not engaged still you are meeting all most everyday ", Tanaya said with a smile. Is the smile fake or real one? I trust and love my sister the most hence l shrugged her thoughts.

" I am feeling sleepy, let's go to sleep", l said and went inside my room. One thing was roaming in my mind, what happened to Tanaya? I mean she was happy earlier but suddenly her behaviour towards me is changing. Am l Over thinking ? I should sleep peacefully with lingering dreams of Dev.

My phone did a tickling sound, someone must have message me.

" You are my life. Good night darling. I hope you have a lot of sweet dreams tonight. May you have sound sleep and wake up tomorrow with new hopes and a ot of positive energy. Good night to you my Tanu!! " , it was a message by Dev.

" Good night Dev. We will meet soon. Now sleep well. Good night!!
