"Carter, I think I can go and buy the pads this month," Alexa suggested, hoping Carter would get out of his room to at least go meet whoever that person was in the shop.

"Okay, bye," she heard him call back. Sighing, Alexa decided that she would have to shop for her own stuff after all.
