The Crystal Gems were having a picnic when a homeworld ship came and landed. They ran up to the ship and the 5 rubies from before came out then a jasper and peridot came out behind them. "Where's the jasper?! She's not on Neptune." Said the leader of the rubies "We...We don't know" Steven said. Peridot scared of them so she hid behind everyone else. The jasper then said "Do you know where the peridot who was assigned to that jasper is" They kept quiet Garnet broke the silence "uh...um...sh-" Then peridot stood in front of them not wanting them to fight and get hurt because of her and yelled "This is my war so don't fight it for me! If you want me come and get me!" Their jasper held a laser gun type thing at peridot and shot it. Bam! Right in the gem. Poof goes peridot. Her gem broke into two. "I got you" chuckled the jasper. "H-how could you do this to you own kind?!" The peridot said heartless "Shes not one of us she's one of you" Steven said standing still starting to cry. Lapis put a hand on his shoulder and said with a tear rolling down her check "don't cry or argue their not worth it" Lapis walked over and picked up the two pieces and handed them to Steven "we can fix it" lapis said smile but tears rolling out of her eyes. The rubies ran towards them ready to fight. Everyone fought other than the jasper and peridot they just stood there and watched. Steven bubbled peridot with a deathly look on his face "...You will pay back for what you did..." This was just the beginning of the second war.
