Part 81 - Wedding Bells: Part A
The next morning, Ram woke up to the most precious sight—Priya resting her head on his shoulder, her face peaceful and serene in the soft morning light. His heart swelled with affection as he took in the moment, cherishing the quiet intimacy between them.
Smiling to himself, Ram leaned in and gently kissed her forehead, his lips brushing against her skin in a tender wake-up call. Priya stirred slightly, her eyes fluttering open to the warmth of Ram's morning kisses.
"Good morning," Ram whispered, his voice soft and full of love.
Priya smiled; her heart warmed by the gentle start to their day. "Good morning," she replied, her voice still heavy with sleep, as she snuggled closer to him, savoring the moment.
As they lay there in the quiet of the morning, their minds drifted back to the events of the previous night. The memories brought a warm blush to Priya's cheeks, and she adjusted the blanket over her, trying to hide her smile. Ram noticed and couldn't help but chuckle softly, his heart swelling with contentment.
"Thinking about last night?" Ram teased gently, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
Priya, still blushing, gave him a playful nudge. "You're impossible, Ram," she murmured, though the smile on her face betrayed her true feelings.
Ram pulled her closer, his smile widening. "Last night was... perfect."
Priya looked up at him, her blush deepening, but her eyes reflecting the same contentment. "It was." she agreed softly, feeling the warmth of his embrace and the love that surrounded them.
Ram leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a husky tone as he whispered, "How about making our morning perfect too?"
Priya immediately caught his intentions and playfully hit him on the chest, trying to hide her smile. "Ram!" she scolded softly, though the warmth in her voice gave her away. "We have to wake the kids up and finish packing the rest of the things."
Ram chuckled; his arms still wrapped around her. "Alright, alright," he said, grinning. "But you can't blame me for trying."
Priya shook her head, still smiling. "You never change," she teased, before slipping out of his embrace and getting ready for the day ahead.
Together, they rose from the bed, the love and laughter from the night before still lingering in the air. As they moved to wake the children, Ram glanced back at Priya, a tender smile on his lips. "We'll have our perfect morning another time," he whispered, a promise of more cherished moments to come.
Priya smiled, her heart full, as they began the day's tasks. Balancing love and responsibility, they were ready to embrace the new chapter awaiting them, their bond stronger than ever.

As they packed, Priya could not contain her excitement and went to meet Daija and Rajat to share the news. "Daija, Rajat, I have some wonderful news," she said, her voice overflowing with happiness. "Ram and I have decided to move back to Kapoor Mansion and give our family a fresh start."
Daija's voice carried a deep warmth as she looked at Priya. "I'm so happy for you, Priya. You truly deserve this happiness."
Rajat nodded in agreement, his tone equally heartfelt. "It's wonderful to hear this news. I'm glad you and Ram have found your way back to each other. You both deserve this."
Priya's face lit up with a grateful smile, her eyes shimmering with emotion.
Just then, Meher appeared from her room. Spotting Priya, she squealed in delight and ran straight into her arms. Priya caught her effortlessly, lifting her up with a laugh.
"I'm going to miss you all so much," Priya said softly, planting a kiss on Meher's cheek. "Especially you, my little angel."
Meher's face fell, her voice small and filled with concern. "Are you going somewhere?"
"Yes," Priya replied gently. "We're moving to a new place."
Meher pouted, her arms tightening around Priya's neck. "But I'll miss you so much!"
Priya held her close, brushing a hand over her hair. "And I'll miss you too, Meher. But don't worry—I'll come and visit you often, and you can come to my new home whenever you want. It's a promise."
Turning her attention to Rajat and Daija, Priya's voice grew emotional. "I don't know how to thank you both for everything you've done for me. During my toughest days, you were there, standing by me, supporting me like family. I can never repay that."
Rajat shook his head, his voice gentle but firm. "You don't owe us anything, Priya. Seeing you happy now is all that matters to us."
Daija stepped forward, placing a hand on Priya's shoulder. "We're just glad you found your happiness again. That's all we ever wanted for you."
Priya smiled through the tears threatening to spill. "I'd love for you both to celebrate this new chapter with us. You'll get an invitation soon—I expect to see you there."
Daija pulled Priya into a warm embrace, her voice full of affection. "We wouldn't miss it for anything."
Rajat added with a smile, "We'll definitely be there."
Priya hugged Daija back, her heart full as she whispered, "Thank you—for everything."

After meeting and greeting a few friends from the colony, the ladies noticed Priya's radiant smile and said, "It's so wonderful to see you so joyful, Priya."
Priya's smile grew even brighter as she replied, "Thank you so much. I'm leaving this place and moving to the Kapoor Mansion." She paused, her eyes reflecting gratitude. "I can't thank you all enough for your support throughout everything. It means the world to me."
One of the ladies commented with a hint of astonishment, "You never told us all this time that you're The Ram Kapoor's wife."
Priya responded with a gentle, warm smile, her eyes reflecting quiet grace.
The ladies wished her well, and with that, Priya, along with Ram and the children, left her home, carrying only the essentials but with hearts full of hope.
Aryan, Amaira, and Peehu were even more thrilled than Ram and Priya, overjoyed at the thought of finally staying together as one happy family.
Before leaving Priya's colony, Ram took a moment to approach the security guard who had been on duty the night he had come home drunk and pushed him in a fit of anger. With a sincere expression, Ram said, "I wanted to apologize for my behavior that night. I acted out of line and I'm truly sorry for what I did."
The security guard looked at Ram with a mix of surprise and understanding. "Thank you for coming by," he said, accepting the apology with a nod.
Ram then handed him some money. "Please take this as a small token of my regret. I hope you can forgive me."
The security guard accepted the money, his demeanor softening. "Thank you, Sir."
Ram offered a final, apologetic smile before turning to join Priya and the children. As they headed out to start their new chapter, Ram felt a sense of closure, knowing he had made amends for his past actions.

Ram and Priya arrived at the Sharma house, where Shipra and Sudhir were already waiting eagerly, having been informed of their visit. As soon as they stepped inside, Priya's parents welcomed them warmly, embracing them with heartfelt affection.
The kids beamed with excitement, rushing to greet their grandparents, their laughter filling the room with joy.
Sudhir's face lit up with pride as he looked at Priya. Placing a gentle hand on her head and stroking her hair affectionately, he said, "Priya, I'm so happy with your decision. It fills my heart to see you all together as a family again."
Priya's eyes shimmered with emotion as she smiled at her father, feeling the weight of his love and support.
After spending a delightful time with Sudhir and Shipra, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and warmth. Ram, feeling content but eager to return to Kapoor Mansion with Priya and the kids, casually mentioned, "It's getting late. We should head to Kapoor Mansion now."
Shipra, however, quickly interjected with a playful yet firm tone, "No, Ram. You cannot take Priya with you. The wedding is in 2 days and there are so many arrangements to be done here. Also, there will be arrangements to be done in Kapoor Mansion as well so you need to be there. Tomorrow, you can come and take Priya and kids with you for wedding shopping."
Ram blinked in disbelief, his smile fading. "What? But... how is that fair? We have already waited so long. Why can't she come with me? I can't stay away from you anymore." His voice carried a tinge of frustration, making everyone chuckle softly.
Priya felt a tinge of embarrassment at Ram's reaction, and with a soft sigh, she guided him to the guest room for a private conversation. Once inside, she gently closed the door and turned to him, her lips curving into a playful smile.
"Ram," she began, her tone soothing yet teasing, "I know it's hard for you, but it's just for a little while."
Her eyes twinkled mischievously as she added, "Besides, don't forget—it's because of you that I haven't been able to spend much time at my parents' home all these years." She poked him lightly on the chest, a playful jab that carried her affection.
Ram crossed his arms, feigning a pout. "So now you're blaming me, huh?" he said, his voice filled with mock indignation.
Priya chuckled, shaking her head. "Not blaming, just stating facts," she replied, her tone laced with humor.
He looked at her with a mix of frustration and longing. "Priya, we've already been apart for years. I don't want to waste even a second more."
Priya cupped his face, her gaze steady and filled with affection. "I promise, this is just for time being. After wedding, we will start our new chapter together. You will have me forever after that."
Her words worked their magic, though not without some lingering resistance. Ram sighed dramatically, shaking his head. "Fine, but only because you are asking. Otherwise, I would have kidnapped you and taken you home," he muttered, trying to maintain his tough exterior.
Priya chuckled softly, patting his cheek. "I believe you," she said, her eyes filled with affection.
Ram, ever the playful one, pointed to his lips with a twinkle in his eye. "How about a kiss right here?" he teased, his voice light but laced with longing.
Priya raised an eyebrow, her cheeks turning a soft shade of pink. "Ram, behave yourself. We're at my parents' house," she whispered.
Ram leaned closer, his tone mock-serious. "So what? I'm your soon-to-be husband, and I'm not budging an inch until you kiss me right now," he declared, crossing his arms like a stubborn child.
Priya rolled her eyes, a small smile tugging at her lips. "You're impossible," she muttered, but her affection was clear.
Giving in, she leaned forward, placing a soft, quick kiss on his lips.
Ram grinned victoriously. "See? That wasn't so hard, was it?"
Priya shook her head with a chuckle, lightly swatting his arm. "You're lucky I love you."
When they returned to the living room, Ram reluctantly announced, "Okay, I'll leave for now."
Ram gathered the kids around and gently explained, "I'm heading back to Kapoor Mansion now, but you'll be staying here with your mom and grandparents until tomorrow. I'll come back to take you all shopping for the wedding."
Aryan immediately perked up, his face lighting with excitement. "I want to go with you, Papa!" he declared, clinging to Ram's arm. Aryan turns towards Priya and asks innocently, "Mumma, can I go with Papa?"
Ram and Priya smiled at him and agreed.
"What about you girls?" Ram asked.
"We'll stay here with Mumma and Nanu-Nani." Amaira and Peehu said.
Seeing Aryan's enthusiasm, Ram chuckled and ruffled his hair. "Alright, champ, you can come with me."
After saying their goodbyes, Ram scooped Aryan up into his arms. Before leaving, Aryan leaned over and planted a sweet kiss on Priya's cheek. Ram, not one to miss an opportunity, smirked and followed suit, placing a quick kiss on Priya's other cheek.
Caught off guard, Priya's cheeks flushed a deep red as she stammered in embarrassment. Shipra couldn't help but laugh at the playful display, while Sudhir shook his head with a warm smile, clearly amused by Ram's antics.
"Alright, let's go before your mum gets any redder," Ram teased, winking at Priya as he carried Aryan out the door, leaving her both flustered and smiling.
Sudhir and Shipra were happy to see them together.
***********
At Kapoor Mansion, Aryan was brimming with excitement, thrilled to have some special time with his father. He ran around the grand halls, his laughter echoing as Natasha joined him. Krishna watched fondly; her heart full of joy as she helped oversee the wedding arrangements as wedding is happening in Kapoor Mansion. The mansion buzzed with activity, from decorators arranging flowers to chefs preparing delicacies, creating an air of celebration.
Meanwhile, at the Sharma house, Priya cherished a rare, heartfelt evening with her father. They sat in the cozy balcony sipping their favorite Tea, reminiscing about their good old days. Priya opened, her voice soft and nostalgic. "Papa, I missed this so much. All these years, I longed for moments like these with you."
Sudhir, his eyes warm with emotion, held her hand gently. "Priya, no matter where life takes you, you will always have this home, and you will always have me. I'm so proud of you and the strength you've shown all these years."
Their conversation flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter, memories, and unspoken understanding. It was a moment Priya deeply cherished, feeling a renewed bond with her father.
Amaira and Peehu spent their evening basking in the love of their grandparents. Shipra prepared Amaira and Peehu's favorite dishes. After dinner, Shipra indulged them with stories from Priya's childhood, making them giggle with delight, while Sudhir listened, occasionally chiming in with his own tales. As the night deepened, the girls snuggled up with their grandparents, feeling safe and loved, and drifted off to sleep, their faces glowing with happiness.
Both homes, in their own way, radiated warmth and anticipation for the big day ahead, as the family prepared to come together and celebrate love, unity, and new beginnings.
