Bella's POV:

I woke up to my alarm blasting With Your Love by Cher Lloyd, and the clock read 5:50am.

I shot out of bed and pulled on some jogging pants and a tight fitting jacket.

When I got down stairs I quickly ate a banana and wrote a note to remind Gram and/or Jeremy where I was in case they forgot.

After eating and stretching I plugged my ear buds into my phone then placed them in my ears. And pushed shuffle. The tune of Numb by Usher quickly filled my ears. I quietly closed the door behind me and took off.

I went left of Grams house and kept going straight till I was in front of a ran down fabric store. I took another left and ran past a Starbucks.

The delightful smell filled my nose I so badly wanted to stop but knew I could stop for some on my way back.

After passing the Starbucks I decided to jog around the park. Once I entered the opened space. I made two laps around then decided to take a break. I slumped down on to a near by bench to catch my breath.

As I sat there I took in the breath taking view. A small black fence was around the perimeter of the park with a side walk around the inside. A few light post and black benches were around too. A couple birds were flying over head. just as the sun was rising A cool breeze blew as well.

I closed my eyes as I felt the wind against my hot face and the smell of fresh cut grass was in the air.

"Is this seat taken?" I heard a voice above me ask.

I opened my eyes to see a girl around my age standing beside me. She had dark hair with blue highlights in a high pony tail.

"Oh, no," I scooted over, "You can sit." I smiled up at her.

"Thanks. I'm Ray, by the way." she smiled as she sat down.

"Hi, I'm Bella." I nodded towards her.

"I can tell that your from America." she laughed

"Yeah," I laughed, "I moved here to live with my Gram." I said.

"I moved out on my own. I just couldn't take my parents anymore."

We sat there in silence listing to the birds until Ray asked me another question.

"Are you going to school here?" she turned to me.

"No. I was going to take on line classes. you?"

"I dropped out when I moved out."

"Well I better get going. If you want we can go grab some Starbucks just around the corner."

"I would love that."

I stood up from the bench as did Ray and we were off to jogging again. We came to the Starbucks that I passed just a while before. We walked into the delightful smelling shop which was pretty empty except for one man sitting in the corner on his laptop with his coffee in hand. 

Once we ordered or drinks we started walking towards my house.

"So where do you live?" I asked Ray.

"Oh, um. We turn right at the old fabric store and its just down that street." She smiled at me.

"No way? My grams house is that big white one." I said, taking a sip of coffee.

"So that's who lives there?"

"Yup" I said popping the 'p'

"Well we will have to get together some time."

"Defiantly!" we finally got to Grams drive way, so we said our goodbyes, "Well I will be calling you later." I told her.

"Totally, you too." She said and with that she was on her way home.

I walked in the house and saw Jeremy baking some breakfast muffins.

"Morning monster." Jeremy said to me with a smirk on his face.

"Morning Godzilla." I laughed back.

"Good, sweet morning my rambunctious children." Gram walked in and hit us on the head.

"You to Gram." I said back. Trying not to laugh.

I turned back to Jeremy, and just as we started talking, the sound of glass breaking caught us off guard

I spun around, while Jeremy lifted his head, and we saw the top cabinet open with Gram in front of it and broken glass at her feet.

"Well, shit." She said

It isn't everyday you hear an elderly woman swear.

"Gram are you okay?!"

"I'm fin darling." She said as she started to bend down to clean up the mess.

"No, No, No." Jeremy said rushing to our aid. "I'll clean this up, Gram. You go sit down, get off your feet, and have a warm cup of tea."

"Okay, if you say so."

I took hold of her hand to help her around the glass and lead her to the dinning room table, and set her down.

"How would you like your tea?" I asked.

"Some honey and sugar please?" She replied.

"I have to go take a shower, then I will be back down." I kissed the top of Grams head, and headed up the stairs.

I got to my room and got undressed about to get in the shower, when my phone buzzed.

I laughed to my self as I threw my phone on my bed and jumped in the shower.
