Chapter 2

Once again, thank you @TopazDarkBlue for the first chapter, name, and description. And also for letting me continue it! It means alot

(NOTE: This chapter was supposed to be introducing the other two characters, but that's boring af so in a way this is a joke chapter, but will affect the story.)

Gideon's POV

The next day we start playing in the forest.

Well, let me rephrase that.

I was sitting on a rock watching Pacifica chase butterflies and make flower crowns.

I was sketching a few things when a woman fell from the sky.

Now, I may seem crazy, but I'm not kidding.

Me and Pacifica watched in shock as a woman fell and hit the tree in front of us, hitting every branch on her way down and letting out a painful cry in another language.

"I must've hit every damn branch..." she mumbles in frustration, getting up and brushing herself off but froze as soon as she saw us.

"I-I-I..." Pacifica stuttered. She gave us a nervous smile and wave.

After a few moments of no response she checked her back side and patted her hair down, sighing in relief before sitting down.

"Please be statues, please be statues..." she mumbled to herself.

"Who are you...?" I ask, making her curse under her breath.

"My names Lina... Its best not to question how I got here as I don't even kno-" she starts, just as a man in a yellow tail coat fell like her and onto her.

"OW WZLFH LQ OHVV WKHQ 5 PLQXWHV, FRPH RQ!" she exclaims in pain, the man chuckling.

"Aw, you still remember. And thanks for being my cushion, Rose," he said.

"Ixfn you, Cipher," she mumbled, pushing him off her then getting up and brushing herself off.

He starts laughing but stops immediately as she spoke. "Your a meatsack by the way, Cipher," she said smugly.

"What?? What did you do?!" he asked, panicked and checking his body.

"Hey, I'm one too!" "Your ALWAYS one!"

They kept bickering with each other before remembering us.

The man was a blonde wearing a yellow tailcoat, top hat, gloves, and an eyepatch, and holding a cane. Definitely not your average attire.

The girl had neon green hair, eyes, and lips. She wore glasses, black gloves, formal attire, and slip-on's. All over her were markings.

The girl readjusted her glasses which somehow had stayed on her face.

"Well, I think we owe you an explanation," Rose said. "You have a bad habit of saying 'we,' Rose," 'Cipher' said.

"I only said it once?" "One time too many."

"Hold on!" Pacifica interrupted before they could go back into a rant.

"I'll ask the questions," Pacifica said. "So, Rose and Ciphe-"

"My names Lina, like I said. I didn't give you a fake name," Lina replied kindly.

"Yeah, she's pretty but touch her and her thorns will cut you. My names Bill, Bill Cipher. Lina likes being formal," he said, holding out his hand which had blue flames coming from it.

Lina made him put his hand down. "Don't, Cipher."

He rolled his eyes -- I mean -- eye, and retracted his arm.

"Ok... And why is it raining people?" Pacifica asked.

"Well, somebody got beaten by 12 year ol-" Lina started.

"Can we PLEASE not talk about it..." Bill mumbled.

She sighed. "I made a deal with him, and despite no part of the deal involving us being human and being stuck in this alter-"

"Hold on, you KNOW where we are?" he looks at her angrily.

"LET ME FINISH!" she exclaimed, sighing and continued. "Well, as I was saying, we don't know, De-"

Another person fell from the sky. I mean, I know this place is weird but JESUS!

It was a boy, who instead of falling on Lina as Bill did floated a few inches above her.

"I HAVE ARRIVED, BITCHE-" He got cut off by Lina smacking him.

"Ow, what the fu-" Another slap.

"LISTEN HERE, YOU BI-" and another...

"........ Fine, fine. Although I'd love to fu-" And another. (He was going to say 'Fuck you up.' Minds out of the gutter.)

"STOP FU-" slap. "-CKING SLAPPING ME, YOU LITTLE BI-" slap. "-TCH!!!"

"I did not come down here for this shi-" surprisingly, another slap.

"I'm leaving! See ya! Bye bye, bi-!" slappidy doo.

He growled in frustration and disappeared.

Then came back.

"Forgot one thing, your trapped here and I was SUPPOSED to help you buuuuut... Meh, you can satisfy our audience," he said, disappearing again.

"Audience?" Lina and Bill asked.

I tried standing up, closing my sketchpad, and leaving but Pacifica stopped me.

"So, you need a place to stay?" she asked.

"Pacifica, what are you doing???" I whisper to her.

"Getting answers," Pacifica whispered back.

"I mean, we could stay with my--" Lina started. "Yes, yes we do. I refuse to stay with 2 Lina's," Bill said.

"Great! You can stay with us!" Pacifica said. "WHAT?!" I exclaim.

"Oh, thank you," she said, smiling kindly at Pacifica.

"Uh huh..." Bill muttered, Lina nudging him.

"Cool! Lets go!" Pacifica said, dragging me back home as Lina followed and Bill floated after us.

Pacifica quickly darted inside to distract our Grunkle Bud as I brought Lina and Bill to our room.

"Alright. You can stay here, but we need to get slee--" Pacifica ran in with a giant sleeping bag and two pillows.

"Hold on, we're sleeping together??" Bill objected, Lina was just hiding her face.

"Well, you bicker like a married couple so I assumed," Pacifica said, setting up the bed.

"I don't need sleep, anyway," Lina said. "I get my energy from nature. In a shorter term, I'll lay sit on the floor."

Pacifica nods and sets it up for Bill.

"I don't need sleep either," he said gruffly before yawning.

"Human, remember?" Lina said, a smug grin on her face.

"Right... But why not you? Why don't you need to sleep?" he asked, slightly frustrated.

"Well... I'm not actually human, disguise, remember?" Lina replied simply.

"Prove it," I said, curious about what she actually was. Not gonna lie, I was expecting some green skinned alien.

"Fine," she said.

Silence.

"... Is something supposed to happen?" Pacifica asked. Bill burst out laughing.

"I.... I..." Lina stuttered, unable to speak properly.

"I knew it! So you will need sleep after all!" Bill said in between laughs.

"And you need air," she said gruffly.

"An--?" Bill immediately started choking for a few seconds before being able to breathe again.

"I can still cut off air," she said, taking a pillow from Pacifica's set-up and putting it on the floor. "I'll sleep on the floor."

"Understood..." he mumbled, rolling his eye.

"Sooo... What now?" Pacifica asks after a few moments of silence.

"We could... Uh... I don't know..." I say awkwardly. "Maybe give you a tour?" I add.

"Sure, I guess..." Bill mumbles as we take them out into the town.
