Jimin awoke to the sound of light snoring. He opened his eyes, wincing at the light shining brightly from the window. Once his eyes refocused he looked at the source of the noise, smiling softly at the sight in front of him.

Yoongi was sleeping, his head resting on the edge of the couch. By the looks of it, he had fallen asleep while keeping watch. The blood in his clothes, hair, and face had long since dried, sticking to him. Jimin stared at him, unable to ignore the warm feeling bubbling in his chest. He resisted the urge to run his fingers through Yoongi's stained cheek and hair,  settling instead to admire him from afar. He couldn't help it.

Yoongi looked soft while he was sleeping. There was a peaceful expression on his face. Even with the blood on his face, Jimin was still reminded of a child. An innocent child. His current state didn't represent who Yoongi actually was. Jimin remembered the hunger in his eyes, his excitement for blood to shed. And here he was, the exact opposite of the counterpart. Jimin could see why Hoseok, despite trying his hardest to stay with him, began falling for Yoongi.

Ever since Yoongi had step foot into his life, Jimin had taken an interest in him. At first glance, he was shy and anyone could tell he didn't want to be there. All this time, Jimin thought he was interested in Yoongi because he was a threat to him and Hoseok's relationship. He couldn't understand how Yoongi could be Hoseok's soulmate, to begin with. Jimin always thought that Hoseok and he complimented each other pretty well. They fit well together, he was sure of it. Yoongi didn't look like Hoseok's type, much less Jimin's.

Jimin had never proven himself wrong.

Yoongi's soft counterpart was the reason why Hoseok and he fit well together. Sure, Jimin was a soft person at times, but Yoongi's whole demeanor was that. Jimin wasn't designed to act more of a human. He was more human than Jimin would ever be. Both Hoseok and Jimin hadn't been born through parents. They had been developed, engineered by others, so even though they had beating hearts and could hurt, they weren't really human. Not like Yoongi was anyway.  That's why it had caught him off-guard that Yoongi's personality shifted after training.  The humanity that he had from his years had been completely erased, and what came back out was someone who was similar to them. Yoongi had improved though. Yesterday had proven it. Yoongi had saved his life. His humanity side showed more. It didn't help that for the past two weeks they had been hanging out together nonstop.

Now Jimin was more confused than ever.

He knew he still had feelings for Hoseok, but to have feelings for Yoongi at the same time? He didn't think that was possible. One person couldn't fall in love with two people at the same time. Yet, here he was, finally admitting to himself that the curiosity he had for Yoongi was more than that. It wasn't even a small crush. The feeling, although warm, threatened to engulf him whole. He had done his best to subdue it, convincing himself that it was hate. But Jimin knew he couldn't hate Yoongi. He didn't have it in his heart to.

Yoongi began to stir awake, squinting as the light hit his eyes. Jimin watched him wake up, aware of how hard his heart was beating. Yoongi turned to Jimin, smiling lazily.

"Good morning." Yoongi greeted, yawning loudly."How'd you sleep? How's the wound?"

"It was alright." Jimin answered, sitting up."As for the wound, I think it did leave a scar."

Yoongi inched closer, grabbing his leg gently. Jimin winced at his touch, pain immediately shooting up. Noticing his discomfort, Yoongi let his leg go.

"It still hurts doesn't it?" Yoongi asked."It was fixed but the pain of it remains."

Jimin chuckled at the statement."Yeah. I don't think I'll be able to walk if I was told to. That does remind me. How did I get here?"

Yoongi cocked his head to the side."Do you not remember how you were brought here?"

"I kind of slipped into unconsciousness from the shock of the wound," Jimin admitted. Yoongi laughed, nodding.

"You did." he mused, "I remember. The guard had started asking for reinforcements. Good thing I stopped him on time."

"Where is the guard now?"

"Oh, he's dead." Yoongi replied nonchalantly."There was no use for him so I killed him."

"Yoongi, do you have any idea how many people you killed last night?" Jimin asked. Yoongi shrugged."It was your first mission. You killed at least fifteen different people. Does that not bother you?"

"Not really?" Yoongi frowned."I mean, I guess maybe old me would have flipped at the sight of blood, but no. I don't feel anything for them. I rather enjoyed it. It was fun. Ten out of ten would do it again."

"You're unbelievable." Jimin playfully scoffed, pushing Yoongi with his hand. Yoongi raised an eyebrow at the notion.

"Jimin, do you really think you should be doing that?" Yoongi questioned."I can easily overpower you."

"Just because I'm injured. That's it." Jimin responded. Yoongi made a poker face.

"Jimin, I literally carried you here." Yoongi said."I had to pick you up, open the door, and put you on the sofa."

"You know what Yoongi?" Jimin crossed his arms."I don't believe you. Not one bit."

Yoongi stood up, nodding at Jimin slowly. "You don't believe me? Why not? All I had to do was pick you up."

"What are you—" Jimin began, before letting out a surprised yelp. To his surprise, Yoongi picked him up effortlessly from the couch. Instinctively, Jimin wrapped his arms around Yoongi's neck, a squeal rising out of him. Yoongi laughed at his antics."Yoongi! Put me down."

"I don't think so." Yoongi teased, walking around."You bruised my ego Mochi. It's not like you can leave. Your leg's busted."

Jimin looked at Yoongi's relaxed face. He was enjoying this a lot. A small pang hit Jimin's chest at the sight. Yoongi looked genuinely happy, his lips holding a gummy smile, eyes crinkling at the sides. He felt time slow down looking at his gaze, the world around them melting away.

"Jimin, are you okay?" Yoongi asked, worry creasing his face. When Jimin didn't respond, his expression worried. He set Jimin down gently, palming his cheeks and touching his forehead.

"I'm sorry," Jimin whispered. Yoongi removed his hands from Jimin's face, a confused expression on his face.

"Sorry for what?"

"This," Jimin responding, tugging on Yoongi's shirt with enough force to cause Yoongi to stumble towards him.

When Jimin's lips fell on his, Yoongi's mind blanked, his first instinct to grab himself so that Jimin wouldn't get hurt. He could feel Jimin's lips, but he couldn't do anything. He was stuck, unable to move.

Until something snapped in him.

Jimin felt Yoongi's lips tentatively kiss him back. At the action, Jimin pulled Yoongi closer, sitting up to feel him more, one hand entangling itself in his bloodied hair. His heart was soaring. Min Yoongi was kissing him back. Maybe, Yoongi had feelings for Jimin too. Or maybe, he was too surprised to stop Jimin. Whatever it was, Jimin couldn't help feeling happy, even if this was something that wasn't permanent.

"Your lips are so soft." Jimin murmured when they finally pulled apart."They're soft, like you."

"Jimin." Yoongi stared at him shocked."You—"

"Kissed you?" Jimin said."Yeah. I did. To be fair, I told you I was sorry beforehand."

"But, why?" Yoongi asked bewildered."You like Hoseok, why would you—"

"I couldn't help it!" Jimin exclaimed."I-i know I like Hoseok, but Yoongi I like you too. I like you a lot. I thought I didn't but I do Yoongi a-and I'm confused myself because I didn't expect this development but you kissed me back. I don't know why you did, but you kissed me back and look y-you're blushing and—"

"Jimin you're rambling." Yoongi pulled away from and sank into the sofa, sitting next to him."I-i don't know what to do with this information. I wasn't trying to make you fall for me, I swear! I wouldn't want that for you, especially because I have Hoseok and the twins now."

"Then why'd you kiss me back?"

Yoongi sighed, a guilty expression on his face."I don't know Jimin. I can't answer something I don't know myself. My mind blanked and then it was like a switch turned on in my head. I can't believe I kissed you. I'm so sorry."

Jimin giggled softly."You look cute when you're flustered. I bet Hoseok likes to tease you that way too."

"Yoongi, I'm outside."

Sure enough, Ruby was waiting, worry on her face. Yoongi nodded, shutting off his bracelet. He turned to Jimin, who looked at him expectantly.

"Get on my back," Yoongi instructed, crouching down."I'll carry you out this way."

Jimin nodded, climbing onto Yoongi's back. Yoongi could only hope and pray that Jimin couldn't hear his own heart,  a sound that was leaving his ears completely deaf.

By the time they got to the compound, it was almost sunset. Yoongi sighed in relief as he stepped foot into the place. He had missed being here. Jimin was taken to the infirmary and Yoongi, after making sure Jimin was being taken care of, walked to the training room. There he noticed Jungkook and Namjoon training. Hoseok watched from the sidelines, instructing them every now and then. The twins were nowhere to be found so Yoongi assumed they were asleep. He watched as Jungkook fell to the ground.

"Come on Mister President, you can do better than that!" Yoongi teased as he entered the room. Jungkook looked up with wide eyes, a big smile coming onto his face.

"Yoongi!"  Jungkook exclaimed, jumping up and running towards him. Yoongi laughed, embracing Jungkook.

"It's good to see you kid." Yoongi said."It's been a while, hasn't it? How are you liking this place so far?"

Jungkook pulled away, the smile never leaving his face."It's wonderful! I feel so much better here. Safer here than at home."

Yoongi raised an eyebrow at this."What happened at home?"

"We'll explain later," Namjoon interjected, smiling at Yoongi."Welcome back. I'm glad you and Jimin made it back safely."

"But if you ever give me a heart attack like that again I will murder you Min Yoongi." Hoseok fumed."Do you know how much worry I've felt in the last twenty hours because of you?"

"I'm sorry Seokie." Yoongi answered, pulling Hoseok towards him."I won't be as reckless next time."

"Next time?" Hoseok questioned."What's that supposed to—"

"Yoongi I need you t—"

They all turned to the sound of Ruby's voice. Ruby's eyes widened and she quickly looked down, cursing silently at herself.

"You need what Ruby?" Yoongi asked. She shook her head quickly.

"No don't worry about it." she muttered weakly, not looking up."I'll worry about it later."

Jungkook watched Ruby with curiosity, a small frown settling onto his face before he finally said, "Wait a minute. Don't I know you?"

"No, not at all Mister President," Ruby said smoothly. Or at least that's what she thought. Jungkook's eyes widened in realization. He walked towards her, raising her face up to confirm. She attempted to look away but failed once she saw Jungkook's eyes, his pained, anguished ones."Jungkook, don't look at me like that. Please." Jungkook said nothing at her statement, a tear streaming down his cheek.

"Aaliyah."
