Lucy Heartfillia is new at Fiore Academy, being new isn't really giving her any heads up, looking like a fool looking right and Left to find your class can be really embarrasing.

But someone who's famous in her school-----

Let me rephrase that, someone who's Famous in all corner to corner of Fiore.

The Beastly Nastu Dragneel, He is not exactly a Beast but still acts like a humongous beast---or Dragon rather.

No one can be really named as close to Natsu, not even acquaintance, no one can ever look at him in the eyes even a glance. And that made him acts like what he is now.

A Cold, Uncaring, Mean, Beastly Dragon.

He drives people away unconsciously when all he wants is a friend but sadly scaring them off in the end.

But what made Lucy and Exception?

well Let's find out!

Oh sheez! First day and I'm late!

I ran through the less people hallway to my locker, the bell rang a few minutes ago and here I was, first day amd I'm already late!

Great way to make first impressions to them Lucy!

Since my mind is in the clouds I didn't notice someone on my front until suddenly I was in the ground.

"Kyahh!"

"OOMF!"

I looked up and saw a Salmon haired guy glaring at me with his cold Onyx eyes, but it seems I felt the opposite.

I felt warmth.

"I-I'm sorry I-Im kinda r-rushing!" I manage to squeak out those words and stood up, yet I didn't hear anything from him, just a scoff and left.

I stared at his Retreating back that came to view once he passed me.

I hugged my books closer.

Books.....class.....CLASS!!

"Sheez!"

And on that little time I manage to reach class, Introduce myself and listen to the teacher.

Lunch came in, but it seems I still can't get those Beautiful Onyx eyes and that natural Salmon hair out of my mind!

I actually made friends today!

I have Levy- my reading buddy- she have this shaggy short blue hair and despite being in second year she is....small, but she proved that height is nothing if you don't have the brains ;)

Then there's Erza- my big sister like- she is called titania here in school, and she proved it by defeating two bulky students that was twice as strong as me. She have this Beautiful Scarlet hair, and to top it all off her last name is Scarlet!

Juvia- my 'Frienemie' as she says- she have shoulder length blue hair and talks in Third person. She claims that I am her 'Love rival' because Gray talked to me.

Mira - the devil- whenever we pass some girl and boy she will ship it and Make names for them, even us! For example, JeRza, GrUvia, GaLe. But lucky me I don't have any. Anyway she have a lower back length platinum hair and an angel face.

Gray - a big brother/ Class stripper- is someone who has stripping problems, like one minute he'll come clean then the next thing you know he's all naked glory. Or half. Anyway he's the one Juvia thought that I have a crush on.
No way. He have a short boyish raven hair.

Gajeel -metal head- he have A LOT! Of body piercings, I'm kinda suprise that's not prohibited here at this school, he have a long jet black hair. He likes to sing though his voice is..............no comment.

Jellal -mystery guy- well he'a not really my close friend but he's a friend. A friend who suddenly disappears and just pops out of nowhere. He have a light indigo hair and a strange red birthmark on his eye.

Laxus- mira's Boyfriend- now this guy is the grandson of the principal, but he's not arrogant or anything. He just has this cold demeanor. He have a blond hair and a lightning scar on his eye which added to his 'scary' look- well obviously I think it's cool-

We reached the cafeteria and saw that a lot of seats has been taken except for two, one is in the farthest corner and the other on is in the middle.

We ordered food and sat down on the one on the middle.

We are in the middle of eating when the whole place became quiet, I looked up and saw That salmon haired guy walked in.

"Who's that?" I asked partically to no one.

But Mira answered.

"That's Natsu dragneel, becareful around him though he's scary as hell! He doesn't have any friends because of his cold look and his attitude. Just promise me you won't get near him"
Now I got more curious about that, because I don't feel cold around him..all I felt is warmth.

Like I knew this boy, I know that he wants friends but they just misjudge him.

I just nodded emptying those promises and changing into one.

I promise to be your friend Natsu.

The next day

It was Lunch time when I didn't saw my friends, Levy said that they are on a meeting and Gray and Juvia is in the Library together with Gajeel and Her.

That means this is my chance!

I ordered my food and went towards Natsu's seat.

No one seems to notice because I manage to sit.

Again in the middle of Lunch Natsu came, with his Lunch. A shadow dimmed on me and I knew he's here.

"That's my seat" a cold voice said, they watched closly at me and him.

"Well, seat, there's another seat in front of me :)" I smiled brightly at him and that's when whispers and murmurs came.

He looked at me wide eyes and scoffed.

"Get off!" He barked, but then again I don't care.

"Alright" I stood up with my Lunch, when he sat I immediately sit on tge chair opposite to him.

"What the hell are you doing?" He asked rather Calmly yet Coldly.

"Eating?"

"Get out"

"Nope!"

"I said get out!"

"And I said No!"

"You won't want to know what will I do"

"Oh really? Enlighten me please"

"Get out or I'll drag you away!"

"Try me!"

He didn't speak after that and only then I noticed how close are we.

I stucked my tongue out for a second and sat down and ate my meal with a smile.

He sighed before sitting down and ate his meal quietly.

"Hey wanna hear a joke?"

"No"

"What does the blanket said when it fell off"

"Don't know Don't care"

"Oh sheet!"

Then I laughed, when I calmed myself I saw the corner of his mouth twitches up.

I smiled and continue to eat my meal.

When Lunch is over I immediately ran next to him, "Can we walk for a bit?"

"No"

"Please?"

"No"

"Oh come on!"

"No"

"With a cherry on top?"

"No"

"A spicy cherry on top!"

"No"

"Are you wearing a brief"

"For Freak sake NO!"

"Bwahahahahahaha! Caught you! Bleh bleh!"

He didn't say anything but walked faster but still I catched up with him.

I followed him throughout the day.

The next day

People started talking about me, whispers after whispers are head through the hallway, glances after glances were thrown to me but I don't care.

I looked around to find a certain person when a hand pulled me into a corner.

I followed the owner of the hand and saw Erza pulling me into a classroom.

When we got in I saw the Group looking so serious yet worried.

Erza made me sat on the chair in the middle.

"Ok straight to the point, Lucy WHAT. THE. HELL?!" Mira shouted looking disappointed

"What?"

"I told you to stay away from him! He's dangerous! He's a beast!"

"No he isn't!"

"We just disappear for a day and now we hear rumors about you and that BEAST having lunch TOGETHER?! Are you serious?! Do you know what can happen to you if you looked at him in the eye?!"

"Yeah.....nothing"

"What do you mean nothing?! Two students were sent to Hospital because they looked at him in the eye! Lucy please understand that we are just trying to protect you from that beast!"

"Mira he's not a beast ok? He's a person, and as for the two students maybe something happend to them that Natsu didn't do? I mean maybe they got into a gang problem or something."

"Natsu did it Lucy!"

"DO YOU HAVE PROOf?!"

"W-what? U-uhm"

"See?! Nothing! You don't know anything about him and yes I don't either but I'm trying to! I don't criticized him or Judge him because of what rumors said that he had done! I am trying to get to know him because tht is the key to Judgement! Guys you Judge too early, please stop that. Because the person you thought 'Heartless' might be hurting so much that he became numb, too numb and lack of warmth. I don't make friends because I pity, but because I want to.
Think and discover first before you judge! Because even the stone cold person has feelings!"

Little did I know that a certain salmon haired boy is listening through the door, with tears in his eyes.

A few weeks later.

Natsu is no where to see, I started to feel nervous.

Did I do something wrong? Did I said something offensive?!

Omg omg omg omg!

I was pulle out of my mental panicking when a hand grabbed mine and pulled me to the School garden.

I looked towards the Puller and I saw Salmon hair. When we reached a gazebo he pulled me to sit next to him.

We were quiet for a while before he speaks.

"My Father is the Owner of the Biggest and Largest Company, The DE, or as known Dragneel Enterprises. Being the CEO's child is not fun, because My dad has the Biggest shares in this School, so that means they thougt that I'm a suck up rich snob because of my Cold demeanor and as for the kids, they did got into a problem, I was just passing by that time when one kid Called me to bully me or something when I looked at him in the eye, I was about to warn him that someone's behind them with a bat, but it was too late. While they were fighting I ran to get help but then when we came back they are already gone. That is when the rumor starts to spread, and people became fake.
They befriended me for money.
That is why I was cold that day when I saw you in my table because I thought you would just take advantage of me when I'm vulnerable. But then when I heard you behind the close doors of that classroom......for the first time again, I felt warmth......something i never felt a lomg time ago.."

When he finished I was shocked to hear what happend, the boy went through many things, I continue to listen to him while he tell me the story.

"When my mom died I became depressed, my dad became distant until I never see him in the House anymore. So I moved out, but he still support my Education." And then he finished.

"Hmmm, we almost had the same experience you know? When my mom died my dad blamed me, he neglected me as his child and starts to treat me like a tool to his Success, to the point he wanted me to Marry someone I don't know. So I ran away and Lived all by my self."

He was quiet but I know that he's listening to me.

"But did you know what mom said before she closes her eyes? She said:
'Even the weakest can be a leader, Even the Strongest can shed tears, Even the toughest can have weakness, Even the Braviest can have fears, and even the Numbest can have feelings. Never Judge a person without knowing what's on the inside, because the inside is what all tht matters not the action or appearance"
And that is what came into my mind whe I first met you"

When I looked at Him I caught him already staring at me, too long to cause me to blush.

We stared at each other and next thing I know, Our lips touched.

We kissed for a minute, longer than that I guess, when we parted I looked at his beautiful eyes.

"I love your eyes"

"Thank you, you're the first to say that" he chuckled despite his rosy red cheeks.
"Well thanks for the honor"

We laughed and starting from now, I saw the side I never thought I would.

We stopped charting when the Bell rang.

"Wanna come to class?"

"Nah I'll stay here, class would probably whisper things about me."

"Please! I'll be there don't you worry!"

He looked at me for a second before sighing in defeat.

"Fine fine, now you go first because if I go People would think I did something to you."

"Promise you'll come Alright?!"

"Yes mam!"

He grinned childishly, I smiled back before standing up and walking back to school.....ofcourse not before giving him a pointed look.

He chuckled and nodded and put a thumbs up.

I turned and smiled.

There's something sweet, and almost kind
But he was mean and he was coarse and unrefined

But then I looked back earlier that he was Laughing like a kid.

And now he's dear, and so unsure
I wonder why I didn't see it there before
I walk to the class with a big smile on my face causing a confusion to my classmates and friends, I jut shrugged and sat on my seat mear the window.
Then I saw him walking towards the buliding, he looked up and I waved.

[Natsu]
She glanced this way, I thought I saw
And when we touched, she didn't shudder at my hold
No, it can't be, I'll just ignore

But then again, The way she looked at me... I felt warmth and.......loved

But then, she's never looked at me that way before

[Lucy]
New, and a bit alarming
Who'd have ever thought that this could be?

They said the I'm a Princess, and I need A prince charming.....my ass, I rather have the dragon.

True, that he's no Prince Charming
But there's something in him that I simply didn't see

And now I will do anything to make
tht smile on his face permanent.

[Erza]
Well, who'd have thought?

[Mira]
Well, bless my soul

[Gray]
Well, who indeed? And who'd have guessed
They'd come together on their own?

[Levy]
It's so peculiar! Wait and see!

We'll wait and see, a few days more

The group just Looked at the two couple who ate lunch together and happy, and they all thought.

Maybe Lucy is right, There maybe something that wasn't there before....
