Red velvet cake
INGREDIENTS:
*2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
*1 1/2 cup of sugar
*1 teaspoon baking powder
*1 teaspoon baking soda
*1 cup butter milk
*1 tablespoon cocoa powder
*2 teaspoon vanilla extract
*2 eggs
*1 cup melted butter
*red food colour or velvet powder.
METHOD:
Sieve 2 1/2 cups of ur all purpose flour into a clean bowl,add 1 1/2 cup of sugar,1 teaspoon baking powder and soda,add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and mix well,place it aside and bring forth another bowl.
Melt 1 cup of butter and set aside to cool,add 1 cup of butter milk in a bowl,add 2 teaspoon vanilla extract and 2 eggs to the milk and mix well,add d melted butter to d mixture and stir well.
Pour d liquid ingredients onto d dry ingredients and mix well till no lumps is seen,add ur red food colour or velvet powder to d mixture till it turns entirely red.
Bake at 250°c for 10-15 minutes or untill when a toothpick is inserted and is out clean.
