Chapter 5: Frisbees
*(Y/N) POV*
The bell rang, telling us all to go home. People flooded the hallways as they made their way out of the school. Classes start tomorrow, along with club activities, so that I can go home. But first things first, I need to put a check on my to-do list, which is buying frisbees.
As I walked to the dollar store, I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched, but I never saw anything, so I brushed it off. I arrived at the dollar store and grabbed every frisbee they had, which was 47. I was so lucky my dad gave me 100 dollars for the first day of school. I knew 47 wasn't going to be enough, but it worked for now.
The lady who was unfortunate enough that she had to scan every frisbee had long dark blonde hair that was pulled into a ponytail, with silver eyes and a light skin tone. Her nails were painted blue and had a jew set in each. She seemed to be in her early 40s.
The cashier lady looked at me, "werewolves?"
"How did you know?" I was a bit sarcastic.
She laughed, "You haven't been the only one to buy the frisbees, and my child is a werewolf, so I know. Are you guys playing ultimate frisbee?"
I laughed, "No, but thank you for the idea. It's just for school, to stop them from fighting."
"Oh, " She scanned another frisbee, "I'm sorry I thought you were a human."
"Oh, well, I am!" I scratched my head, "its a long story, but I'm still in charge of them, and I'm doing my best to keep the peace."
"Wow! Werewolves are tough to handle, especially for a human!" She said and finally scanned the last frisbee, "there you go!"
I grabbed the six bags full of frisbees, around 8 in each bag, and three bags in each hand, "thank you so much!"
The cashier waved at me as I left the building.
--Later at home--
I finally walked up to my house. It wasn't the best, but it worked. It was a two-story house, painted grey. Three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, our kitchen and dining room were in the same area, on the left side of the house if you're facing it. The living room was on the right. The window of my room was facing the big oak tree on the right side of the house, so my room was above the living room. The two other rooms were on the other side of the house, one was my dad's room, and the other was for guess' even though we never had any. In the back we had a good size yard, there was another oak tree back there with a rope swing. Our front yard was my garden that was protected by a white fence; my mother loved flowers. At least, that's what dad told me. I was too young to remember what my mother was like. We moved into this house last year. We were always moving because...
"(Y/N)!!" My dad opened the front dark blue front door, his tail wagging like crazy, then he saw the bags, "let me help."
We carried them inside. I huffed as I put them down, "Thanks, dad."
My father was tall, unlike me. The only thing I didn't get from him was his height and the ears and tail. Other then that, I was just the female version of him. We had the same (E/C) eyes, even in ability, but he wasn't as strong as I was, he could feel their current emotions, but he couldn't see their past feelings as I could. He had messy (H/C) hair with (H/C) ears and tail. He was well built and slim. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans, with his favorite red sneakers. He walked back to the door and closed it.
"Dad, did you go to the gym or something?" I asked I noticed the sweat drops on his (S/T) forehead.
He smiled, his tail wagged, and his ears perked up, "Yup! Aren't I just the coolest dad?"
I laughed, "Maybe the sweatiest, but I don't know about the coolest."
He pouted, his tail and ears drooping, "Now that's just mean."
I giggle at him, "I'm kidding.
"Anyway, what's thiiii," His eyes sparkled, his tail and ears perked right back up as he carried the 'i' as he looked into the bags.
"For school, dad!" I quickly ran and grabbed the bags, shielding them from my father's gaze.
"Awww!! We can play with at least one!" He was jumping left and right, trying to get to the bags.
"Fine! But only one!" I put the bags down and grabbed an (F/C) frisbee.
"Ah yeah! Father-daughter frisbee bonding time!" He cheered as he dove through the window in the living room.
"Dad! We just got this window o replaced!!" I yelled as I jumped out of the broken window.
